Welcome to the Abandoned Pets Adoption Agency!
This is not quite your normal shop, as there are many things you can do here - and they're all free! You can adopt pets, donate your pets to be adopted out, or do some volunteer work to help out with all the pets waiting for a new home.
First of all, no matter what you're doing, you need to create your own thread. Please include in the topic description whether you intend to adopt, donate, or volunteer. It makes it easier for the staff to help you that way.
If a friend would like to join you, they're more than welcome to post in your thread. Otherwise, each roleplay is independent of the others.
Since Matthew is very busy with his job, he allows you to play with the pets on your own - under the careful surveillance of his Seeker. (You can assume that Matthew shows you into the back room where the creatures are kepy, then he leaves. Please do not control Matthew's, the Assistant's, or the Seeker's actions directly.)

Adopting and Donating Adopting a Creature To adopt a creature, first you have to get to know it. Make a thread and introduce yourself to the creature. Then you can take the creature out and play with it, groom it, or just get to know it. Make sure to bring some treats or toys, if you have some! Make sure to put the creature's breed, species, and name (if it has one) in the bottom of your first post where staff can easily find it. When you're done, edit the word 'Done' into your title so that staff knows when to review your application. In order for your adoption to be successful, you must meet a minimum bonding requirement as set by the APAA. Bonding RequirementsDonating a Creature To donate, please make a thread and roleplay yourself coming to the APAA to drop off your creatures. If you would like to keep your donation anonymous, please send a private message to Jack with the creatures you wish to donate.

Volunteering Volunteer work is great, isn't it? You get to help all of the adorable creatures have a better day. Whether you're cleaning out cages, feeding pets, or just spending some time with them, your volunteer work is sure to be appreciated. Note: You may bring only one of your own creature to help you out. Any creatures brought into the APAA must be very well behaved and non-aggressive. Keep in mind that all of the creatures in the APAA want to feel safe and relaxed, too! Volunteer BadgesAPAA membership also comes with a rewards program! As soon as you recieve your Helper Button, you can start earning points to buy prizes from the catalog. Membersip RewardsTo redeem your points, please include the word 'done' in the title of your thread. Staff will lock your thread and allocate your points. If you want to continue to volunteer afterwards, you may start another thread. Current Members
