Species Name: Wiurn v1 - EXTINCT Species Number: 1 Pronunciation: Whee-Urn Breeds Available: Mistletoe, Holly, Dark, Light, Natural, Royal VSC Breeds: None Feral Breeds: None Super-Rare Breeds: Candystripe Stats: Here Species StandardsPreferred Habitat: Tend to nest in "cliff regions" of the world, temperatures vary - any environment except tundra and polar regions. Diet: Strictly carnivorous - eats larger animals, such as deer, sheep, or cattle. Call: These creatures can make a range of noises that include "hisses" (happy), "growls" (angry), "grunts" (annoyed or upset), and the most impressive call is a loud cry that could remind one of a trumpet mixed with a violin (this is similar to a bark - reason for the noise is unknown at this time). Special Care Needs: Their scales tend to loose their luster over time, get dry and crack - one should apply oils every once in a while to prevent discomfort to the creature. Be cautious - as these animals are extremely poisonous! Their stinger can inject a lethal toxin that is designed for killing large animals. Flight for this animal is difficult, but possible. It's wing structure causes it to fly like a bat (meaning it cannot glide, it has to constantly flap it's wings or it will fall to the ground) and thus flight takes a lot of work... If you wish to teach your creature to carry a rider while in flight, it will take a lot of special training (and a special saddle). Their wing membranes can dry and crack easily, so rubbing them with oils on a frequent basis will help with flight. Biology and Anatomy: The Wiurn are cold-blooded creatures that need to monitor their body-temperatures by warming up in the sun, or staying cool in the shade. Their scales are nearly rock-hard, and their talons sharp. Though they have sharp teeth, their jaws do not open very wide at all - no more widely than a horse's, it would seem. Their "head-plate" is a super-thick fingernail-like deposit on the top of it's head, forming a hard and sturdy ridge. This ridge is used to protect the creatures head, as well as displays and social interactions. The beasts' tail blade is generally extremely poisonous - a single sting can bring down a creature the size of a cow. These creatures lack front-limbs, and generally walk along the ground (or up cliffs) like a bat. Behavioral Study: Because it lacks larger talons and teeth for bringing down prey, and uses a strategy similar to a falcon and viper mixed together for hunting... It swoops down from the sky and makes a single stroke with it's tail, then waits until the animal dies (or is too weak to struggle) to go in for the meal. When fighting with another of it's own kind, it usually doesn't use claws, or tail-sting.. instead, they bash their heads together (similar to rams) in a display of strength - after all, that's what the hard "face plate" is for. If you can get such a creature to trust you to the point where it would rather "nudge" you with it's head rather than "sting" you with it's tail, consider yourself to have a very loyal animal. Suggested Uses: It is not suggested that this creature be kept as an average pet (though it is possible)... They can be used as flying mounts (though they aren't the greatest flyers when carrying a rider)... They can be very easily used to take down cavalry (mounted horses) in battle... They can be used to guard things - such as castles or larger plots of property (that have enough game or meat to sustain the creature when full grown)... The greatest suggestion of course, would be a combination of all of the above... Who wouldn't want a loyal pet and companion to guard your plot of land in a time of peace, then fly you into battle and take down your enemies horses..? Well... Perhaps a lot of people wouldn't like that, but it's what's suggested. Breeds:Mistletoe and Holly: Aside from their special coloring, the Mistletoe and Holly breeds were not truly unique in any way from the standards of the Wiurn species. Mistletoe and Holly were special critters that were only available just before the 25th of 2005. We're terribly sorry if you didn't get the chance to adopt one of their eggs on time, but we only engineered a few of these special "holiday" colors. Natural: The Natural breed of the Wiurn species is what one would call the "standard". It has no lustrous coloring, nor is it unique in any way. One can assume that the Natural breed will be the one to last the longest, as less people seem to want them. Light: The Light breed was imbued with the elemental energy of light upon it's creation, and thus is more resilient to it. Who knows if it will learn any more special abilities having to do with the light in the future, for all we know, it may spit sun-beams! (but that's rather unlikely, isn't it?) Dark: The Dark breed is just the opposite of the Light breed, in that it was imbued with the elemental energy of darkness upon it's creation, thus making it more resilient to it. Also, like it's Light sibling, it's future abilities are as of yet unknown. Royal: The Royal breed of Wiurn was created to suit kings. It is far more "tough" than it's kin - it can fly faster and with more agility, it can carry more weight, and it can last longer in the air and travel farther. If one were to seek the "ultimate" flying mount, then Royal would be your best bet. Unfortunately, because of these attributes, they were quickly adopted out. We're sorry if you missed your chance to adopt one Candystripe: Was only available for purchase for a short time during December of 2008.

