There was only so much more time, but Renathan knew that they had to wait. It felt like the orbaru would sit there and play forever, finding new and weird games. It took a long time, much longer than expected. Renathan figured it might be because they had overheated earlier, and were only just now getting truly healthy enough to go along and get this over with. The mammalian tapped his foot as he waited, as he was typically wont to do, and then glanced up around him. Yeah, everyone else had already managed to get a room for their orbaru ahead of him. It had been several hours, and judging by the air-conditioning's patterns of kicking on and off, it was getting much cooler outside. Maybe it would rain. The mammalian continued to wait, but didn't have to wait long. Just before a room was vacated and one of the breeding center helpers went back to go clean it; Renathan caught sight of a certainly golden flash; like a lighthouse on a starry night. Ah; so Sirius had finally done what he was supposed to. Renathan let that go on for some time, and then looked apologetically at the other breeding center officials. Now all they had to do was go home.
It did rain.

Two babies; a content little female, and her bubbly brother.
