Renathan had worked with Princess the month before, and she had produced a very nice looking unique lola. Not precisely his thing, of course, so he'd not been upset to sell the pretty little thing to the kid. Princess was certainly good enough for him; especially since he had no big plans for raising them. However, he did want to work with Princess more, with breeding, since she was a lovely creature and most lotine seemed to produce often enough. He used regular fish to help lure her to the breeding center along the way, like he had last time. Princess was still super wary of him, but wasn't nearly as fearful one would think. Renathan hoped that as they continued to make these trips whenever she was 'ready' that she would slowly come to like him a little more. Princess was a pretty hazelnut color. Renathan couldn't help but think that even the common lotine were pretty.

Renathan had heard that there were other folks out there looking for lola, collectors it would seem, and Renathan couldn't help but want to corner in on that market a bit. Of course it was always possible that princess might not make a pretty lola without a berry, but he was sure that someone out there would want one for the purpose of growing into a lotine! Renathan didn't know how all of that worked, since he hadn't needed to do it yet, but Renathan was pleased with the ease of breeding lotine. They were much quicker and less stressful to breed, and people don't really breed them often. This made for short or nonexistant wait times, for certain! "Come on Princess, we need to make it there before you produce." Renathan mumbled to her, slowly leading her to the door of the breeding center. Lotine sure were slow out of the water!

Renathan really should blame himself on waiting so soon to her production times to actually bring her to the breeding center. It was partially born out of the fear that he would have to take her home, and then come back one of these days if he caught it too early, but her producing out the breeding center's care was a no-no too. Renathan wondered how anyone else kept lotine, and if he might be able to glean some information from them, possibly. "There you go, Princess." He said, giving her another fish as they entered the breeding center. "Now we're here, Meir Gaessh." He said, sweetly, to her. There was a long line for orbaru breeding, and he was super glad that he wasn't going to have to deal with that at all. He waved to the nearest breeding center helper, and gestured carefully to his lotine.

Renathan was worried, a little bit, before that they may not get here in time. Now that they were here, even though it would be frowned upon, she could practically produce in the middle of the lobby and it would technically be okay. Thankfully, she didn't seem to be on the cusp of producing, and Renathan was relieved. The breeding center helper smiled at him and nodded to the lotine; it was obvious that she was going to produce soon, so the helper nodded at Renathan and gestured for him to come back with his lotine. Princess was already searching for more fish, nosing his hand gently, so Renathan used another fish with ease to get her to the back into the room. Renathan was glad that she was less hesitant than last time, thankfully. She was a real sweetie, compared to some of his other creatures of course, but it was always a bad thing whenever a creature didn't like you first.

It wasn't that Princess didn't like Renathan, it was just that she wasn't used to him. If she had been a drake sarane, she would have torn him apart. Thankfully, she was only really dangerous to fish, it would seem. Princess wanted another fish, and Renathan tossed one into the room. Princess barreled through the door after it into the breeding room, and Renathan breathed out. That was 'problem number one' and now Renathan was going to have to deal with 'problem number two'. "Thank you." Renathan said to the breeding center helper, only to realize that they were gone already. Ah, well. The breeding center was always super busy any more, which was probably a good thing altogether. "Alright Princess, you take your time now." Renathan said, turning back toward her. She had already taken to the water, but was looking at him as if she were angry.

Renathan couldn't help but throw his hands onto his hips in a mock-angry expression himself. "Now what do you have to be all angry about, Princess? You don't have any problems. You get free food, free board, and hardly have any troubles ever." He found himself chuckling at this a bit. "Alrighty, I getcha. More fish, right?" Renathan still had a small handful of the regular fish he fed her often enough. He needed to feed her these before giving her the ultra fancy fish that he was going to feed her to see if they effected her output any. Supposedly, the super rainbow fish made them produce like champs. "Here's one, Princess!" He tossed it to her over her head, forcing her to turn away from him to go get it. Princess had been pretty sad acting when he had first gotten her, but she was just angry now.

Renathan took a moment to watch after her as she swam away to go get the fish. She was hazelnut colored, with a pale grey flower. He remembered her eyes as being dull charcoal colored, and she had a few caramel spots on her. Honestly, she was quite pretty as was. He wondered why no one particularly bothered with the common lotine. Sure, they weren't like, super awesome rainbow special colors, but he loved natural colors quite a bit. Soon enough, Princess returned to the fake 'bank' of the water that they had in the lotine rooms, having already snarfed the fish down her gullet. "Well, did you already eat that one?" Renathan gently smiled and then pulled out yet another fish to toss over her. This time, she was ready for it, and turned around speedily to go after it. Renathan smiled after throwing it even wider. She was a nice critter.

Renathan knew that he should probably train her at some point, but he wanted to take a break from training new creatures until the ones he was already working with were finished up. Princess was definitely one of the lower ones on his list, when it came to that. However, she was of use to him even without being trained; as a pretty creature to live in his garden. As well as a breedable creature; if only that he was doing this because she would naturally produce and the lola would just leave if he didn't 'catch' them whenever she was ready to breed. Renathan sighed softly as she returned, wanting another fish. He grabbed the last of the common fish and then tossed this one over her head; which she attempted to snap up in the air but missed. How adorable! Renathan watched as she went after this fish as well.

Renathan went to sit down now, knowing that he could easily toss the magical fish to her from a more comfortable position. They could be here all day, after all. The production of the berry that he had sold to the kid did take all day, after all. Renathan wished that he could drop her off here and just come back later, since it forced him to have to clear out a whole day for it, but no matter. Renathan didn't mind. He did have patience, it was his job that made that difficult to do. Soon enough, Princess was back from the bit of exercise that Renathan had forced her into by making her chase the fish, and now she looked like she wanted to rest on the 'bank' of the water. Renathan was fine with that, he didn't want to tire her out too much after all. He tossed a 'magical' fish her way.

Renathan waited a long time after this, as she took her time relishing this magical fish. She didn't get them super often, since Renathan was careful about her condition, but now he would toss her as many as she wanted. Renathan gently tossed a new fish every time she got done with one and 'asked' for another by looking at him angrily. When would she get used to him enough to stop making faces at him? Maybe even never. Renathan had no idea, but he hoped that she would finally warm up to him at some point. Perhaps she would if he managed to feed her enough fish, huh? Renathan waited what felt like at least a few hours before her little flower petals, dusty grey in color, began to close up. Ah; so it would be soon, huh? Renathan smiled beneath the mask, glad that it would be soon. They didn't take nearly as long as orbaru, for sure!
