Your name; Twilight-Claw Draconic; Z Canyon Home; City of the forgotten Tengoku Do you have plans for your friend; To give it a new home, and be raised within a family. All my Draconics have grown up now in adults, the nest is empty and we would like to welcome a new youngling to be raised with us, with all the love and care we can give it. But it will also be up to the youngling to determine if they would want that. It is my hope I can convince a little one. She had never come here before, so it was at first difficult to figure out where to go, the city of Ettera is huge in more then one way, if only to accommodate those who are truly too large to house themselves somewhere smaller. And she should know, considering she already finds Daisuke’s size intimidating, and he is not yet considered one of the largest species. Opening the door took some effort, as it was build for Draconics, but when she could push it enough to eave a gap to squeeze through, she was all the more glad for coming here. Coming to the oasis, her first sight of it left her in awe. Even if she wouldn’t be able to adopt a hatchling for her growing family to love and care for, she at least knows they are well taken care of here. She looks up to see water from above trickling down the walls at one part, the sound pleasant to hear as she can see the stream flowing further within the huge grotto. Plant life here seems to grow as well, and what little there is growing, seems to be lush and vibrant in her eyes. Going further within the grotto she sees the caretaker, a draconic species she hasn’t seen before. From what little she was able to gather of information on the Draconic, she at least knew the draconic is a Draconess. Cautiously she comes closer and with a smile she says. “Hello ma’am, I wish to adopt and give a hatchling a new home. We have plenty of space left to expand our family, our home is starting to feel empty without the joy of a child near us to raise. All of my family members have grown up now, and they wish to help raise a sibling younger than them. Give it as much joy in the little one’s life as possible, and whatever knowledge we can give the little one of how to become a fine Draconic while growing up.“ Her tone is sincere in what she says, albeit nervous as well. This is the first time she tried to adopt a Draconic to become part of her family after all.

Acethylka is quite surprised to see so many coming here recently to find a new family member. She is also quite surprised to see an individual come up to her first, speaking first. That was a surprise! "Yes, we have many young ones here at the time." Acethylka has never seen this individual before, despite the individual saying that they had a large family. She would watch, as she always did. "Feel free to come inside." She opened the door quietly, and kept it held open for the individual.

Many hatchlings would mean that not a lot of them have actually grown up with their Draconic parents, she felt pity for them. As despites the good atmosphere here, it would still probably be quite disheartening for those individuals to be seen as not good enough by the parents to be picked above everyone else. “How sad.” She mutters, and shook her head to get rid of those thoughts for the moment, it might be sad but she can cheer one up at least with going with her should they wish, and experience what a family is like. “Is it alright if I go to the hatchlings? See if I can cheer one up, and if they are willing.. Join my family?” She asks as she steps further inside, her eyes only on the Draconess for now and not looking at any of the older Draconics whose size made her cautious to even get near if she doesn’t know the individual all that well.

Acethlylka nodded, and simply held open the door. She had meant that a moment ago, of course, when she had allowed the individual in the door. "Of course you may." she said, a draconic smile hitting her face for a moment. She then laid down, to watch the individual and the babies of course from a good vantage point, so that she could make sure that everyone played nice and had a good time.

“Thank you!” She says cheerfully, her eyes lighting up. She hadn’t been certain if she was given permission already to see some of the hatchlings, but now that she did, she couldn’t help but smile at that news. Giving a nod of appreciation to the Draconess she went towards a corner she thought to have glimpsed a few hatchlings already, and being sure to make a wide bent around the adult Draconics living here. It didn’t take her long to arrive, but she kept her distance for a moment, curious to see what they are like when they are just playing with each other. She sees with a smile how most of them seem to be doing a game of tag against each other in a boisterous manner, laughing and prodding each other’s side if one wants to rest. ‘They certainly seem to enjoy being here.’ She couldn’t help but think, and made her turn her attention more towards those that are not playing. While one or two where sleeping, the latter more like falling asleep. She noticed on the other side of the playing field that one hatchling is staring at the others with longing as they played the game of tag. She wasn’t certain if that meant this one didn’t often get chosen for the game, or just shyer in asking to join in. As it didn’t seem like the ones who get tagged actually had to sit on the sidelines when that happened, they just needed to tag someone else again from what she can tell.

Walking closer to the hatchling, she made certain not to disturb the ones playing their game. But unfortunately, when one of the hatchlings capable of speech noticed her, a quick shout of, “Run! That one is it now! Hide!” made the ones playing the game flee from her presence. She was nonplussed about that, not certain what made her be the ‘it’ right now, when she hadn’t even been tagged. Or did they mean something different with it? Still, when she looked again at the hatchling that caught her eyes, she saw it staring at her with its head tilted slightly to the side. The little one ducked a little as she stepped closer, but didn’t try to flee like the others. “Hello little one.” She says when she is about one and a half meter away, kneeling down so that they are slightly more at eye height, even though she was still larger. She didn’t doubt one bit that this one will become bigger than her once fully grown. “How are you?” She asks, not certain if at this age the hatchling would be able to speak yet. The hatchling blinked curiously, looking from side to side before looking back at her. “Yes, you. How are you?” She couldn’t help but grin, apparently the hatchling hadn’t been certain if she was talking to it, or to someone behind the hatchling. “Elloh?” The little one tried to say, and from the pitch of her voice, it sounds like the little one is a Draconess. That’s good to know! She brightened up at her, while she wasn’t certain if she just copied the first word she heard, or might have heard it before. That she was already saying something to her is great. She would have thought getting her to talk with her would have been harder as she looked so shy compared to the others.

