She was excited, she was doing another Orbaru breeding, this time with Renathan, she hadn't seen him in awhile and it would be good to see him again, definitely. Grinning to herself, she carried the little original Orbaru in her arms, Celestial softly booping as they went along. She felt a little odd without Tok on her shoulder, definitely, but that was just something she was going to have to deal with since she had taken a familiar. Oh well, she would get used to it eventually she figured, and she patted her shoulder with a free hand, sighing as she did so. Maybe she should have brought him, given him a little experience at the same time... Nope, she had to go back. Jack grinned as they started walking down the path again, this time with Tok chattering on her shoulder, Celestial softly booping back at him from time to time. She couldn't wait to see what Renathan thought of her familiar, and she wondered if he would be bringing Auburn to the breeding. Probably not, and she probably should have left her own at home, but she just couldn't bring herself to do that just yet. They'd already spent quite a bit of time apart since the bonding anyway. 1/30

Renathan admittedly had not been planning on doing orbaru breedings for a while. He was quite tired and decided to slow down since he had been so busy lately that he was afraid he wouldn't have time to do things. In fact, he was afraid that he wouldn't be able to make it today, but he had managed it. Or at least managed to get the sever bond done and then get Wizard out the door in his carrier. Wizard was an SD orbaru, and perhaps that was a good thing. They were generally a little more laid back than any of the ones Renathan used elsewise, and pretty cute even if he did say so himself. Wizard was one of the prizes Renathan had received for all of the Constest Hall-ing that had been done lately. He hurried down the street toward the breeding center, wondering the whole time if Jack would beat him there first.

Tok was happy to be with his master again, even though it didn't feel that way to him, her being his master. Or was it mistress? Either way, it didn't matter, he was just happy she was there with him and all that. He watched the Orbaru in her arms as they walked along, and she hurried as quick as she could to the Breeding Center, hoping to beat him there and have all the information filled in except for his of course, but she didn't think that was going to happen. Picking up the pace, she saw the Center in the distance as Celestial booped in her arms and then wiggled until she dropped to the ground. She wanted to walk now, which was strange, she never wanted to walk on her own if she could help it.
Jack just shrugged and clipped the leash to her for the moment, and she smiled as Celestial beamed at her and then waddled on for awhile. Without a doubt, at least some things would work out no matter what. The Center was close, and she reached out to touch the door handle for the moment to see what was going on at the moment.

Renathan was always a bit concerned that he would be late getting to these sort of things. In all honesty, he had been late the last few breedings he had planned. His orbaru hardly ever did what he wanted them to, and it seemed like just getting to the breeding center was half of the work for him most of the time. When it had been hot out, his orbaru sometimes would be a little to hot to breed on the regular, but now that it was cold, he was afraid that Wizard's little ears would get cold. Well, big ole ears. He looked a lot like the kind of rabbit someone would pull out of a hat, he thought about that the first time he had seen him, he could remember that. At the moment, the orbaru was bouncing a bit in the crate, but at least it wasn't TOO high. He could see down the road that someone was already at the door ahead...

Giving a little sigh, happy she had gotten there first even with Celestial's insistence of walking, she pulled the door open and glanced around as she did so, thinking she saw Renathan down the street. It was hard to mistake those antlers at least, and she burst into a grin. It was hard to be in a foul mood whenever she knew she was going to be around him, was that was this was anyway? They'd both said they loved each other, but she hadn't seen him much since then. What if he had changed his mind? Her expression soon turned to one of worry and she reached up to stroke Tok's feathers as she entered the Center, just as she often did if she was unsure about something.
It was a pity that she didn't know what the male's name was, or else she would fill everything out for now, but that was fine, it wasn't like it would take long for them to get the paperwork pushed through after he got there. She shook her head as she filled out the paperwork, the female Orbaru at her feet still booping softly, and she hoped that things were going to go well with them today.