Species Name: Wiurn v.2 Species Number: 1 Pronunciation: Whee-Urn Breeds Available: Amber LE Breeds: Crag, Cloud, Warlord VSC Breeds: Wavebreak, Shadowlord, Odin-son Feral Breeds: None Super-Rare Breeds: Minty, Thorn Stats: HereSpecies StandardsPreferred Habitat: Tend to nest in "cliff regions" of the world, temperatures vary — any environment except tundra and polar regions. Diet: Strictly carnivorous — eats larger animals, such as deer, sheep, or cattle. Call: These creatures can make a range of noises that include "hisses" (happy), "growls" (angry), "grunts" (annoyed or upset), and the most impressive call is a loud cry that could remind one of a trumpet mixed with a violin (this is similar to a bark — reason for the noise is unknown at this time). Special Care Needs: Their scales tend to loose their luster over time, get dry and crack — one should apply oils every once in a while to prevent discomfort to the creature. Be cautious, as these animals are extremely poisonous! Their stinger can inject a lethal toxin that is designed for killing large animals. Biology and Anatomy: The Wiurn are cold-blooded creatures that need to monitor their body temperatures by warming up in the sun, or staying cool in the shade. Their scales are nearly rock-hard, and their talons sharp. Their "head-plate" is a super-thick fingernail-like deposit on the top of their head, forming a hard and sturdy ridge, which ends up forming to a hard horn-like point at the back of their head. A thin "sail" membrane stretches from the horn to the nape of the neck to help with flight, something the v.1 Wiurns lack — and allows the v.2 Wiurn to be much more agile in the air. The beasts' stinger is generally extremely poisonous — a single sting can bring down a creature the size of a cow. These creatures lack front limbs, and generally walk along the ground (or up cliffs) like a bat. Behavioral Study: Even though the Wiurn v.2 has the ability to open its jaw much further than the v.1 Wiurn, it still uses the same hunting habits, and uses a strategy similar to a falcon and viper mixed together for hunting. It swoops down from the sky and makes a single stroke with its tail, then waits until the animal dies (or is too weak to struggle) to go in for the meal. When fighting with another of its own kind, it usually doesn't use claws or tail-sting. Instead, they bash their heads together (similar to rams) in a display of strength — after all, that's what the hard "face plate" is for. If you can get such a creature to trust you to the point where it would rather "nudge" you with its head rather than "sting" you with its tail, consider yourself to have a very loyal animal. Suggested Uses: These creatures were designed to be flying mounts — a little less efficient at fighting than their older cousins, they make up for it in their superior flight, rivaling the Gallor in skill and grace. Breeds:Amber: The Amber is the "standard" breed of Wiurn v.2. Its color is nothing "common" however – for its scales glitter and gleam in the light like... well, amber. Cloud: The Cloud is the "new" Royal to some – to others, it's the "new" Light... this is greatly debatable. They're light-tempered creatures, certainly found to be the easiest in comparison to train – and the quickest to provide affection. Crag: The Crag is a simple creature (though not stupid). They tend to not become violent unless needed – but when they do, their fury is (almost) unmatched... save for the Warlord. Their scales are much harder than any of the other breeds, and do not require oiling. Warlord: Warlord is the only breed designed for holding up in a fight. They have very fiery personalities and tempers, and are the quickest to make use of their stinger – so be cautious when training them. It would be best to train them when they're small enough to handle. Shadow Lord: The Shadow Lords are frightening Wiurn – and said to be the most intelligent of Wiurn, which is even more of a frightening thought, considering Wiurn are designed to be rather "dull" creatures. Wavebreak: The Wavebreak lives exclusively along the cliffed shores of the oceans. They only eat fish – and can dive into the water to catch them (or Neptica) right from the sky. They can also "fly" underwater... but at a young age, it's best to monitor them – they can't swim forever, and they can't breathe water. Odin-Son: No information available at the moment. Minty: Was only available for purchase for a short time during December of 2008. Thorn: The rare and deadly toxic creature known as "Thorn" is only available as an Arena prize for masters of the battleground. Even though these beasts — akin to the Warlord — have a training requirement, they already come pre-trained with some basic abilities, like how to carry a rider.

