She had to make sure her animals worked as hard as she did, otherwise what was the point in it all? She gave Tobi a determined look and then marched forward a little faster, making the bird try to keep up with her with the weights on his legs as best as he could. Soon they would take another break, she was sure, but for now she needed to make sure he was following her perfectly with a little bit of speed to him to make sure he was doing what he needed to do. She nodded a little and kept her head up, wondering what was going to happen at the moment when things occurred. Maybe she just needed to give him a little break from training for awhile, but she knew that wasn't going to happen. Jack smiled a bit and shook her head, unsure of what to think of herself for the moment. At least she had something good happen to her as time went on, considering her animals were getting better and better all the time. She really needed to work with Tender, but... that would have to wait until she was done with Tobi, which was still going to be awhile she figured. All she had to do was keep things going for awhile, which was fine when all was said and done, but she wanted a nap now, and figured they would take a little nap here in just a little bit before she added more weights to the little bird. It would be nice to sit there and relax for a little while, she could feel her eyelids getting heavy just thinking about it, but that wasn't going to happen, not right now at least, and she hoped she could keep herself awake long enough to get things done. Of course she would though, but not without a little nap, and she smiled at herself a little. She didn't take a nap every day, just some days, and on Gym days it was easier to take one when she could sit down and watch Tobi or whoever she was watching for the moment, considering she really didn't have to do anything aside from encourage them. And cheer them on she did, she almost constantly talked to Tobi, making sure he was alright and telling him she was proud of him. It might not get through, but her tone of voice would and that's all she cared about at the moment. If they shared a Ribbon it would be easier, but she knew that wasn't going to happen at the moment, which was fine. Jack pushed her hair back as they rounded another pole, Tobi trailing behind her a little bit. At least he was doing his best, that's all she could ask of a little bird after all.

Settling down onto the table again, Jack rested her head on her arms with a yawn and closed her eyes, Tobi flying over to rest with her for a little bit. He took a big drink of water and then tucked his beak under his wing, signaling that he was sleeping for now. Jack sleepily opened one eye, gave a little smile, and then fell asleep for a little while. She didn't know how long they slept, just that it was getting dark by the time they both woke up and Tobi had a nice long break from working on his stamina. Things were looking up, he had a new wind to him, and she figured that would work just fine considering she needed to add the back weights to him at this point. Jack pushed her hair back a little bit with a smile and patted Tobi on the head before she stretched her shoulders out a little bit, a little sore from the way she had been laying down for a little while. She smiled though, she was pleased that things were going well for them, and she knew it was only a matter of time before he was finished and all would be well. Jack took the back weights and strapped them onto Tobi's back, slinging them over his wings and making him puff up a little bit at this point. He didn't mind it, he just was always surprised when things happened to him like that. The weight of the weights was a little unsettling, making him not too happy about things as of yet, but that was fine. Jack patted him on the head again, sat him on the floor of the Gym, and started him off walking again, raising his stamina a little. Things would go well for them now that they were going pretty well, and she was sure that things would work out between them in the end no matter what. Jack just hoped that things wouldn't be awkward whenever he reached his full potential, and she wondered when and what that would be at this point. Giving a little shrug, she pushed off of the table and then settled into her walking routine, making sure to keep an eye on Tobi to make sure he wasn't lagging behind or anything. That just wouldn't do, and she knew it, but that was fine at the same time. Part of her wondered what to do at the moment, other than walking and all that, but it was the only thing she could think of right now, which was fine all the same as well. At least she had something to do other than wallow in her own thoughts, the walking helped her out and helped her leg out some. Even though it was better, that didn't mean it was perfect.

