It was about noon at this point and Jack wasn't sure what to expect from herself, the Wiurn, or the Mansion at this point. That was fine though, she figured it would work out either way, no matter what happened, and she smiled a little bit as she thought about it a little. Jack didn't know what to think about things just yet, but that was fine and everything would be great starting today. She had her new leg, lots of magic, and a trained up pet with her at this point, though he didn't know how to attack or defend on command, which might be an issue. Without a doubt, at least things would work out for the two of them at the Mansion, or at least she hoped so at this point, and she smiled at the Wiurn and patted him on the head for a job well done with all of the training earlier.

Jack started walking again, holding on to the reins on the bridle of the Wiurn, pulling him along behind her. He went willingly, of course, but there was still a touch of resistance from time to time. He was still getting a little spooked from the fireworks, and that was fine, she didn't expect them to do much more about things at the moment. The Mansion kind of just did what it wanted to, she didn't know who owned it of course, but it wasn't like she was going to ask that it be changed just for a slightly jumpy Wiurn. As she stopped for a moment and looked around, she saw a little flicker of red out of the corner of her eye. Given moved to the side a little as a little bit of fire moved toward her and seemed rather intent on being with her for some reason. She wasn't going to pass it up.

Well, the little fire wasn't hot to her knowledge, she figured as she poked at it. There was something solid about it, and so she picked it up and put it into her bag. She wasn't going to look away from it at all she figured with a little smile, she didn't know what else to do with it, so it was just going to come with her at this point. There would be more things for her to find as time went by she thought for a moment. Jack pushed her hair back and then tied it back again just so that she wasn't going to catch on fire or anything like that. She smiled a little bit and shook her head, her ponytail slapping her neck a little bit as she did so. She needed to cut her hair, she liked it short and curly, not long and bushy.

Jack didn't know where to go from here, she was still standing on the porch of the Mansion and while she had found plenty of things up here, she wasn't sure what else she was going to do at the moment. She smiled a little and shook her head again, sure she would figure it out eventually. While she wanted to stay outside with the Wiurn, she wondered what the inside of the building looked like at this point. Jack didn't know what to expect from things, and that was fine at this point. She looked around a little bit and sighed a tad, wondering what she could find this month. She really wanted another Caterfly she figured, but that wasn't going to happen she bet. Maybe instead of this she should go fishing, that might work out a little bit better for her, but she didn't want to tire out Given going to the canyons.

Although she had a base plan, stay here as long as she could and find more stuff, she didn't know what else to really do. Did she need to do something? Or just lounge around and hope that things would pop up around her? Giving a little chuckle, the woman shook her head again, no, she couldn't just stay there, that wouldn't be right and she wouldn't feel good about things as of right now. Jack stretched herself out a little bit and wondered what she could do about things as of yet. So far she hadn't found any fireflies, but... she spoke too soon. Jack wasn't sure what to expect from things, and that was fine, really. The little red firefly buzzed around her, sparkling in the light as it shifted on and off again. She caught it in the jar and smiled at it before she put it into her bag again.

The firefly was red and lovely, and she couldn't wait to pair it up with any of the other fireflies she might come across. She thought she had one at the Kennel, but wasn't quite sure at this point anymore. Jack didn't know what to expect from things just yet, and that was fine as long as she didn't want anything specific, but she knew she wanted a Caterfly this month, not that she might come across one. She was a little afraid Given might try to eat it if she found one. She eyed the Wiurn with a bit of suspicion, wondering what was going to happen as time went on. Oh well, at least she had a bit of a plan, though it wasn't much of one at least, she had to admit it to herself, and she smiled a little, at least she would be okay for awhile, right?

Jack finally got off the porch and led Given around a bit, wondering what was going to happen next, just what would they find at this point? She smiled a little and shook her head, wondering when things were going to happen for her. Some things had, some things hadn't, she was getting a little impatient and wondered what was going to happen and when. She just hoped that things would go in her favor, and yes, she knew what she was thinking about, just didn't want to realize it just yet. Some things were definitely better left unsaid at this point, but she didn't know what else to think about. Had it been a dream? Part of her thought so, but a bigger part of her hoped it hadn't been a dream. Is that how she really felt about him? It had to be, but she didn't want to ruin what they had...

Honestly she was starting to run out of a little steam, and she glanced over at Given to see if he was the same way. His eyes were wide though, which meant they shouldn't stick around too terribly much longer she figured, but if they could hold off and see a lot more things at this point, then things would be fine she figured. Jack chewed on her lip and then walked alongside the Wiurn at a stroll through a garden of firecrackers. They weren't going off, they seemed to be rigged to go off at night or something, she didn't really know as of yet. She would love to be here at night when she could actually see the fireworks, but she was afraid Given would be having a little too much stimulation at that point. Maybe she could come back with Tobi or something, he needed a little more experience as well.

Spying a tree, she wandered over to it and told Given to lay down. He did so with ease and covered his face so he could rest, and the woman sat down, leaned back against the tree, and shut her eyes as well. It was going to be a long day if she kept this up, and she didn't know if she was going to or not. Jack rested for awhile, wondering what was going to happen, the loud noises sounded like they were far away, though she knew they were fairly close by. She smiled a little, rather sleepily at that, and hoped that things would happen while she and Given were asleep. Keeping a firm grip on the reins, or at least as firm as she could at the moment, she hoped that things would work out for them in the long run. It had to, there wasn't much else of a choice.

The tree gave way a little bit, making it nice and soft for her to lean on, and soon she was asleep in the yard of the Mansion. At least it was a big yard, and if someone came by her it was going to be strange, but she supposed it would be alright. Given wouldn't go without a fight she knew, so she didn't really worry about him too much, he could handle himself. So could she, really, though she didn't have the swords with her at the moment. That was fine, she didn't need the swords really, but that was fine in and of itself she figured. Jack leaned back, hand on the Wiurn for reassurance and all that, and she didn't care what was thought about her right now. It didn't really matter, and that was fine, she didn't usually care what other people thought of her. Just Renathan.

Jack was tired, it had been a long day and that was fine, but she needed some rest and so did the Wiurn. Given slept beside her, and she eventually laid down on his wing and fell asleep listening to the fireworks going off around her. Her dreams were broken and very much nightmares about the tree crushing her, Renathan, and Auburn, but it was something she'd gotten a little used to since then. It was when it warped a little that she got a bit disturbed and finally she woke up in a cold sweat, a little colder than usual thanks to her choice of clothing. The sun was starting to set and she could see the fireworks in the air, they were lovely, and as she yawned and stretched out, her hand hit something on the ground next to her. Her eyes opened and she looked over at what it was, it was a pinwheel.

It was dark blue and dark pink and lovely, it matched the sky, and she smiled a little as she saw it. Things would be fine, they would stay a little while longer she figured with a chuckle. Given was fine and all that, still a little shaken with things, but that was fine anyway. He was fine, no matter what, she was going to keep him calm and all that. Jack pushed a hand through her hair and smiled at Given as he blearily looked over at her, he wasn't sure what to do about things just yet it seemed, and the woman didn't seem to do much for him anyway. Jack plucked the pinwheel from the ground and put it into her bag with a smile, it didn't matter what she found, as long as Given got a little experience and things were fun. It was fine no matter what, but that was okay.