Species Name: Chiryma v1 - EXTINCT Species Number: 2 Pronunciation: Cheer-E-Muh (as in "mud") Breeds Available: Autumn, Spring, Summer, Winter, Heaven, Earth VSC Breeds: Powdersnow, Midnight, Sparrow Feral Breeds: Man-Eating Super-Rare Breeds: None Stats: HereSpecies StandardsPreferred Habitat: Varies by breed - In general however, Chiryma prefer large open areas with lots of room to run. For more specific information, please seek below in "breed differences". Diet: When Babies and Juveniles, they namely eat fruits, vegetables, and grains - and will occasionally add a small insect, lizard (or other tiny creature) into the diet for protein. As adults however, they are complete omnivores, eating any plant worth eating, or any animal that might be edible. Call: The most common call of this creature, is during it's baby stage when it's only sound is a simple little "peep". As it grows older, this same sound will deepen, and become a little more varied, making a sound that could best be described as a "brock" noise. Again, this is the most common noise, and variations of it are used for every sort of emotion.. one must be truly bonded to the creature to tell the minor differences that make for "happy" from "sad" (and other various emotions). Rumor has it that there are several "mental" calls, which can be heard with the mind, rather than the ear... but there is no scientific evidence for this (yet). Special Care Needs: These creatures are VERY emotionally needy... They're very social creatures, and have very strong bonds with their families. If it is bonded with you, then you need to spend LOTS of time, care, and attention on it, or it may become depressed. It may often pester you for attention - which should be given to it. Their antennae are extremely sensitive, and the most delicate part of their body.. be careful, for if these are damaged, the shock alone may kill the creature. Biology and Anatomy: Though their wings are too small for them to ever consider flight, these creatures still have feathers. Their feathers are long and thin, almost resembling fur. They appear "pokey" at first look, but at first touch they're rather quite soft. Their antennae are things of a curious nature, which have been studied for years - honestly, they're like literal "brain wave" antennae, taking in all mental and/or psychic information, giving them not only social benefits - but also helping to protect them from danger, and being able to (to a older and more experienced chiryma) detect prey. Their legs are extremely thick and strong - they are creatures designed to be standing, walking, and running all day. Behavioral Study: Designed to be one of the most empathetic creatures in the world, they can read behaviors and intents like a book. They are difficult to hunt, as they can sense the "bad intent" of the predator, even before they hear or see it. In the wild, they run in large family groups (of up to 40), and have very intricate social bonds with all of their group members. In captivity, this bond (of up to 40) is not shared equally, but focused on one individual (the owner), and thus - there is a VERY strong connection. Future studies will be made, to see if these creatures can actually detect thought images from their owners. Suggested Uses: The main use for this creature, is to serve as an extremely loyal mount. When it is an adult, it will gladly carry it's bonded rider, without hardly a lick of training. If one is seeking a companion for life (especially on the road), then this is certainly the creature for you. Breeds:Summer: The Summer breed prefers "jungle" and tropical regions (hot and humid) of the world - and is the only Chiryma to be seen in dense forests. Because of all the dangers within' their jungle homes, they develop a more keen danger sense than the rest of the chiryma. Autumn: The Autumn breed prefers the desert and more arid regions of the world, and can go quite a while without the need of water. For some reason (perhaps the vibrancy of the eggs), the Autumn breed was snatched up so quickly by guests that by the time they hatched, all of them were gone! If you're one of the lucky few that managed to get one, then congratulations. Thankfully, the owner of MML managed to keep one as well. Winter: The Winter breed prefers the colder regions of the world - because of this, as it grows older, it's feathers should become more "thick" to keep it warm. Spring: The Spring breed is the most varied of them all, as it is really designed for temperate regions, though it prefers the warmer times of the year (as most creatures do). As the second most popular Chiryma breed, the Spring were all adopted out by June 1st in 2006, we're sorry if you missed your chance to adopt one. Heaven: The heaven breed was a chiryma designed more for "war mount"... Although perhaps not "big and bad", they are certainly worthy of being saddled up and ridden by holy soldiers when older.. I wonder why..? Sadly, due to their name, and general popularity, this breed was all adopted out upon hatching! This breed also seems to carry about it a "regal air" - and is more "aloof" than it's other chiryma brethren (although, it's just as loyal and empathetic to it's owner!)... Perhaps there chiryma, in the wild, would be the "leaders of the pack"..? Earth: The earth breed was simply designed because there weren't enough chiryma in the world! The Earth breed is the "commoner's chiryma", which everybody and their kid seems to want to own and raise. Quite easy to get a-hold of, many children are raised along-side these creatures, so when they become of age (around 9 years), they may begin riding the creature, now ready to be broken in as a mount... Quite the opposite of the "prestige" Heaven chiryma, the earth chiryma seems to lack all "aloofness" of it's heaven counterpart. Powder-Snow: is a special breed of Chiryma, in that they are completely albino, pink eyes and everything! A certain beauty for anyone who wishes to pet pure-white feathers. Midnight: is a rather beautiful example of the Chiryma species as well. Their feathers are almost pure black, with hints of deep purple highlighting their tails. Even their beaks and feet are darker in color! Their bright green eyes give a stark contrast to their dark feathers too, and they are the only Chiryma with eyes that are not blue (aside from Powder-Snow that is)... Man-Eating: Found in open grasslands... and rather aggressive.

