New questions are out, and feel free to like, answer the old ones if you want if you haven't already. Also, feel free to add some new questions to ask other folks yourself. c:

Hey, I'm gonna revive this thread because I think everyone's answers are super interesting, and I just like to talk about my character...
Silver and I were never that similar, but I do think a lot of my core values rubbed off on them over the years, such as a love of animals and a desire to treat others with kindness. I used to use Silver as a platform to push my own moral beliefs, but thank goodness I don't do that any more! Oh, and we're both sort of ... but actually really quite bad at talking to people. For Silver, it's because they ARE an outsider to this world, and for me, well I guess I've just always felt like one.
Be incredibly lost and confused, I guess, which is really just par for the course. I think Silver's grasp on reality is tenuous enough that they'd believe I invented them, or that I'm some weird magical omnipotent being or something. They'd really miss their pets.
Hmmm, Muse probably. My frog-faeron. He's small enough to hang out with me all of the time, and is mostly harmless but also indestructible so I wouldn't worry about him constantly.
Silver has always been a pet tamer, they break mounts for a living. Sometimes I used to actually do it in character, but it's been a while. Either way, that's their official job, not that they really needs one since they are mostly self sufficient.
Like, thematically? Duality, I guess, like light vs darkness. As much as Silver wants to be only light, the darkness is always there, too. It's reflected in a lot of their things, but primarily their weapon. I also give Silver a lot of sky/stars/clouds themes but I'm not sure how much of that is my aesthetic preference over who Silver is as a character. I think the sky and storms can represent change, and the weird mental fog they often experience.
Hahahaha, just terribly. They constantly try to avoid disagreements, and to be honest don't usually make much sense anyway.
In character, Silver came from a distant land. They're a cross between a mammalian mother and a human father. They lived with their mother until they were a teen, then traveled until they eventually came to The City.
The character of Silver has been more or less the same for many years. They were originally made as a weird quirky magical being to which weird things happened because of some unknown magical power. They were 'cute' and naive. Also they were more than a little bit cliche. Oops. Over the years, as I got older, they became less powerful and more nuanced until I was finally at a place where I was happy with them. (Sometimes I also swung too far into 'dark' without as much 'nuance' which I am not terribly happy with, but oh well.)
On my character sheet, I just wrote 'heal', which is true. Silver wants to heal. Heal their wounds, their relationships, their pets, and everyone else who might need helping.
I want them to actually meet some other player characters, for one, and to flesh out their skills and abilities to be able to do more stuff.
This changes all the time. At the moment, I'm going to go with 'Cinderella Man' by Rush. It's the story of a man who tries to change the world with his fortune, but is perhaps a bit naive and... insane.
This question can almost always be answered with 'gardening' or 'training' but actually, at the moment, I'm having them go through and try to remember all the places they used to go and things they used to do before they left.
Trying not to have big goals right now so I can enjoy the journey a bit more. :3
Give them some real friends. It's the only thing they can't really do for themselves.
Sorry, but, it's totally Gen.
I think they would say 'Kumoya' if for nothing else, because they're afraid she'd find out if they didn't.

Joining in too, although my character's edge factor hurts a little bit when I write it out. XD
-We all know that our characters are NOT us/their actions/words aren't necessarily ours. But how much of you is in your characters? Share anything with them? Nothing really was done intentionally, but we both have a few issues with misinterpreting things. She was built specifically to not share much with me.
-What would your character/s do if they got sucked into the real world? What would they think of you? Could they come to grips with the idea that they were made by you? Haix would do everything in her power to kill me horribly, then kill everyone else she could before being put down. Finding out her religion was entirely false, that some soft-skin made her entire life up and was therefore responsible for her suffering, that she never had any agency of her own, her life meant nothing, and that she was the only one of her kind would not go over well. If she did not know, she would likely dedicate herself to going home.
-If you could bring one of your HxR pets to the real world, which one would it be? Assuming this doesn't mean based on what good they could do, like an eclipse amphadron being able to regrow folks limbs through magic, and I could not rely on the loyalty they have towards my character, I'd take either the yin or the foxfire malii so I could have someone to talk to and hang out with. Preferably before Haix got done with them.