Shrugging of her backpack she opened the zipper, and rummaged through it for only a moment to find what she needs. Taking out a flyball that she knows will either be really liked by the little one, or wouldn’t incite much interest in it. “Look what I got here for you, a Fly Ball! Those are fun to play with.” She says cheerfully, zipping the bag closed, and showing the purple ball to the little draconess. “Pul-ay?” She asked hesitantly, smiling she nodded at her answer. Showing the ball, and throwing it In the air, its wings are beginning to move on its own, but as she hasn’t throwed it hard enough in the air, it didn’t quite activate yet to be in full fly mode. “See what it did just now?” She says in a excited tone, trying to get the little Draconess more interested in what she did. She sees her nod, interest peaked at the little ball whose wings are quivering. Keeping one thumb on the ball she opened her palm wider so that the little Draconess could see the object better. Slowly the little one steps closer, not out of wariness it seems, but more to keep her dignity? She wasn’t certain if she read the body language right, but for a hatchling, she is a lot calmer then the other bunch she saw running around. “You can touch its wings if you want, see how it flutters?” She says softly while lowering the toy to about chest high of the little Draconess.

She let out a small chirp of surprise when the flyball fluttered madly just as she tried touching it, she has to keep her thumb firmly pressed to it while wondering if she did fully activate it accidently? She hoped not, as she wasn’t sure how it is deactivated again, just letting it fly around for a while till it stops? Recapturing it once it happens? Would that make it stop? Though, if she did let go it would be quite a amusing game they could play then. “It won’t bite, its just trying to flee.” She says while chuckling at her puzzled expression. Tilting her head slightly she chirps at the toy with her eyes narrowed at it. Slowly she extended her paw at it, her three claws scratching at the surface slightly, before moving on to the wings, touching it carefully. “Sof-th!” She chirps in delight, smiling she says. “Want to go after it together with me?” The little Draconess nods eagerly, dignity forgotten at the moment as she watches how with her thumb slowly letting the pressure go, it zooms out of her hand. Luckily at knee height for herself, so the little Draconess would be able to go after it, and not stare in longing at it when it is too high. “C’mon! Its getting away.” She says cheerfully, her mood getting affected just by this one draconic. “Ye! Yeh!” She hears her say, it felt more like a chirp when that happened. And she tried pouncing on the toy by leaping in the air, missing it by a hair as it zooms out of the way.

“Seems like it doesn’t want you to capture it so easily.” She laughs, and gets a cute growl in return as her own reply on what she thinks about it. Grinning, she decides to help out by running a wide berth around the toy so that she is in front of it, cutting its path off, and making it hover for the moment. “You can do it little one! Catch it!” She says just as the little Draconess started running after it, leaping at it in a straightforward manner, snapping at the wings of the flyball when it started fluttering into another direction. “You almost had it little one!” She encouraged the little draconess as she started to droop for a moment. “Loo-sth Iiit.” She tried to say, looking mournful in the direction of the toy. The other hatchlings that ran away from her have started coming out of their hiding spots, looking gleefully at the toy flying around. One even tried pouncing on it too, but missed. “Its alright, the flyball just wants to challenge you. It doesn’t even let them capture it so easily.” She says while pointing to the hatchlings that tried it. “Shall we try again together? Show them we are the ones capable of taking it right from under their nose?” She says with a teasing smile, brightening up the little Draconess. “Ye! Yeh!” She hears her chirp in delight, and together try to get the flyball before the others.

They played the game for half an hour or longer, she wasn’t completely certain of the time, nor at this point did either of them cared too much for it. She and the little Draconess did their best from preventing the other hatchlings of capturing the flyball, by either being in the way, tricking them into thinking it was starting to fly somewhere else, or in the little Draconess case. Pouncing on their back when it looked like they could have succeeded, and seeing her nip lightly at the ears of the other hatchling before running away from their wrath. Laughing, she tries to make another grab for the flyball who for some reason kept itself at chest height of the hatchlings should they stand up on their hindlegs. Well, some of them. Others where smaller than that sadly. So she had to bend more then she liked in order to try and make a grab for it, she’d fallen on the hard ground a few times now, once even in the water when she came to close to it when trying to make a grab for. Making the little Draconess worried enough that she ran to her in concern, staying at the sideline and not entering the water as it might be to deep for her, while she herself was coughing and spat out water that she had almost swallowed. “Blerch..!” She couldn’t help but exclaim until she noticed the little Draconess. “I’m alright! No Worres.” She waves off her concern at seeing the worried look, and after stepping out of the water, and showing she was perfectly fin and unharmed, they continued the game.