Species Name: Chiryma v.2 Species Number: 2 Pronunciation: Cheer-E-Muh (as in "mud") Breeds Available: Hamada, Mesic, Prairie, Domestic VSC Breeds: Tropical Feral Breeds: None Super-Rare Breeds: None Stats: HereSpecies StandardsPreferred Habitat: Varies by breed - In general however, Chiryma prefer large open areas with lots of room to run. Unlike their previous cousins, the v.2 Chiryma has also (in it's older stages) mastered a terrifying screech-roar sound, known only to those who have heard it. The best it can be compared to, is the hunting-call of the dash-claw. Luckily, hearing this sound is extremely rare. Also - like their previous cousins, the chiryma v.2 are very good empaths, and it is said that they can communicate quite easily via their antennae. Special Care Needs: Though these creatures are rather social like their previous cousins, they are much less needy. Their family groups are generally a lot smaller - and as such, they prefer to make one strong bond with a single person, rather than need a bond with dozens of companions to keep them happy. Luckily (though it takes out some "cute" factor), their antennae are hidden inside a hard horn-like casing, which helps to protect them from damage. Biology and Anatomy: Their antennae are things of a curious nature, they're like literal "brain wave" antennae, taking in all mental and/or psychic information, giving them not only social benefits - but also helping to protect them from danger, and being able to (to a older and more experienced chiryma) detect prey. They're much smaller than their other chiryma cousins - and much more agile. Their cousins may be built more for long-distance endurance travel, but the chiryma v.2 are sprinters. As babies, their bodies (including their horns) are covered in a thick downy fuzz to help keep them protected and warm. Behavioral Study: Their empathy is strong (just as with their cousins), but it is much more "dumbed down" - and honed into a specific purpose. Where-as the previous Chiryma were more prey animals until they reached their full potential - the Chiryma v.2 are more predatory, preferring to use their empathy to locate prey, rather than sense danger and communicate with the pack (though they still can). Their social groups are also much smaller. They usually consist of a single dominant female, led by 1-3 males, and of course, her offspring. It's not uncommon for a (large) group of Chiryma v.2 to be no more than 5 individuals. It is also not uncommon for a Chiryma v.2 to be living by itself. Suggested Uses: The main use for this creature, is to serve as an extremely loyal mount. When it is an adult, it will glady carry it's bonded rider. If one is seeking a companion for life (especially on the road), then this is certainly the creature for you. Breeds:Hamada: The Hamada is more designed for arid regions of the world. It can survive much longer without water, and has less of a need for food. As such, they are usually smaller in frame, and can easily loose heat (but have a hard time retaining it). During the freezing nights of the desert, they often hide themselves within' burrows that they may be lucky enough to find. Mesic: The Mesic means almost literally "moist". These Chiryma v.2 are designed to live in places where there is enough water to survive.. Some can live in jungles, but most are happy to live in your every-day green-leaved forests. They don't do well in arid landscapes, and of all the Chiryma v.2, they're the breed that happily will find shelter amongst the trees, rather than in the open. Prairie: The Prairie breed is your "standard" of the Chiryma breeds. It lives out in the open, and will keep the largest family groups of all the breeds known to this day - safety in numbers, after all. They are pack hunters and lovers - and can travel very large stretches at a time, though they rarely leave their home territory, which usually has a water-source nearby. Domestic: The Domestic breed was designed to match the previous Chiryma. They're generally friendly - and have a harder time surviving in the wild. They're the most needy, and pushy, and of course.. friendly. Their diet is the most varied. Be careful though, for if they are left un-attended, it's not that difficult for them to become rather feral! Tropical: The Tropical Chiryma lives in the most warm and humid environments.. and what's more - is they're easily a quarter of the size of regular Chiryma. In infancy, they're small enough to fit in the palm of your hand - and in adulthood, they are only the size of a domestic chicken.

Species Name: Golossle - EXTINCT Species Number: 3 Pronunciation: Go - Loss - uh - L (soft "L") Breeds Available: Blight, Common, Rend, Ethereal VSC Breeds: Metallic, Shimmer Feral Breeds: None Super-Rare Breeds: None Stats: HereSpecies StandardsPreferred Habitat: The Golossle prefer warm, damp locations. They don't like to be out in the open, therefore jungles and caves are good hiding places for them. Diet: Golossle seem to feast on anything that can fit in their mouth... Please read breed differences for details. Call: Seems to make a small clicking noise.. this is most likely made by the mandibles clicking together, rather than the noise coming from the throat. They have also been known to make a hissing noise, and on rare occasions, some sort of complex whistling sounds. Special Care Needs: One should be cautious of the Golossle's incredible size... These creatures strength should NOT be underestimated... Please read breed differences below. You should also be cautious as to what you say around your Golossle! For some strange reason, they appear to have the ability to comprehend human speech, and if they feel that you might not be treating them to the best of your ability... Well, please be careful. Biology and Anatomy: Missing (Has always been missing.) Behavioral Study: Even though in it's younger stages of life the Golossle was quite dumb, it's adult stage is anything but.. These creatures show sign of incredible cleverness and intelligence - and there are rumors still that they may possess psychic abilities! Suggested Uses: These bug-like creatures make splendid "battle" pets, and even "guard dogs"... The common breed is often used to carry small tents, like elephants in far away lands. Breeds AvailableBlight: The Blight breed used to be quite poisonous to the touch when frightened (as a baby and juvenile), and should have been handled with great care. Similar to a poison dart-frog, these creatures can be quite dangerous. Not only are they poisonous to the touch, but they can deliver a toxic bite, and have the strength to tear apart your flesh... Luckily though, this breed is rather cautious, and not terribly aggressive. Due to it's incredible poisons however, this breed was all adopted out. Common: The Common breed is just that... Common. Other