All Jack had to do was walk with the bird a little bit and things would work out between them. Jack knew she needed to push him a little as he walked, and so she sped up a little as he struggled under the weights on him at the moment. That was fine, it was getting him figured out, he was adding up his stamina a little bit and all would be well. Without a doubt, the woman knew this was going to help him in the long run, she just hoped to figure out what was going on with him at the moment. At least he was trying, that was better than nothing, though she wondered what was going to happen if he gave up. She wouldn't let him, of course, but that wasn't the point right now she figured with a little smile on her face as she walked. Tobi struggled to keep up with her, going as fast as his little legs could carry him, and he knew the woman was just trying to push him to be the best he could be at this point, but it still felt a little odd at the same time. He wished he could just be better without the effort, but that wasn't going to happen or anything he figured, it was going to work out no matter what, he just needed to focus at the moment. Jack pushed a hand through her hair and smiled down at him, wondering what he was thinking. Maybe things would be better no matter what, and she smiled a little at the thought. No matter what, all she had to do was push him and he would do much better than usual, and she hoped that would come across in his fights. Sure he couldn't take a full attack no matter what, but it would be nice to get this done anyway, any little bit helped at this point. All she had to do was push him a little harder, a little longer, and then things would be fine at the same time. Maybe he wasn't understanding what she was doing, but she hoped he did. It only made sense for them to get things done the best that they could when it came to training, or else what would the point be at the moment? She wanted him to be the best Jibiji he could be, and if that meant training him at the Gym and the Park, well, that's what she was going to do, that's what she had been doing at the moment. That was fine, she could get it all figured out and all that, but she wasn't sure what else to convince herself of at the moment. Jack frowned a little, a lot of her thoughts were sounding the same, that wasn't good.

All she had to do was keep him going at the moment, and she knew that was going to get harder and harder. He hated to walk, which wasn't a big deal until she kept making him walk. She knew he would prefer to fly, but she didn't want him to do that just yet, wait a little while until his stamina started to increase a bit and then work him flying toward the end, just in case. It was the best strategy she had at the moment, which was fine by both of them. As long as it produced the desired results, then she didn't think it was going to be an issue. It was good though, she figured, that he was so determined to do better than he already was, she didn't think it would go well to do anything else at this point. Maybe she just needed to trust him when it came to training, but she didn't trust much at the same time. There wasn't much sense in trusting more than herself, and maybe Renathan at the same time, though she wondered if he felt the same way about her right now. Of course they'd already shared something, that was good, and she wasn't sure what she wanted to do with life at the moment. It was hard enough to figure things out on her own, it just didn't make sense to do it with someone else right now. Giving a little sigh, she realized she was over thinking things and smiled down at Tobi who was struggling to keep up with her at the moment. At least she could lean on him a little as she walked, mentally of course, and talk to him if she needed someone to help her out. Since they didn't share a Ribbon, it wasn't like she could understand any advice he gave to her at the moment, which was fine at the same time. She didn't want advice, she just wanted to talk sometimes, and talk she did about anything and everything, occasionally the bird chirped a response, but mostly he listened sympathetically to her as they walked and chatted. He knew it was important for her to get things off of her chest from time to time, though he didn't understand most of what she said, of course. If she inadvertently gave a command, she didn't realize it, and he did it quickly before she had the chance to get cross with him. At least there was something, she figured with a little sigh, and the woman pushed her hair back a little to try and get it out of her eyes. Maybe once they were done in the Gym she would get a haircut if she could find somewhere that was open, it was getting kind of dark, after all.

Whatever happened, at least they were working toward a goal and not just flitting around from place to place getting everything done in a weird order, and maybe not even getting things done at that. Jack sighed a little and glanced down at Tobi who was picking up the pace just a little bit at this point, though she didn't know how long he would be able to keep it up. That was the point of this training though, she knew it and he knew it, and she wondered what was going to happen when time got away from her. It was already getting away from her, but she knew they were on the downswing of training, that had to count for something she supposed. Jack smiled a little and shook her head, a little unsure of what she was going to do for the moment, which was fine at the same time. All she had to do was worry about getting this done, and worry she would, really, when it all came down to it. It didn't matter what was going on, just that she was getting things done with the little bird at the same time. She just hoped it would actually help him out in the long run, that was the most impressive part of it all at this point. Jack frowned a little and shook her head, her thoughts were going off on tangents again and it didn't do her any good to think like that. While she wasn't sure what to do, at least things were getting to be fine at this point. Jack pushed back her hair again with a little frown, she really needed to get it cut, but she needed to focus on the Jibiji first and all that. Smiling, she walked around one of the poles, leaning against it for a moment as she waited for Tobi to reach her. He did, panting, but she urged him to go on at the same time. At least it had something better to do for things at the moment, she supposed. Whatever the case, at least she was focused on what she was supposed to do, getting Tobi better and better as time went on and all that. He was a sure winner of at least a few fights, if not the tournament, though she didn't know what else to do at the moment. It wasn't like she could figure it all out right now and be done with it, though she hoped that would be the case at the same time. As long as she kept doing what she was doing, things would be fine she figured with a little smile on her face. At least she hoped it would make sense in the coming year or so of his training, though he was almost done with her list.

