Morgan had found a ton of items whenever they went to the Mansion over the month of June, and they had began to wonder exactly what they were supposed to do with all of this stuff, until a certain individual that totally wasn't a friend had off-handedly mentioned that the Curious Collections (whatever that was) had a Trader of some sort that would take all of the stuff in trade for other stuff. Well, that sounded better, right? Morgan had thought about sending a servant out to do it, but eventually figured that it wouldn't hurt for them to drop by while walking Nico to the park that day. Morgan gently told Nico to stay outside of the area, and then walked up with their basket full of stuff to trade.
The trader looked... Weird somehow, in a way that Morgan could not quite place. Ah well. "So, I heard you were taking mansion items for some kind of gem this month?" Morgan said, while holding out the items.
The Trader bobbed their head and held out a basket of purple gems for the person to see before pulling them back again and motioning to see the items they had brought. The Trader stared at the items for a moment, as though adding them up, and then finally turned and scooped together 55 jade and putting them into a basket. They then turned and put the basket with the stones on the counter, tilting their head as though questioning if that was fine.
Holy crappoli that was a lot of gems. Morgan knew gems decently enough, though not exactly what they were worth. The Jackalope knew that kind of stuff better, Morgan was more of a scientist at heart and less of an artisan. Ah well, some places basically treated them like currency, so they would be good to have even if Morgan didn't know a whole lot about them. The trader seemed to be requesting that they confirm the trade, and it was fine of course. It was a little odd that they were not talking much; didn't shopkeepers generally talk the heads off of customers if they were not stopped from doing such?
"Uh yeah, sure." That was probably the least decorum that Morgan had spoken with, and they went ahead and used LSL as well; to see if that would work better. 'Sure, that trade is good.' Morgan was still learning it, but hoped that would be good enough. Was the trader mute? Morgan gave over the basket of things to the individual, and then reached out gingerly for the gems, so as not to frighten the individual. They were kinda... Short maybe? That was saying something, Morgan wasn't very big theirself.
The Trader nodded and let go of the basket of gems before shooing the person away for a little while. Now it was time to take inventory again.
Riku: It was already under my email address, so I kept it. Thought it was funny people assumed my gender. (I was like 12, so logic was limited.)

Riku: I forgot about Subeta. I preferred Rescreatu, but they locked me out of my account cuz I used a female username. /: It wasn’t a gender identity thing really. I made the account for my best friend at the time who was female. Then she decided not to use it.

Renathan: I haven't been able to get into my account in a while. I might need to try pretty soon.

Ashe: Anyone still play Subeta? >> I'm finally remembering to be active on there for Morostide
Oct 20, 2019 16:31:56 GMT -6
Ashe: That won't work, that would break the drake for /that person/ and still not her.
Oct 20, 2019 14:17:34 GMT -6
fieraferella: Could someone else break your sarane for you and then return it to you?
Oct 20, 2019 14:14:31 GMT -6
Amelia: Ugh I have zero interest in breaking a Sarane xD I just thought he'd get plantified and I could play with him. Blah this sucks

Renathan: I thought it was an accident. :3 I've done stuff like that too!

Darky: attack each other. So if more than one altered pet of the same alteration type battle each other, the battle would be.. kinda over before it even began x3
Oct 20, 2019 3:38:32 GMT -6
Darky: battling a little difficult). Tournament-wise, that one's up to the mods. Altered pets technically don't get any upper hand, though in case of Blessing of the Shadows it does create that unfortunate situation where two creatures with the ability cant
Oct 20, 2019 3:38:28 GMT -6
Darky: As for sarane needing to be broken, I'd say yes under normal circumstances, unless the character specifically asks the alteration to include something to make the creature more docile (but that would come with stats reflecting that which would make

Darky: Procreation serum is more 'traditional' in its method, which means the altered pet has to be able to physically produce or carry the offspring (so Nightmare couldn't be used for this process, since she's basically a skeleton with no womb)
Oct 20, 2019 3:35:44 GMT -6
Darky: Yes if its paid breedings, depends if its Procreation serum. Paid breedings are 'lab' breedings, which basically means smushing DNA artificially and any 'altered' pet can still breed normally within its species

Aster: Oh yeah, I remember just looking at those the other day in the stats thread. Dunno why it slipped my mind

Ashe: I mean, it's still up to Darky for the most part, it was Yang who did Equillion, but it has been done
Oct 20, 2019 0:24:49 GMT -6
Ashe: Darky bred Nightmare, her Undeadified Tainted, to another equillion.