-What do you think your character does at their 'job' on site? All Headcanons are fine! <3 Haix is a ranger. Headcanon-wise, that means she's like animal control for the city. She can either go out and deal with loose/feral creature sightings or bring in ones she encounters on her own time. The bounties are paid out regardless of whether the creature is living or dead, and it's not uncommon for her and other less scrupulous rangers to drag their living catches to the illegal pet-fighting groups for a little extra cash before dragging the remains in for the official bounty. Haix loves this job for the hunting, and that those who pay her never ask why, say, the living pearl tat-lung she brought in has no eyes, tongue, or ears anymore, or that a corpse is missing its heart. Pretty easy to sacrifice/ritually torture things too when you can just claim you found them that way, or that it happened in a fight. The job is excessively dangerous despite most creatures being common variants rather than boosted customs or offspring, and it is not uncommon for rangers to work in small teams of two or three to avoid being surprised and overwhelmed. Despite how protective each might be over their personally staked out zones, many rangers also leave something that will allow them to be tracked down and revived, their first month of payment withheld specifically to pay for a death should it occur.
-Do you associate any symbolic things with your character? (IE: Anything you describe in writing often in detail about your character, or the landscapes in which they interact that reflects on them?) Can't think of something concrete at the moment.
-How well would you character do on a debate team? (For the LULZ) Assuming she was behaving herself and trying, she'd do fine.
-Where did your character come from, in game and from your mindscape? In game, Haix came from the swamps south of the city, and despite being lumped in with the jungle ssashirk, she is very firm that she is a swamp ssashirk due to the differences in religion and smaller differences in culture. Mindscape, she was built the way she was in part due to the potential war that never happened and took heavy inspiration from Warhammer fantasy, namely the Skaven, the Lizardmen, and the Beastmen. I wanted to play a character with a culture massively different from my own, and potentially fight against the labs.
-What are your character's goals? Right now, Haix wants to hunt some of the godlings(ranging from actual gods to node-eaters possibly) she is sure lives within the city to earn her 'freedom', as she believes she has been cursed and her gods, much less any of her people, will not be able to claim her heart/essence when she dies. She also plans to do more religious things like crafting totems if any of the lab beasts can be adequate replacements. In terms of less serious goals, she wants to hunt a lot as much for fun and practice as to catch the eye of one of the gods, and she wants to compete more whether in the pit, the contests, or just outright fighting folks. She also intends to throw a weak speaking pet like a Harachiu into a pit tournament to see soft-skin reactions and other kinds of things to sate her curiosity.
-What are your goals for your character(s)? I did want her to meet more folks and get over her prejudice towards some of them, maybe get her magic in someway she did not find heretical, have her train up more beasts, get her a draconic someday to either work out some of her issues towards them or make them worse, and have her grow in general. Also want her in a war, so I'm going to pretend the city actually gets into one and not roleplay it with other members to avoid conflicts of setting. I've also been thinking about setting up a hunting grounds property for her too. Did want her to become a champion at the pit or contest hall at some point, but it's safe to say that's less likely to happen than Spirit returning and opening v3. XD
-Do you have any songs or other such things that you associate with your character? Don't have any specific songs, but I do like listening to game soundtracks occasionally when working on her stuff. Like from Monster Hunter, Tooth and Tail, Bloodborne and so on.
-What is your character currently doing? Preparing for a hunt at the mines.
-How close are you to your big goals? Haven't started the war plot line yet, but she is ready to start hunting in the mines or anywhere else at the moment. I also have the farm property to make into her hunting grounds, but need to decide which creatures to stock it with and write the descriptions accordingly.
-If there was one thing you could do for your character, what would you do? If I had to be realistic, might try getting her the perfect hunting companion or into a fighting force in the city.
-What is YOUR favorite pet of yours? I like a lot of them, but it's between Mun or Gala. Mun's one of the only two customs I ever designed and got for myself, and Gala is hands down my favorite sarane, if not offspring in general, on the entire site.
-What is your Character's favorite pet of yours? Probably Walker due to the sheer amount of time they have spent together, though she's not likely to admit it.
