Please note...- The last date to post your introduction post is the September 6th. Without an introduction post you cannot battle. - Certain moves can't be used in the Pit because of the surroundings and other moves can affect more than one creature at the same time. After all introduction posts have been posted you will be informed whether those two apply to any of your creatures' moves. - That you have 3 days to post a response to a calculation post and/or roleplay post. The 3 day deadline is not extended if your foe posts after a calculation post. Not meeting the deadline results in an automatic disqualification. - That characters level once every 20 posts in the Fighting Pit, but pets gain levels and loyalty towards their owners normally.

Hazy the next day when he came to, Vidarr was yet again less shaken than the owner sitting in wait for him. All that he let on was complaining how he ached on the way to the sands - not once was it in question if he was going to fight today, but seemed to feel it fit to grouse a little.
Lethalia figured she could at least give him that, after recently being hit by a train. For now, the dent in his pride could be ignored, but the fact remained that this time there may very well be one. Being struck by lightening was one thing - whether it was wielded by a tat-lung or not - but being swatted out of the air was too close to the drake's preferred physical domain for him to take it well.
Complaints becoming less as they reached the end of the tunnel, Vidarr left her off without another word. Apparently his confession being heard was enough to satisfy him.

It was another day, another battle. The pair were both a little sullen after the close call the previous battle. A Mosca had knocked Ghidorah out and it hurt his pride enough to make him sulk ever since. Ashe, while disappointed, knew the Mosca and what it was capable of, so he was less upset, but the man's pride was a delicate thing anyway. He hated to lose, and he passed that trait on to his 'children', the sarane especially. Or maybe their egos fed off of each other.
The pair, with Inyala in tow on her usual perch, made their way to the arena. From the sounds of a crowd on the other side, their opponent had beaten them, hopefully for the last time. Ashe could feel the static building as the electrified Drake tended, nostrils flaring. He marched his neck and lashed his tail.
Strong drake he informed Ashe. He nodded and led Ghidorah the rest of the way to the fighter's door. He patted the large muscular shoulder.
Get out there and show him who'd boss, then.
They parted ways, with Ghidorah bursting out into the arena with a roar. Ashe made his way to the stands, where Inyala hopped off to sit on the railing, looking out at the impressive Drake down below. Ashe knew this drake, and had some of his kids.
Vidarr.
This might be a little tougher than he'd hoped.

Even if it had been before her 'time' with sarane tournaments, the satyr was aware of this stunning boy as the champion before Vidarr. It would be hard not to, when she bred her own drake to one of the black's daughters! Not every drake wore it's element on their sleeve like this one, but he looked wholly the part of shocking with electric stripes spanning his sides, more readily charged and crackling than the tat-lung had been.
If there was anything that could lift Vidarr's spirits, it was the sight of another drake bursting into the opposite side of the arena. Muzzle scrunching into a snarling sneer at the smell of static tugging at the air, he wasn't entirely pleased to be facing down another with the power of lightning coursing though them. Lethalia had to wonder if an aversion to electricity was going to be impressed upon the sarane now - maybe it would mean she could get him to stop flying in thunderstorms.
Sparky or not, this the drake could handle on his own, especially after that stint of facing down nothing but monstrous thundergug!
Rage was a familiar friend, flooding the drake's senses and making him hazy at the sight of another drake, a natural reaction that wouldn't ever be the same when fighting other creatures. Indulging in the rush, Vidarr's tail whipped as he breathed in, letting loose his crackling roar the moment he felt his owner cease to hold him back.

Ghidorah sensed the threat building; more than just his own ego, his own pride and burning rage at seeing another drake so close, but Vidarr's rage was palpable in this enclosed space, and it accelerated Ghidorah's. The drake snarled and started to move on his own, knowing the drill. He was usually faster than his opponents and would scream at them real loud, then he would tear them to shreds! And if that failed to work, he'd swat them out of the sky with a burst of lightning! But instead, something else happened. Before he knew what was going on, the other drake was roaring at him! That wasn't how these things worked! Other Sarane weren't faster than he was! Shock stopped him dead, and Ashe couldn't do anything as he watched his Sarane freeze up at the roar. He groaned and rubbed his forehead with a hand. This wasn't looking too good.
Inyala was startled, too, that Ghidorah hadn't yelled first. These silly Drakes and their desire to be the loudest and meanest, she didn't get it. Testosterone. Males. Silly things didn't have anything better to do. She covered her ears, peering out at them with half lidded eyes. She knew, once he shook it off, Ghidorah would be doing the same thing. Drakes!
Ashe's hands tightened on the railing and he leaned forward, bracing himself.

Ghidorah was shaking his head, trying to get the ringing out of his head. The other drake sure was loud! He reared back on his hind legs, wings flapping out in anticipation. He knew what would come after this; the command to use his wings to return this favor. He couldn't wait for some quick vengeance!
Sure enough, Ashe gave the command silently, and Ghidorah went through with his action. Powerful wings snapped forward and cracked the air, making a loud noise and not in the traditional sense. Sand swirled around him and the force of it shook the stands briefly. Inyala felt the vibrations through the railing where she was perched, and she muttered in annoyance. Her ears were ringing from these silly angry drakes and she wished they would knock it off. But it sure seemed like a ritual to her.
Once the wing snap was done, Ghidorah looked around to see the reaction from the other drake, making sure he was where he left him and hadn't run off scared. A low growl eminated from his throat, though Ashe suspected only he could hear it through their link, as the lightning drake slunk forward, landing on all fours and fueling his wings, until the next move.

Simple. Vidarr liked simple.
He'd never come to understand the hesitation from other creatures, or the humanoids that held them back in this battle pit. Facing off against creatures who were less eager to be here, here from some strange bid of their handlers. No killing other drakes, because it would displease the humans. What was the point if he wasn't allowed the bloodshed the proving sands promised?
Nothing was as revitalizing as being able to face down another drake in this tournament, and really relish in it, instead of trying to anticipate the moves and thoughts of other kinds of creatures.
His opponent was already on the move shortly after his roar, and Vidarr was already lunging to follow up his ruckus. If the foe wasn't as shaken by just a little bit of noise, all the better! Maw dripping with the anticipation of sinking his teeth into something, Vidarr closed the gap between them with what time he had, remain more nimble on his feet to seize the black drake before he could respond in kind. Lethalia leaned over the railing, wholly unsurprising he took the initiative on this one, though his decision making skills were still dubious...

Calculations
-Vidarr uses Crunch A d10 is rolled; 7 is rolled Vidarr's dex of 7 + 7 = 14 vs the 6 dex of Ghidorah Crunch will deal the most damage possible Vidarr's strength of 8 + Crunch's damage of 6 = 14 14 damage - Ghidorah's Resistance of 5 = 9 Ghidorah's Stamina of 8-9 = -1
Ghidorah goes to flap those mighty wings, and is wounded during the process by the quicker drake. Once he is down, the pit crew runs out to begin their healing work.
Lethalia gets 3 pit prize points and Vidarr gets +2 levels for winning. Ashe gets 1 pit prize point and Ghidorah gets +1 level for losing.
