Whatever had taught the littler male to fly seemed keen on teaching them to be swift and twisty vs a strong flyer. Granted, flying with something in your claws is not an easy process. Especially wet ram. Wet wool wasn't just hard to burn, it was HEAVY. Plus the dead weight of the kill didn't help much either. Stronger in carrying something with flight, she could call herself that. The little male acted daring and decided to ambush a ram on the cliff. But instead of grabbing it, he only scooped off a bit of wool from the edge. The stupid creature didn't even notice him. So fast, agile and stealthy. Very needed in a young hunter. Very needed indeed. There were some good things about being small, it seemed. She wasn't so agile on a turn like that. Instead she angled and twisted a turn about as close as she could attempt before heading back to where they had taken off from. Leaving a kill in the open wasn't a smart idea especially as she burned energy something quick. [30]

Mintek had done his small display, and he hoped that the lashak would like it. He wasn't sure exactly why he wanted her to like it, but he did. He proudly lands with his little wool piece, and then he gently places it on the ground nearby. Perhaps a little too carefully, he knew that the lashak was quite a bit hungry. He couldn't imagine needing to eat much more than he already did, but then again, he was only just now getting to where he was providing his own food after all. He finds somewhere to lay down nearby, and waits for the female to get finished. He was fine with that. He kept watch, however. He didn't think earlier that there would be many individuals awake, but it seemed like he was wrong. He cast his green eyes across the canyon, and then back at the lashak alternatively just in case.