than coloration, it seems to have no special characteristics at all. They prefer to eat rotting vegetation and.. well.. anything that moves slowly enough to catch without having to actually chase it.. which is usually plant-materials. Rend: The Rend breed is by far one of the most frightening creatures created by MML, and most likely a mistake. These creatures are completely unmatched in strength.. Just as an ant can pick up 10x it's own body weight, the Rend breed can pick up 5x it's own body weight.. it's it's quite a massive creature - I'm sure you can imagine. There is very little this thing cannot move if it has the will to do so, and it's temper is quite hot. It's bright red colorations give warning to it's abilities, and thorn-covered body... Most certainly, the Rend breed is a tank, that is perfectly capable of ripping a man in two with little effort. This breed's release has been canceled due to safety reasons, and if you own one, please return it to the proper care facility for your own safety. It should also be known that the Rend breed is strictly carnivorous, as opposed to all other Golossle breeds. Ethereal: The Ethereal breed is a special creature indeed. Upon hatching, it creates a mental (or spiritual) bond with it's "owner", and this bond seems to be the only thing keeping the creature in this world - because of this bond, the Ethereal breed is the fastest learner of the Golossle species. It's body is not physical, and can rarely be touched. A common nickname given to this breed is the "Ghost" Golossle. The Ethereal Golossle does not eat, nor does it drink. It is unknown at this time what it does feed off of (for it's not truly dead), but there are rumors that it feasts off of it's owners spiritual energy... No damage has been reported so far. Also, because of their special bond, the few Ethereal that did not have an owner present at the time of their hatching dissipated into thin air... Such a strange breed. We're terribly sorry if you missed out on getting one.

Species Name: Estharne Species Number: 4 Pronunciation: S - th - are - n Breeds Available: Black, White, Grey, Sand, Tabby, Siam VSC Breeds: Peppermint, Hellcat Feral Breeds: Feral Super-Rare Breeds: None Stats: HereSpecies StandardsPreferred Habitat: Temperate to cold forest regions, such as snowy pine forests of the northern lands... There are a few breed differences as to their particular habitats, but for the most part they're all the same. Diet: Strictly carnivorous.. Will eat any animal that is easy or small enough to catch. Call: This creature makes all the standard noises of both large and small cats, ranging from "purrs" and "hisses" to "mews" and all the way to "roars". Special Care Needs: Sadly, this creature doesn't need much from a person - as it's rather independent. Once can assume a special need would be that it is rather difficult to build up a bond of loyalty (as it is for most cats). Be cautious of their over-sized canines! Biology and Anatomy: Every feature on this massive feline is designed to help it dominate. From the massive fangs that protrude over it's front lip to the thick and heavy tail that trails behind it, these creatures have a design that leaves them ready to kill. Their senses of hearing, sight, and smell are all incredibly strong. Despite the fact that they can stand shoulder to shoulder with an average-sized man, they can stalk silently through their forest home and go un-noticed by even the cleverest of prey. If their massive bodies don't immediately take down anything they decide to pounce on, their four sets of razor sharp claws or huge fangs will do the trick. A well aimed bite from an estharne can easily go past scales, fur, or muscle and snap a bone in two. Their pelts are perfectly designed to help them blend into their environment as well as keep their temperature at a stable level. And those giant tails? Well, besides keeping their bodies or young warm on chilly nights, those tails are the only thing strong enough to twist the spine so an estharne can always land in its feet. Behavioral Study: Extremely curious creatures, they tend to be rather intelligent, and figure things out rather quickly. However, this also causes them to get into quite a bit of trouble and they often find themselves in situations that are rather difficult to get out of. Although they are independent by nature, IF a bond can be made with it's owner, it will stay with them for life. As much as one can talk about the behavior of these creatures, they WERE designed after cats, and thus - the element of chaos is placed within' them.. Imagine everything you know about your average house cat, and then make it to be the size of a tiger when full grown... Suggested Uses: It is suggested that these creatures be mostly used for the Fighting Pit, although, they can be (according to some owners) very loyal and loving pets... I personally however, disagree. Breeds:Black: There are little differences between most of the breeds of Estharne other than color - and Black is a perfect example of this. It has no special qualities to it, in comparison to it's species kin. White: The White breed is quite special, in that it can not only go to the cold forest regions of the world, but much farther. In fact, it can go as far as the tundra regions - and survive. Because of this thick coat, you may wish to groom your White Estharne more often. Grey: Grey, similar to Black, has no special breed characteristics. Because of their coloration however, the Grey breed were eventually all adopted out. Sand: The Sand breed was designed to live in the more arid regions of the world, such as deserts. It still cannot live without water, but it can tolerate the hot temperatures much more easily. The Sand breed (most likely because of it's adaptability to the warmer climates) was eventually all adopted out. Tabby: The Tabby breed also has no special breed characteristics. Siam: The Siam breed would be considered to have no special breed characteristics, except that it's mood is slightly different. All of the Siam breed seem to be more "snoodish" than the rest of it's species. Peppermint: is a big (friendly) fluffy cat-monster... Barely has any of the nasty Estharne habits.. instead, it's just pure love. They love to flop over, exposing their soft belly-fur, and getting good rubs with lots of purring involved. They also like to sleep on your bed with you, and wake you up in the morning by kneeding your tummy. Hellcat: seems to be.. the absolute of nasty as far as big cats go.. They love to stalk things.. people included.. It's highly suggested, that if you get one, you get one from a very young kitten, and raise it VERY well.. Or it may turn on you... Also, it may have some additional .. elemental powers.. You don't suppose it can breath fire, do you? Feral: Found nearly everywhere in the wilds.

