Zhalo was having fun in the mines he figured as he was going to dig through the dirt. Nothing was going to go wrong and all that, but he didn't know what else was going to happen. He knew he was getting bigger at the same time, but that didn't matter much to him at the moment either. He just knew the breaking would probably happen eventually, but he wasn't looking forward to it at all. Part of him wished, a great part of him wished, that she would leave him alone after he grew, but he was finding himself growing attached to her at the same time. Jack smiled at him as he spoke to her, but she explained a little of what was going to happen and he finally agreed, albeit reluctantly of course. It was going to make it a little difficult, but that was fine at the same time.

All it was going to do was make it easier for them to work together, and work together they would eventually. Jack smiled at him and then shook her head a little, not knowing what was going to happen was the thrill of it all she assumed, and she thought it would be the same for Zhalo as well. He seemed like a thrill seeker, at least he wanted to explore the depths of the mines unlike some of the other Sarane. He had an ancestry of it though, considering he was a purebred Black Sarane and all. Jack smiled at him and stroked his head as he dug before grabbing her pickax and digging into the wall again. Though she wasn't sure what to do about things at the moment, that was fine at the same time. They might not find anything else, but that was fine too, as long as they were together.

Whatever happened, at least she was forming a bond with the Sarane and all that, but she didn't know what else to do at the moment and all that. She continued to dig away at the wall with her pickax and all that, but she wasn't sure they were going to find anything after that metal and all that. It was fine, she figured something else would come along, but she really had no idea at the moment, all she could do was keep digging and things would work out alright. Jack sighed a little and shook her head, unsure of what she should do right now, but sure there was something good to figure things out. Jack patted Zhalo on the head as they both worked and she wondered what was going to be fine. Whatever it was, at least she had some idea of what to do, keep digging in the mines and all that.

Is that a geode? When cracked open, it shimmers in a crimson light. Beside it is a flashing stone of different color.

All Jack could do was keep digging next to Zhalo, she wasn't sure what to do about things at the moment. She didn't know what to do about things no matter what. Although she did understand what she was going to have to do in order to find some more stones and all that, but she didn't know what to do about things no matter what. All she had to do was keep digging and all that, she was sure things would come together and all that. That would be fine, she just had to trust herself and Zhalo and everything would be fine and all that. Jack didn't know what to do about things at the moment and that was fine. She sighed a little and shook her head as she swung the pickax at the wall again, trying to figure out what to do at the moment as time went on.

Zhalo was really getting into it, it seemed. She smiled a little and wondered what to do about things as of yet. It wasn't like she could figure it out at the moment and all that, but she was sure things would be fine no matter what. Zhalo was digging, she was digging, and they weren't finding anything after the metal. She'd been so sure they were going to find some good things no matter what, and that was fine. There had to be something in there and all that and everything, but there wasn't much she could do about that. Jack pushed her hair back and sighed a little with vigor, wondering what to do about things at the moment. She just knew they couldn't stop now or anything, and that was all there was to it. Frustrated, she swung the pickax at the wall again and smiled a little bit as well.

She didn't know what to do at the moment aside from digging in the wall of the mines. Zhalo was digging in the floor of the mines, and that was going well as well. Sighing a little, Jack wasn't sure what to do about things right now, they weren't finding the vast amount of stones she was hoping for at least. Shaking her head a bit, she realized she was getting pretty bored, and really she was getting tired too, which was no good when Zhalo was going strong. Still though, she needed to rest every now and then, she had to remind herself of that, and so she put away her tools, grabbed some food and water out of the cart, and plopped down on the floor of the mines. The Sarane looked over at her, shrugged, and then kept digging, if she had to pause, he wasn't going to fault her.

