How did the labs collect weird places like this? A mansion, in the middle of nowhere, rumored to be filled with strange magic. It was what drew their interest, and they had intended to go alone. However, the moment they reached the grounds, they felt a wiggling in their unruly mane of hair, and realized that they'd acquired a stowaway. The little larvae that crawled around in the kennels must have dropped onto them when they were leaving food, and decided to stay hidden in the hair.
Sighing, they now carried Eella in their arms. She was staring around with her wide, blue eyes, fascinated- she'd never left the kennel before. This place was so open, so new. And the scaled creature holding her in their arms was warm. She snuggled a bit closer, lightly bouncing up and down in Aura's arms with every step. She was completely unaware of whatever adventure might await inside; mainly, she was just excited to be out in the world.

100 - Tawnyfeather (Charcoal x Summer) Name: Gender: Male Stamina: 9 Strength: 6 Resistance: 3 Dexterity: 4 Mentality: 3 Special Abilities: Danger Sense, Pack Instincts, Run Moves: Peck, Spur, LeapAmelia Amelia had been to the mansion before, but she hadn't done much inside the facility. She knew it was magical, and she knew there were prizes to be discovered. There were a few different things she could be involved in that would earn her items. Mining, going to the mansion, and owning and tending to a garden. She could work hard in the tunnels and uncover some gems. Whatever she found, she was allowed to keep. Of course she had to work hard for it, but the results were worth it. Or she tended to her garden and the creatures in there and things would grow or breed and she would be gifted items that would benefit her in many different ways. Also, a significant amount of work had to be done there to reap the rewards. But, the mansion was different. You could go to the mansion and simply explore the facility. Go into different rooms and see different things and find things. You were allowed to basically take anything that you found, and some of the things there could be really weird. The last time she had come with the crossbreeds she hadn't found anything, but that didn't deter her this time around. Today she would find something, and maybe run into other people along the way. She didn't come alone. She had bought a Chiryma, and now she was bringing him with her. She hadn't decided on a name yet, and she figured it would come when it did. She wandered towards the mansion, a metal chain leash and collar on her creature. The large bird walked calmly behind her, pecking at the ground occasionally in search for some food. She squinted her eyes, seeing a tall black and purple creature standing by the door. Standing at least 6'5", with features that were not human. Getting closer, she recognized the being as a Ssashirk. She had heard of the species before. Like mammalian, they were humanoid creatures similar in nature to different wild creatures. Amelia was much smaller than the Ssashirk, but her companion was bigger than the one the Ssashirk brought. As she got a bit closer, she realized she was going to be getting into the mansion at the same time as the other person. Maybe she would have companionship while going through the mansion. "Hello, I see we both have the same idea today." Her voice was soft and friendly, and the Chiryma turned his head towards the other duo. 0.6 1

They barely gave a flicker of their tail as they heard her approach, turning only once she spoke to them. Humans were awfully friendly, and seemed to pack bond with people instantly. Aura couldn't relate, but at least it meant when presented with pseudo-horrific haunted mansions they were not abandoned to get lost and potentially devoured by some eldritch monstrosity. "It appears so." They acknowledged. They glanced at the chiryma with mild curiosity; birds were not their strong suit, but at least those giant walking ones weren't quite as bad as the tiny screaming ones. "Have you been here before? I'm new to the area, so I hadn't even heard of this place until...Maybe a few days ago."
Eella kept her eyes fixed on the woman and her chiryma as soon as they approached, burying herself further in the ssashirk's arms. She didn't want to be eaten by the giant creature. She wasn't even sure that she would be, but didn't birds eat bugs? Aura's arms were save, and birds wouldn't bother a giant reptile...right?