Breeds:Fender: The Fender breed was the first designed, and the most common. It is well suited to it's northern forest home, and it's beautiful pelt blends in with the light filtering down through the trees, giving it particularly good stealth in the shadows. The moss beneath their feet rarely makes a noise as they stalk their prey, and their lives are fairly active; beware the Fender Estharne when hiking through the wilderness. Jabberwok: The Jabberwok breed was designed for an area slightly more north of the more common Fender breed, where it always seems to be covered in snow, save for those few days in the summer. Higher in the mountains, where dew freezes to the pines, this is where the Jabber prefers to find it's home. They are rarely found, but when they are it is usually in ice-hidden caverns on the side of a pine-covered mountain. Taro: The Taro was the third breed of Estharne v.2 created, and by far the most rare just due to the quantity of Taros produced. They have the same habits of a Fender, but they have no issues of coming south to where the leaves are more broad, and fall off during the winter. They do not however, venture so far south that the air becomes too hot for their thick fur to handle. Forge: The forge breed was made due to the popularity of the Hellcat, and the demands of local blacksmiths. Knowing now that Hellcats are usually too violent to keep as even the most savage of pets, the labs decided to "tame down" the Hellcat's charm when making the Forge breed. It has all the habits and general personality of a normal Estharne, but it has the happy ability to be immune to problems with heat.. and even fire itself. Indeed, the Forge is the best choice for not only venturing into hotter climates, but also for people who work somewhere that its hot all the time (like by a forge). Snowflakes: are special in that they're not just built for surviving in colder climates... they feed off of them. A Snowflake Estharne is bound with the element of the cold, and without it their health slowly begins to fail. You should take care to keep your Snowflake in a cool place to keep it happy and healthy. Then again, it is said that a Snowflake can protect it's owner from the dangers of the Winter. Sand: The Sand breed was one of the favorite breeds of Estharne, and so it only made sense to create more Sand breeds with v.2. However, rather than providing them to the public for adoption, the labs released well over a dozen "families" of Sand Estharne v.2 into the arid regions of the wild. Yes indeed, the Sand is perfectly at home where it is hot and dry, and they are only found in the wild. Fae: The Fae Estharne was purchased as a special pet for an individual shopkeeper. He keeps them, cares for them, and breeds them. If you want a Fae Estharne, you should head to the Nature's Bounty, and see if you can't convince him you're a good enough gardener to take one home. You should be aware that the Fae breed is an adult already, and never grows any larger or more fierce.