Renathan had pretty good eyesight, and he was sure that it was Jack up there at the door, but he didn't want to accidentally get it wrong and embarrass himself too badly. He held the crate aloft and went towards the door at an increased clip. Good, nothing too bad had happened on the way today at the very least! He had so much bad luck lately, and he didn't even know why! Well, at least today seemed to be going well. Renathan got to the door pretty quick, and then looked up at Jack with embarrassment across his face- thankfully hidden by the mask. "Hey Jack!" Renathan said, sheepishly. "I brought Wizard!" At that, he lifted the crate up a bit by the handle and then smiled beneath the mask as he looked down at the interesting-ly colored animal. Honestly, he didn't have many orbaru that fit this sort of aesthetic.

She finished up what she could with the paperwork and turned around, almost bumping right into Renathan! She caught herself before she embarrassed herself, however, and she smiled happily at him, "Wonderful, let me write it down." Quickly she wrote down the last of the information and then turned around again, nudging the leash a little, "I have Celestial here, I think they'll make amazing offspring!" The woman was almost bouncing she was so excited to see him, but she wasn't going to embarrass him by hugging him in public. She didn't know if that would embarrass him, but... she didn't want to give off the wrong impression until they figured things out a little bit more.
Tok chattered into her ear, upset with the lack of introduction already, until she chuckled as she reached out to brush Renathan's arm a little before she went to go sit down. "This is Tok, by the way, I finally got myself a familiar! I'm hoping he can really boost my magic since I tap instead of swallowing. Not that swallowing a node is a bad thing or anything!" she backpedaled quickly with wide eyes, had she just insulted him? Honestly, she really hoped that wasn't how he was going to take it!

Renathan was certainly embarrassed enough perhaps even for the both of them. He was sometimes very awkward, and it was showing right now. That was what he got for being gangly and too-tall! "Celestial, huh? Great name!" He said, looking at the female. Was this one of those comet females? He had a male one, and boy did they look different! He liked both of them for different reasons, though. That starry pelt would look nice mixed with Wizard's starry-spotty coat. Purple was a really great color. He wondered what sort of offspring they would make!
Truth be told, Renathan hoped that Jack was as happy to see him as he was to see her. He really loved to spend time with her, and he'd been excited to put off work for a day to hang out with her on this project. "Oh he is so cute! Tok, it is?" He fought the urge to pet the creature. Not quite yet, he thought. Later, maybe? "That makes a ton of sense, actually." He nodded, grinning beneath the mask.

"Thanks," she said shyly, ducking her head a little as she sat down, Celestial at her feet. She knew the heavens were somewhere up there, and it only made sense to name an Orbaru who looked like it after it, she supposed. She didn't know if she believed in an afterlife, maybe she had never been dead long enough or something... Not that she wanted to die for a longer time than she already had been. Jack shivered a little at the thought and then shook her head a little to try and rid herself of the thought.
Beaming a little, she lifted Tok off of her shoulder and held him up to Renathan on her hand, "You want to hold him? He's super soft, even with the feathers!" Grinning, she gave a chuckle as he chittered angrily at her, "Oh stop, you're fine. I trust him with my life!" While she wasn't sure if that's what the familiar was upset about, it only made sense given the circumstances. "It's good to see you again, Renathan," Jack finally said quietly, glancing at the floor as she did so, cheeks turning a little red. She didn't know what else to say at the moment, and Celestial just booped at her feet as she waited with baited breath. Was he happy to see her too?