She sat there for awhile, munching on some treats she had brought and sipping on some water. Honestly she didn't want to drink too quickly or else she could get sick, she'd done a lot of work lately! But being hydrated was important too she knew, and she sighed a little at the double edged sword she found herself drawing. Zhalo didn't seem to care at the moment, which was fine for her and all that, she didn't need his attention all the time. Just being there was important enough at the moment to socialize him and everything, she was just getting tired of it for now. Sure things were going well, a little too well, something bad was supposed to happen eventually, she just didn't know what or when. Jack frowned a little and stared into the depths of the mines, wondering what else was down there. It was a mystery.

At least she had some idea of what she wanted to do at the moment. She wanted to keep going into the mines, but with Zhalo over halfway full grown, that was probably a bad idea. She could get lost in the mines and that would be bad as well. Especially if she had a fully grown tier three Drake with her at that point in time. Frowning a little, she realized she was just going to have to stick around and mine here if she was going to do anything at all, and she realized she needed to actually work in order to find anything. Giving a bit of a laugh, she sighed and then pushed herself to her feet again, grabbed her pickax, and hit it against the wall next to Zhalo. He squeaked a moment and glared at her for making him make that noise, but nothing could be done now.

Everything would be fine she knew after all was said and done. She just had to get to that point as well, she figured with a little sigh. Jack wasn't sure what all she wanted with her life, but this was part of it, she figured, so she might as well keep going. Mining wasn't too fun without a familiar, though she would rather be with Goran than anyone else, and she figured they would head out together after she was done with Zhalo. It was the best thing she could think of, Goran had a nose for crystals as well at this point. She grinned over at Zhalo and shook her head a little before patting his head in between his large horns. They were getting bigger and bigger as time went on, she knew they were going to be huge, but didn't know what to expect from him just yet.

Zhalo was a blank slate, kind of, she figured. He hadn't been trained anything and she didn't see him needing any training as of yet at the moment either. She was sure things would work out between them eventually, but she didn't know about right now, which was what she was a little concerned about after all. Eying him, she wondered what he was going to grow up to be like in the future, if he was going to take after his ancestors or not. His mother and grandparents had been pulled directly from the mines, while Suros had been bred in the Labs thanks to Ashe. He had bred his Fafnir to her Alic after he had gained dominance and that's where she had gotten Suros from. She couldn't be prouder of what he was at the moment at least, and Fafnir's fire breath seemed to have been passed down from father to son again.

She hoped things would work out for them though, maybe she should train him some tricks, if only so he could recognize his name or something, but he seemed to be intelligent enough to know that already. Frowning, she dug her pickax into the wall again and something tumbled out not quite brown. Black and porous, the Sarane stopped digging to sniff at it and then he sneezed a little. Jack managed a chuckle and patted him on the head before tossing the lava rock into her cart. At the very least maybe she could sell it or crush it into rocks for her aquarium at the house or something. Giving a little shrug, she realized it didn't really matter at the moment, but at least it was something, even though she couldn't work with it at all in the Workshop. Not that they would look good, after all, but it might still be nice.

If anything at least she had some idea of what to do, he would be a force to be reckoned with whenever time came. She grinned a little and shook her head, unsure of what to train him other than things he already knew, but eventually she would figure it out and all that, it would be fine. Jack pushed her hair back and then patted Zhalo on the head, wondering where the time had gone so far. It had been a decent day outside, but they were stuck in the mines until he grew up all the way, which he was starting to fill out quite well so far at least! Jack smiled a little and shook her head as she dug her pick into the wall again, sure that things weren't going to work out in the end of it all. Hopefully it would, they would see for now.

Nothing would go wrong, she was going to do her best to realize that at the moment. It would all work out eventually she figured, and she smiled a little when she realized she was doing her best as well. So was Zhalo, at least, and she didn't know what to do about it at the moment. He was doing so well and growing so big it seemed a little strange at the moment, but that wasn't going to stop her right now. Jack dug into the wall again, but when nothing fell out, she gave up and grabbed her shovel. At least then maybe she would find something good in the ground or something. Giving a shrug, she kept digging and all that to see if there was anything good and all that. IT would be fine, she figured, if they didn't find anything, Zhalo was much more important right now.