Without a doubt, he was getting better, and she was getting a little better too. She was more focused on the bird than herself, however, which is what a good trainer should do anyway, but it was better than nothing at the moment, she figured with a little smile on her face. They were getting close to being done, just a few more laps and she would have him fly for awhile. It was good to have him do other things than just walk, she figured with a smile, and she shook her head a little as she waited to see what she was going to do with him for the moment. At least she had some idea of what to do, after this they would rest for the night and then get back to normal training, she figured with a slight nod. Jack just knew it was going to be an issue for things to get done in the time frame she was allowed at the moment, especially considering she needed to take care of all of her animals, she was surprised she had any free time to do this kind of thing at all! Giving a little laugh, the woman pushed herself and the bird a little faster so they could get done a little quicker. She had a time she wanted to be done by, and she was sure they could do it no matter what, and she smiled a little as she thought about it a little bit. All Jack could do was move along around the poles just like Tobi was doing, and she hoped that he was getting quite a bit out of this like she hoped he was at the moment. She just didn't know though, and that was the worst part of it all she figured. Giving a little frown, she realized she didn't care what happened, as long as he could better himself at the moment and all that. It was going to be great for now, she figured, and the woman smiled a little as things went along for the moment. All she had to do was figure out what to do for things at the moment, and that was going to be fine for now. She just needed to press him a little harder to get things done and then things would be perfect, or at least she hoped they would be at the moment. Ah well, it didn't really matter, she had plenty of time to get things done for now, she figured with a little smile on her face. It wasn't like she could speed up time or anything, could she? Shaking her head, she realized it was a futile move on her part, and she wondered what she was going to do at the same time as all of this.

Stretching out, she decided it was time to take another break before she had him fly around the poles this time. Jack settled down at the table again, Tobi on top of the table to get a drink and rest for a little while. It was good to take breaks from time to time, of course, and that was the point of all of this. If she pushed him too hard he would hurt himself, and she would never forgive herself if he got hurt because of her. Things would be different when she went to train Tender, of course, she needed to learn how to shift her bones around, but with Tobi, that was different she figured. Jack pushed her hair back and sighed a little, she liked training, she really did, but she didn't like Gym training as much, it really took things out of both her and her animals, which didn't help much at the same time. Jack sighed a little again and shook her head, a little unsure of what she should be doing right now, other than trying to get Tobi to fly, but she wanted to let him rest for a little while longer at that, she figured. Right now she needed to focus on getting him better and better, but that was fine at the same time. Giving him a little smile of encouragement, she pushed off from the table and started walking again, giving him the command he'd been waiting for, for a little while at this point. He took off from the table and started to fly around the poles, he could fly faster than she could walk, but he still tried to figure out how to slow down a little for her to go with him. Jack chuckled and shook her head, telling him not to worry about her, just to worry about himself at the moment, but she didn't know if it would get through to him or anything at this point. Shrugging her shoulders to pop them a little, the woman watched as Tobi flew through the air, getting stronger and lasting longer and longer as time went on. It was harder on him to fly with the weights than it was to walk, and she figured that was the point of the whole thing as well. Jack chewed on her lip a little, it didn't matter what happened, as long as he got better than he originally was of course. Not that he wasn't amazing as it was, but that was fine as well she figured with a little nod to herself at the moment. She had plenty of things to do, but she needed to make sure time went well at the same time. Jack listened to herself think for a little while, unsure of what to do.

