Please note...- The last date to post your introduction post is the August 22nd. Without an introduction post you cannot battle. - Certain moves can't be used in the Pit because of the surroundings and other moves can affect more than one creature at the same time. After all introduction posts have been posted you will be informed whether those two apply to any of your creatures' moves. - That you have 3 days to post a response to a calculation post and/or roleplay post. The 3 day deadline is not extended if your foe posts after a calculation post. Not meeting the deadline results in an automatic disqualification. - That characters level once every 20 posts in the Fighting Pit, but pets gain levels and loyalty towards their owners normally.

Hmm, another forfeit, that complicated things a little bit. Jack knew the other one usually didn't show up, but that still didn't take the sting out of things for the moment. That was fine though, she figured with a little sigh, it didn't really matter, a win was a win, right? Scowling a little, she shook her head a little and didn't care much about things at the moment. Whatever happened, it would be fine she figured, and she hoped they could manage a win out of this fight as well, hopefully they would show up and all that. Giving her Thundergug an affectionate nudge, she went up into the stands and figured out if they won, they would be that much closer to not winning the tournament. She laughed a little, losing that fight had been a little bitter, but oh well, it didn't really matter, they were here to have fun, that was all.

It had been a little hard to tell what happened in the end of the last battle, but they were declared victor. Vidarr seemed all the better off for facing off against another thundergug. He could have enough fun for her, since the woman was still growing more tired of the violence. At least facing three of the imposing beats in a row meant they were out of the way, but Lethalia was admittedly growing weary of them. Hopefully this would tide Vidarr over for some time, for his owner isn't going to be able to last much longer with all of this battle.
Of course; this gug was even bigger than the last two! Recognizing the owner on the other side, the satyr was quite quickly concerned about what the creature could be capable of. Lethalia was losing grip on keeping it together for the drake to finish this tournament; this was getting to be too much, even though Vidarr's confidence existed in droves to prop them both up.
Vidarr was as unbothered as ever to find another one of the giants upon the sands, composed even when finding a beast of even larger proportions than the last ones. On the contrary - this was great! He looked forward to it quite heartily. Before, the din of the crowd was something that was hardly worth acknowledging in the pit - but his camo head raised towards the stands as their cries became thunderous. Expecting something out of this now, are they? He wouldn't assume that the crowing would be for the 'gug being even more well known for himself, but he did intend upon a show!

After getting acquainted with some normal-sized thundergugs, the sheer size of this dude was cause for concern. In all likelihood the monochrome monster had a potion used on him to see the creature growing to this size, just like Vidarr. You didn't just use one of those potions on just any creature, and the fact that they were looking at another giant across the arena didn't bode well for her drake. He could take a hit from a thundergug, sure, but could he remain standing through a hit from this one? Likely not.
Vidarr wasn't much a fan of his owner's worry, tickling the back of his mind over this or that. The camouflage drake rumbled to himself as concerns that weren't his own flitted across his thoughts - easy to differentiate them, when there hasn't been a thing he truly feared since he was a weak whelp. Why should he fear?
|Fly!|
Not unexpected for the sarane, and Vidarr's faded wings quickly bloom and spread over the sands, stirring the grains with his launch. It may not be a command he likes as much as he likes the one that's permission for bloodletting, but getting in the air is like... second best.

Jack waved to the other woman with a smile on her face and then watched as the Drake took to the sky. Of course he would, she figured he would no matter what. Smiling, she gave the command through their Ribbon to Kro, "Roar Kro, get him shaken!" Of course it wouldn't last for too long, but maybe they could get in an attack while he was wobbling through the air or something, she didn't know, and didn't really count on it, but that was fine. Jack pushed her hair back with a little sigh, unsure of things for the moment, but that was fine. They weren't going to win the tournament, but they weren't going to roll over and call it a day either. Giving another smile, she leaned on the railing in front of her and then wasn't sure what else to do at the moment. She had to leave it to Kro.

Unsurprising their getting airborne would be met with some ruckus; that was fine, that was expected. It didn't make the opening it gave their opponents any more palatable, but it was what it was. They would have to give the capability of silencing noises more thought in the future, when it isn't quite so pressing to get into the air and they had time to consider other things.
Vidarr was becoming more adept at flying while his foes tried to stun him out of the air, though the skill hasn't been a joyous one to work on. There was still that moment he could feel his weight dropping, plummeting a length down before the feeling triggers his wings to sweep down and catch the air once again, only for the cycle to repeat itself before he got his bearings about him. |C'mon, just stay high up, that's all you need..| Sometimes, it felt like hoping for the best was involved too much in her methods in pit fighting - but there wasn't entirely much else to do right now.

Try as they might, they probably wouldn't win this one, but that was fine as long as they had fun! Originally Jack had thought they were going to win the tournament, but it didn't look like it now, which was perfectly fine when things were all said and done. She smiled a little and continued to lean on the railing in front of her as the Thundergug's roar shook the arena and dropped the Drake a little bit for a moment or two. "Okay, rend!" she told him through their Ribbon, smiling a little as she thought of it. At least she didn't know what to do at the moment, but that was alright when everything was fine. Kro swung back with a giant foot and threw it at the Drake, wondering what was going to happen to things as he went. Would he hit? There was a better chance he would at this point, but she really didn't know.

Calculations
-Vidarr skips his turn due to the previous Roar
-Kro uses Rend! A d10 is rolled; 7 is rolled! Kro's dex of 7 + 7 = 14 vs Vidarr's effective dexterity of 12 Rend will do as much damage as possible Rend's Damage of 6 + Kro's Strength of 11 = 17 17 - Vidarr's Resistance of 5 12 Damage - Stone Skin's 1 = 11 Damage Vidarr's Stamina of 11 - 11 = 0
Vidarr touches down not long after the rending strike lands, bleeding and downed. The pit healers rush to the scene to bind the wounds.
Results
Kro gains 2 levels and Jack gains 3 pit prize points for winning Vidarr gains 1 level and Lethalia gains 1 pit prize point for losing