Species Name: Pliathor Species Number: 5 Pronunciation: Ply - uh - Thor Breeds Available: Abyss, Lake, River, Sea VSC Breeds: Goldwater, Quicksilver, Ghost Feral Breeds: Sand Super-Rare Breeds: None Stats: HereSpecies StandardsPreferred Habitat: Bodies of water.. Their breed name specifies what KIND of water-environment they prefer. The Lake and River variety are freshwater, and the Sea and Abyss variety are saltwater. Diet: Mostly fish. Unfortunately, similar to sharks, they will eat just about anything that they can swallow - be it organic or not. It is always amazing to dissect one to find the contents of it's stomach containing everything from fish bones to pieces of ancient armor to car wheels. Call: This creature makes three very distinct noises. One of which (before they get old) reminds one of a dolphin's high pitched "squee" noise, and the other (during all stages of life) would remind one of a whale... an angry whale perhaps, because this creature's "song" is not so much a pleasant one, but one that is more raspy. And no doubt the most frightening sound - can only be heard by the old Pliathor.. the mighty roar of the beast if and when is surfaces. Special Care Needs: These creatures need to be in water constantly. If they remain out of water for very long, their own body weight will crush their heart. This creature also cannot hear the pitch that a normal voice gives off, so training is difficult, if not impossible without the aid of a "captain's whistle". Biology and Anatomy: Using their long, snakelike bodies, they can swim easily through their preferred habitats, staying underwater for incredibly long amounts of time, only emerging for air once every hour or two. The fins along their bodies help aid their propulsion through the water, but due to their small size in comparison to the rest of the body, the tail does much of the work, and they swim much like a common sea snake. The spikes along their bodies can damage any predator bold enough to actually come near them, usually other Pliathor if they happen to get into a fight, but it's their huge mouths that catch prey- those fangs may not look big compared to the rest of them, but they sure are sharp! Having six eyes allows them to see greater areas along the sides of their heads, except in the case of the blind Abyss, but it's not recommended you try to surprise them by heading towards that blind spot right in front of them. Behavioral Study: Surfacing often for air (with the exception of the "abyss" breed, which rarely sees the surface), these creatures have a fascination with boats... Unfortunately, for the un-tamed creatures, this fascination is not a playful one, and they often cause many shipwrecks. Suggested Uses: A grand "water monster"... These creatures were not designed to be kept as pets, though it has been proven that it is possible to tame and train them. Breeds:Abyss: The Abyss breed lives in the deepest areas of saltwater only. The Abyss breed is also the only Pliathor that does not breathe air with their mouths, because it doesn't breathe air, it "breathes" water, and thus it rarely surfaces, if ever - because of this lack of surface activity, it has grown very sensitive to light. When growing to their next life-stage, the "Abyss" breed all died in the labs due to lack of much needed underwater pressure tanks... It is the hope of the labs that the owners who have adopted these creatures managed to get them into appropriate facilities, though the "Abyss" that were released into the wild seem to be doing just fine in their proper home (the farthest depths of the seas and oceans). Lake: The Lake breed (similar to the rest of the Pliathor) live in the habitat that best matches it's name. The Lake breed only tends to live in lakes, but it must always be freshwater. River: The River breed prefers to live in moving water, such as streams and rivers - although as it ages, streams will be to small, so it must move to larger rivers only... The River breed must be in freshwater only, never saltwater. Unfortunately, due to it's limited habitat at such a large size, the creature is becoming more scarce, and now is limited edition - we're sorry if you missed your chance to adopt one. Sea: The Sea breed lives in all manners of Saltwater, and (like whales) must surface frequently - it is this need to surface that greatly separates it from it's saltwater kin, the Abyss breed. Goldwater: is a beautiful and aggressive example of the Pliathor Species... It's pelt shimmers and shines with golden luster, and vibrant red stripes warn of it's deadly nature. Quicksilver: is Goldwater's clutch-mate. It was made with just as much luster as Goldwater, but all the pigments that make it colorful were simply taken out, giving it a silver appearance. Certainly a beauty in the water! Sand: The Sand breed actually doesn't live in water at all... if burrows and "swims" in sand, and is quite rare to find out there in the deserts of the west..

Species Name: Elemental Golems - EXTINCT Species Number: 6 Pronunciation: - Breeds Available: Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Ultimate, Acid, Cold, Electrical, Nature VSC Breeds: Autumnwood, Balefire, Crystalline, Hellash, Lavaspit, Onyx, Plasma, Slip, Stormcloud Feral Breeds: None Super-Rare Breeds: None Stats: HereSpecies StandardsPreferred Habitat: Please read below in "Breed Differences". Diet: Elementals "absorb" the energy that they are composed of... For more details, please read below in "Breed Differences". Call: These creatures (with the exception of the ultimate breed) are mute, and make no noise at all. Special Care Needs: Keep in mind their elemental composition. Please read below in "Breed Differences". In general, the Elemental Golems are not the brightest creatures in the world, and thus tend to die due to their own stupidity... I can recall countless times when a fire elemental has tried to jump into a swimming pool because "the water was pretty" (one can only assume that's the reason it dove to it's death)... Training these creatures because of it, will require MUCH repetition. Once they reach adulthood however, there is no breaking the loyalty bonds with their owner.. Or rather, the commands that they have finally learned. Note - a VERY IMPORTANT command to teach an elemental golem is "STOP". Biology and Anatomy: These creatures are the "magic" part of science and magic - crafted almost entirely of their respective element. Each element has a "core" - which