Things were going well for her as the storm went on outside, and she wondered if the rain dropping on the river was making the fish think it was food. That was probably it she thought as she cast the line in again, leaning back on Ember some more and cuddling down against her. It was lovely being in the cave with the Draconic, and she hoped that things wouldn't change in the future, that they could keep doing this as time went on. Jack wasn't sure what to expect from things at the moment, but that was alright she thought as she watched her bobber in the water. It wasn't like she wouldn't do anything about her future, but she liked to see where it was headed no matter what, right? Chuckling, she thought it would be fun just to let things run its course, much like the river did, and head to something much grander on its own.

Everything would be fine in the future, as long as she figured out how to take care of her nightmares. They weren't life ending, but they were certainly annoying she had to give them that much. She chuckled a little bit and shook her head, nuzzling up to Ember a little bit. Honestly, she was getting a little tired even though she was excited about catching so many fish lately, and she hoped that the Trader would take them for something good in the future. That was the point of all this fishing, to get things from the Trader eventually, and even though she was tired, she wondered what was going to be happening next. Maybe she could rest for just a little bit and everything would be alright, but she seriously doubted that would be fine in the long run. Jack laughed at herself and glanced over at Ember who had fallen asleep. Some companion sometimes...

She laughed a little and Ember twitched a bit in her sleep, the stormed had lulled her enough to where she could sleep it seemed. This was good she thought as she cast the line again, nothing had bitten yet, but that was fine, she just slowly reeled in every now and then to see if that might help her catch anything. Of course it helped though, which was a good thing, and the woman smiled a little as she wondered what she would manage to fish up next. It was a good thing she had so much to do at the moment she thought, she didn't know what else to do right now aside from fishing, but there was a lot on her plate it seemed. Jack yawned a little and then pulled her line in as the bobber disappeared, a blue and green fish appearing on the end of it. She smiled, at least she was getting something.

The day is a lazy one, it would seem. There are no fish around right now, at least not any close, but maybe we'll see what the rushing waters bring next?