Well, Orbaru were weird creatures, and Wizard was no different. He looked down at the creature, and already he had his strangely beautiful golden-purple eyes on the female. Well, at least they were simple enough. Food? Check. Mates? Check. Games? Check. At that, they had a fulfilling and happy life. Renathan wished that life was that simply fixed for humanoids! He certainly felt like life was way too complicated for himself, anyway. Things should be much easier and less complicated than they currently were. Life was certainly a mystery, and luckily so far Renathan hadn't had to change his viewpoints on it too much. But Jack had been through so much more before right? Renathan felt a little sad, and tried not to think about it too much. He didn't have a link to her, not like with his critters, but he could tell that something was up for a second there.
"Oh!" He excitedly extended an arm. "He's super cute, I bet he is soft." At that he smiled. "But if he doesn't feel comfortable, I'm fine to wait of course." He said. "I'm glad to see you too." He looked up at Jack from his slightly bent over position and winked at her.

Celestial stared into the kennel the man was carrying and at the little male SD Orbaru inside of it. He was so handsome, and he reminded her of one of the males back home. He wasn't the same one though, that was for sure, this one seemed a little more... something. She just couldn't tell what it was, but she booped softly and tried to fit a paw through the front of the kennel to reach him.
Chuckling at the Orbaru's antics, Jack shook her head, "Oh, Tok's suspicious of everyone it seems. I think he feels he's ten feet tall most of the time." Her chuckle turned into a full on laugh, and she looked up in time to see his wink and she felt her cheeks flush a little, "Good!" Saved from further embarrassment and red cheeks, the attendant called for them and she hopped up out of her chair, dumping Tok onto her shoulder again since the little bastard was turning his nose up at the man for the moment. "You'd like you'd want to make friends..." she muttered to him, gathering up Celestial and extracting her paw from the front of the kennel. Somehow she'd managed to get herself caught, and she was grateful when she was pulled free. "After you?" she offered to Renathan with a smile.

Renathan always made sure to keep his orbaru in carriers, and it was definitely because they were sometimes bad about hopping out of his arms, and he didn't want to see the creature get hurt. Finally, the orbaru blinked, and seemed to understand that the female was looking back at him! How cute! He booped at her softly as well! He put his paw out of the nearest grate hole to try to get back to her too.
Renathan nodded to her, understanding. "That makes sense to me, Auburn can sometimes be a little over protective too. I think it may be a little bit of a familiar thing, or maybe it is just birds?" He didn't have a lot of experience with birds. "Tok is lovely, though!" He looked more at her of course than at Tok. "If you insist." He said, stepping through. He didn't want to patronize her at all, and he didn't mind going first, especially if Jack asked for it.

Celestial hopped after the woman, considering she had the end of the leash and all, and then she booped sadly as the male was taken from her. They would see each other soon, though she didn't know that yet. Of course they would, that's what the breeding was all about at this point! Jack grinned a little at her and reached down to pat her head, Tok almost tumbling from her shoulder as she did so. She still had to get used to him being there, though it felt weird without him there as well.
Renathan seemed to be a little forward today! Jack had to admit, she kind of liked it, and she grinned as she walked after him into the room and then let Celestial off of the leash. The Orbaru hopped around a little and then danced over by the man, hoping he would set the kennel down and let the male out of there, the one that reminded her of Star. It was strange to have a male that looked like him but wasn't him at the same time! "What have you been up to lately? Anything exciting?" she asked eagerly, stroking Tok's feathers as she settled him into her lap. It was a little strange, but nice being like this.

Renathan was glad that today was going smoothly, even if he felt a little light headed right now for some reason. He wasn't sure why, perhaps it was just being near Jack? She made him feel a little awkward sometimes, but it was mostly because he really liked her, a whole lot. He had known that for a while, and he could still hardly believe it that she liked him as well. Wizard seemed to be looking at the female like most male orbaru did. Renathan would let him out soon enough, though it was a little earlier than he would normally do for his own breedings. Mostly because when he was alone, it seemed like the males were a little more 'on point' if one caught the meaning. Renathan went ahead and sat down Wizard's crate, and then gently opened the crate door for him. Renathan shook his head at the same time. "Sadly no, just really busy all the time. I visited the mansion for a short while, and that was... Uh, terrifying. How about you?" He asked, glad to see her. [14]