As Tobi flew, she knew he was getting tired, he was slowing down a bit but still pushing as hard as he could. Jack was proud of him so far though, he was doing pretty good with everything that was asked of him, which worked out great for her. She just really hoped all of this wasn't going to be in vain, which would be the worst of it all at this point. She sighed a little and shook her head, it would work, and he would be great in the tournament, though she hoped that others would enter as well, not just her at this point. It wouldn't be much fun if it was just her, after all. Jack sighed again and stretched out her shoulders, chewing her lip as she did so, she wasn't sure what to do about things right now, and that was perfectly fine for the moment, but she really wished that things would work out between the two of them and the fights that were going to be had in the Pit. All she could do was hope that things were for the best and all that. The best would be had, and she hoped he would win of course, but she didn't know if things were going to work out in their favor. It was highly possible things were going to work out against them, and that was fine! All she could do was hope, and that's all she needed to do right now of course. Jack smiled a little at Tobi as he flew past her while she walked, though he was starting to slow down a little bit more. At least he was still in the air, she had to give him that much at least, and the woman smiled again when she realized he was pushing himself more for himself than for anything else at the moment. That made her even prouder of him than she already was. At least things were going to be fine no matter what, and she knew he would push himself no matter what happened, even if she was out of it or sick or something. Maybe this was a good thing, maybe it was a bad thing, but things were moving in a way she couldn't change, and she was somewhat proud of that at the moment. Jack pushed her hair back and smiled again, sure that things were going to go her way. Not that it really mattered at this point, but that was fine at the same time. All she needed to do was cheer him on at this point and all would be well. She just hoped nothing bad was going to happen at the same time, though she knew that was a long shot as well at this point in time.

With everything that was going on right now, she was pleased with the little bird anyway. At least he was trying his hardest, and if she couldn't be happy for him with that, then she didn't know what to do for him at the moment. Oh well, Jack knew that he was trying, and that was all she could ask for at this point, which was perfectly fine, all things considered. She just had to cheer him on and keep him going at the same time, it wasn't like she needed to sit down a lot anyway, all this walking was good for her heart as well as everything else at this point. Jack pushed a hand through her hair with a sigh, they were almost done, just a little while longer and then they could go home and rest, which was the best part of the day at this point. Not sure of what was going to happen during the fights, she could only hope things were going to go well no matter what and all that, and she was sure things would work out eventually. Giving Tobi and encouraging smile and a few words, she wondered what was going to happen if he got beat time and again. At least it was going to give him experience and all that, and she wondered what was going to happen no matter what. All she could do was figure out what was going to happen during the training and all that. Jack just hoped that things were going to work out no matter what and all that, and she decided it was time to keep going no matter what. She just wanted to be done with this, and they would take a little break before they left for the night, just to make sure things had taken effect in the little bird at the same time. As long as things were going to be fine for her, then things no matter what and all that would be fine. Jack sighed a little as they both went around the poles time and time again, she was done with this and it was fine if she was, she just needed to make sure the bird wasn't finished just yet. She knew it was only a matter of time before he spent the last of his energy and all that. Jack wasn't sure what was going to happen to him, and that was fine, but she needed to make sure he would be alright in the end of it all and all that. Pushing her hair back again with a little grin, the woman walked around the poles again and again while the bird flew around them, weighted down by the weights she had put on him, and then wondered if maybe she was being too mean about things.

Jack had everything to go for at the moment, but she still felt a little weird inside when all was said and done. She sighed a little as she rounded the corner, Tobi flying beside her at the moment. He was wearing out, she knew it, but she had to push him a little harder to get things figured out, and then they would rest for awhile before heading home. He was slacking pretty hard though, she knew, and she knew it was only a matter of time before he just dropped down at this point. Chewing her lip a little, she didn't know what was going to happen when that happened, and that was fine at the same time. He wouldn't get too hurt, she could catch him before he hit the floor and all that, but still it was going to be a little while before that happened. He was certainly slowing down and getting a little erratic in his flying, so she knew it was going to be soon that he dropped from the air. Jack sighed a little and reached out for him as he passed her, his eyes glazed over a little as he went. It was going to happen soon, but she had to make sure he flew for just a little while longer and then things would be fine. She just had to make sure he kept going for a little while and then everything would work out no matter what. Jack smiled a little at him and then shook her head a little when he dropped a little bit, unsure of what to do and how to handle this at the moment. At least he was trying, she had to give him that much she supposed, and she knew he was stopping for a little water every now and then as well, which she was fine with at the moment. As long as he kept getting up and going again, she was fine with the occasional breaks and everything. Jack wasn't sure what to expect from her and all that, but that was fine at the same time, she just hoped that things would work out between them and for the tournament eventually. That was the good part, the bad part was that things were going to get ugly for awhile after he was finished, she didn't know what condition he was going to be in tomorrow, that was the worst part, because she needed him to work some more before things kept going with his training. She didn't want him completely worn out, just a little tired and that would be fine for her at the moment. Jack pushed her hair back, a little unsure of things right now, and not sure what was going to be good for him when things were fine.