“Grah!” The little Draconess snapped at one of the Draconics with a higher intelligence when it pounced on her back, one that could already talk, might even have been the ring leader that said they needed to flee from her presence when she first came here. “Yowl!” The other Draconic yelped, and scrambled of her. Moving a bit further away from the group in order to nurse its front paws. In concern she walked a little closer to the little one, kneeling down when she is only a meter away. “You alright there? She didn’t bite you to hard did she?” The Draconic looked at her curiously, before shaking its head. “I’m ok.” It muttered, she didn’t know for certain with the pitch tone what the gender could be, as it sounds too.. androgynous? Nodding, she said. ”Alright, if your sure..” And slowly stepped away at seeing the Draconic nod, resuming the game. In the end, both her and the little Draconess weren’t able to capture the flyball. One of the smaller hatchlings did it surprisingly by developing an ambush against it. Successfully snapping it in its mouth, and proudly showing the price. “Aww..” She heard her mutter at having lost the game, smiling she knelt down next to her, petting her lightly on the back. “We may have lost right now, but that doesn’t mean we didn’t have fun while doing so, didn’t we?” She says with chuckle as she sees the little Draconess perk up, and shaking her head up and down. “Hmm!” Grinning, she says. “You know, if you want, you can play this game at my home as well?” She says, adding hesitantly. “Our nest is empty, it would be nice to have someone there again who would enjoy playing games all the time, or keeping their elders on their toes. Though, they certainly wouldn’t mind being called your brothers or sisters though! Well.. Maybe not Izumi, she is more a mother then a sister to be honest as she raised Daisuke, her son.” She clarifies at seeing the confused look for a moment, but the hope quickly replaced it in her eyes as the little Draconess started to realize what is being asked to her. “H-ome?” She squeaked out in a high-pitched tone. “Ye! Yeh! Yeh!” She says while nodding heavily in excitement. With how long they have played together already, and trying to get the others away from the Flyball while capturing it for themselves they did already find out how well they can work together even with limited communication skills on her part, she’d certainly want to try this for herself after having watched other Hatchlings and older Draconic’s get adopted.

Acethylka really felt like the two were getting along quite well. She stepped forward, and lowered her head down to look at the hatchling. "Young one, do you want to go with this person?" She always wanted to make sure that the draconics were okay with it, and were not being coerced, but it was also important to her that they got to go explore the world. The Rookery was not a terrible place, it was an oasis for draconics that didn't have anywhere else to go. However, she did want to see her friends go on new adventures and learn new things, see new sights, and all of that.

She was surprised when they got interrupted in their conversation, but when she heard the Draconess ask the little one if she wanted to go with her, she took a respectful step back. Clearly this conversation is between the two of them right now. She watched in tension as the little Draconess started tilting her head sideways for only a second, before she started nodding heavily again. “Hmm! I go, I go! She ni-ce! Fhu-nn!” She heard her squeak out in excitement, and she started relaxing at that. Apparently, she didn’t want to rethink her decision. She smiled, it would be nice to have one in the nest again. Especially one so playful as her. “Thank you.” She breathed out softly towards the little hatchling, making her turn her focus towards her with a toothed smile. “We go?” She blinked at that, turning her attention to the Draconess who would have the final say hesitantly, waiting for her answer if they could actually leave together. She didn’t want to make an empty promise to the little one if the Draconess disagreed. Shell have to figure out together with the rest of her Draconic family what her name would be, if she hasn’t one already. As it is silly to keep thinking of her as a little one in name, when she will one day be larger than her.

Acethylka nodded quietly, and then smiled wide, in her draconic way. "Yes, then it is settled. Please be safe, young one. Good luck on your journeys." She cared for all of the little draconics, all of the draconics here in general. She would never disagree with a hatchling, as long as the owner seemed like they had the creature's best interest in mind.

The little draconess turned her attention back to what is essentially the guardian of this safe haven, smiling with a toothy grin at her. “You say-fe too! Th-ank you ferr cahh-ring ferr mhe!” She chirps out loud, tail swishing in delight at finally being able to go on adventures outside of the oasis. “I will make sure she’ll stay safe.” She says with a fond smile directed at the little one before looking at the bigger Draconess again. “Thank you for this opportunity in allowing us to expand our family.” She bowed her head at her, and as she knows some of her things are still scattered in the oasis says with a teasing smile at the little one. “Hey, before we go, we’d better take care to get our toy back, ne? Lets see if with round two we’ll be more successful if the other one hasn’t let go of it yet.” The little ones eyes sparkled at that suggestion, and with a laugh, we both started going after the one who captured the toy. It was about fifteen, maybe twenty minutes of chasing after that other little one in a.. well you could say a game of tag, if her little one pouncing on the other one’s back and making sure that one couldn’t move a inch until he or she let go of the Flyball in order to be released by her little draconess if it qualifies for that. Gathering the backpack and tossing the ball in it, they both said their farewells to the other hatchlings and some of the older Draconics that where watching with amusement at their game before leaving. They could have just asked for the flyball after all, but where would the fun be in that? For either her little one, or the hatchlings who knew she was going to leave them today? Better to have them say their farewells in a fun and enjoyable way, then a sad parting on both parties.