Tobi faltered midair and the woman plucked him from the sky. He huffed and puffed in her hands as she carried him over to the table so he could rest and take a little drink. While he was incredibly thirsty, he knew it was a bad idea to gorge himself on the water, and only took little sips at this point. She smiled at him a little, patting him on the head for a job well done, she was ready to be done with all of this too, but they both needed to rest for a bit if they were going to walk home. Of course she could always summon Kro to her at this point, but where was the fun in that? Already her legs were a little sore, which was fine all things considered, and she didn't care what was going to happen at the moment no matter what. At least the little bird seemed to be better at the same time, and she smiled a little as she thought about it all the same. No matter what, at least he had a fighting chance to do some damage in the Pit no matter what happened and all that. Jack pushed her hair back, again swearing to herself that she would manage to get a haircut one of these days, and then shook it out a little again. At the very least she knew that the bird was going to be better than ever, and she was proud of him no matter what. All she could do now was carry him home, though maybe it would be easier for him to fly when she got the weights off of him, which she did once she thought of it, though how she had forgotten it was foreign to her at the moment. Jack smiled a little and shook her head as she picked up the items she had brought with them and then picked up the little bird. At least things were going to be good after all this, and she hoped that she had some idea of what to do at the moment. All she had to do was carry everything home and then things would be fine! Of course they had to check out first and all that, but that didn't take much time, just a small physical to make sure the bird had actually improved upon himself at this point. There was no doubt in her mind that he would pass, however, and that was good for her! Jack just hoped this wouldn't have been in vain, and she smiled a little as things happened for a little while, unsure of what to do as time went on. No matter, at least they were finally done, they could do more fun stuff now for a little while before coming back.

Smiling, she led Crystal into her area and began to set up the pitching machine. Sure, Crystal didn't necessarily know how to dodge, but she would get it after a little while, she was sure of it. Giving a little chuckle, she looked at the Equillion and then back at the machine before giving a little nod. They were ready, but she wasn't sure she wanted to do this just yet... She didn't have much of a choice though, and she sighed before cracking her fingers and nodding, turning on the machine and letting a ball fly at the Pure. Crystal gasped in their heads as she ball hit her on the side of the neck, and she glared at the woman for a moment before eyeing the machine, trying to figure out what it was doing. It was going to be difficult, but Jack had heard it was a little easier to get an animal to increase their abliities lately, which was definitely a good thing. The pitching machine let loose another ball and it hit her on the side again, roughly the same spot as before, and Crystal whinnied and stamped her foot, upset by this turn of events. She wasn't sure what was happening, but she knew she didn't like it, Jack just hoped this would get her to understand what was going on after a little while. Chewing on her lip, she hoped that it was going to work out, but she had an idea it might not in the long run. Oh well, it didn't really matter, she knew. Jack looked at Crystal and told her, "You need to get out of the way of the tennis balls that's throwing, it's the only way you're going to get out of here unfortunately."

Crystal was lighter on her hooves than a Sarane was at least, which was to her advantage, but she wasn't sure what else to do with her other than this. She was a Pure, Pures weren't necessarily the best of fighters, and she wouldn't really be able to take a hit all that well. Jack chewed on her lip as another ball hit the Equillion on the side, she wasn't sure what to expect from her as she tried to dance out of the way after the hit occurred, but it was worth it in the end. She was a good trainer, if she said so herself, and she smiled a little at the same time. This was going to go well, she knew it would, and the woman chewed her lip bloody for a moment and swore. This would work, though she wasn't too intent on winning, just putting up a fight this time.

Another ball launched and she tried scrambling out of the way, only getting hit on the haunch this time. At least she seemed to be getting it, but it was going to take a little while for her to get things done. As she wondered what to do with her, Crystal looked over at the woman with bright eyes, she was pleased she hadn't gotten hit on the same spot as last time, which was definitely a step in the right direction, she figured with a chuckle. Jack watched her and nodded, pouring some water into a trough so she could take a drink when she needed to, but the woman wasn't going to turn off the machine and told her as much at the same time. This was going to be easy enough, she figured, but Crystal told her she wasn't going to need to take a drink at all, or if she did, it would just be a quick one.