can only be extracted if the elemental is destroyed in the process. And Elemental can only grow to it's greatest potential (old) if one fuses it with a Mote of it's appropriate element.. What happens when you fuse a Fire Elemental with a Mote of Fire..? Well, you'll just have to go beyond and find out, won't you? Behavioral Study: Not Available Suggested Uses: Elemental golems and their uses vary between breeds, and intent of the owner... Use your imagination, and I'm sure you'll think of something quite useful to do with your Elemental Golem. Breeds AvailableFire: The Fire breed "absorbs" fire and flames. You should keep your Fire breed away from water (and moist areas) at all costs, for this will certainly kill it. Make sure your Fire breed has access to oxygen (or air) at all times, but keep it out of strong winds. Do not "smother" your Fire breed. Keep your Fire breed away from all flammable materials, and use heat-resistant gloves when handling your Fire breed. Water: The Water breed "absorbs" water and moisture. You should prevent your Water breed from accidentally "absorbing" dust or other such particles. You should frequently "wash" your Water breed to remove any foreign objects from it's body. You should keep your Water breed away from searing heat to prevent it from evaporating. It is easy to loose your Water breed in large pools of liquid (such as a swimming pool). Please keep your Water breed away from water-soluble objects, such as books. Do not allow your Water breed near electronic equipment, or you (both) may suffer a severe electrical shock. Do not Freeze your Water breed. Wind: The Wind breed "absorbs" air. Try to keep your Wind breed in an enclosed area at all times, for it is very easy for it to simply float away like a balloon. The wind breed is by far one of the easiest to take care of. Earth: The Earth breed "absorbs" dirt, rocks, and other various minerals. The Earth breed cannot swim, so keep it away from deep waters. The Earth breed may become quite heavy, so use caution when placing it on the second story of a wooden framed house. The Earth breed can however, stay forever in your freezer, and no matter of temperatures - hot or cold (save for perhaps the melting point of glass) can seem to harm it. Ultimate: The attempt to make an "ultimate" elemental by combining all four of the basic elements into one creature was... a failed attempt, for lack of a better word. All of these miserable creatures that were not yet adopted out were terminated to put them out of their misery. If you feel the need to NOT put this thing out of it's misery, then just keep in mind that it is incapable of moving on it's own. It is unknown what this breed "absorbs". The Ultimate breed is also the only breed that can "speak" - makes noises not with vocal cords, but rather by moving it's body in various "squishy" ways to produce a wide variety of disgusting sounds. Acid: The Acid breed is one of the most difficult to feed (or the easiest, depending on where you live)... It feeds on all manners of toxic chemicals. A good place to find these would be in a dumpster where people place empty bottles of sink cleaner and other such hazardous liquids and semi-liquids. You must be very careful with an Acid breed, as it's body will corrode all manners of wood, skin, and metal. The only safe thing to contain it seems to be glass. Also, keep in mind that inhaling the fumes it gives off is also a bad idea, and it should be kept in a well-ventilated area. Cold: The Cold breed is best kept in the freezer, or even refrigerator. They should be kept out of warm temperatures at all cost (you've heard of "frosty the snowman", right?). Handling these creatures for long periods of time may cause frostbite, so handle with cautions.. Gloves or mittens might be a good idea. Keep away from all water-soluble objects, as moisture will come from them and ruin objects such as paper. Electrical: The electrical breed is a difficult one to keep. It is required to constantly move about, and often so fast that it's impossible to catch. It's hyperactivity makes it a difficult creature to control, and it should never be touched unless you are properly equipped with rubber gloves. Glass is an easy way to contain it (though there are rumors of trapping them inside electronic equipment, such as computers... these rumors have yet to be proven). Keep these creatures away from all electrical devices, as it may fry your hardware or wires. Use cautiously, as they may cause electrical shock. Keep away from all flammable objects, or you may start an electrical fire. Keep them away from "grounding", such as - do not cover them in sand... These creatures are also attracted by water and metal objects. Do not handle these creatures when wearing any metallic objects (such as necklaces and earrings). Do not own these creatures if you have a pacemaker. Nature: The Nature breed is another very easy type to handle. It's as simple as owning a plant. Water it daily, let it "absorb" dirt and plant-life, and let it see the sunlight for at least one hour of each day. Do not leave it in the sunlight for too long, and keep it away from all flames. Autumnwood: Information Missing. Balefire: Information Missing. Crystalline: Information Missing. Hellash: Information Missing. Lavaspit: Information Missing. Onyx: Information Missing. Species Name: Vulticus; EXTINCT Species Number: 7 Pronunciation: Volt - E - Kiss Breeds Available: Grey, Brown, Cave, Domestic, Vulpine VSC Breeds: Thylo, Frostnip, Seraph, Nightwing, Bloodpaw, Silverfang, Wild Feral Breeds: None Super-Rare Breeds: None Stats: HereSpecies StandardsPreferred Habitat: This species is rather versatile, and can live in many climates from tundra to near tropical. It's preferred habitat is open plains and sparing woods (jungles are too dense for them). When breeding, they dig burrows underground that resemble the dens of any wild canine-like creature. Diet: Strictly carnivorous... This creature hunts in packs of other Vulticus to take down large prey. Call: These creatures make all the noises your typical dog (or wolf) makes... Ranging from whimpers and whines, to barks and growls, all the way to howls. Special Care Needs: One of the easiest creatures to care for at MML, it requires no special treatment beyond what you would give your house-hold family pet dog. Biology and Anatomy: Having the frame of the everyday 'Canine', these mutts range from 'Cute and Fluffy' to 'Hostile and Frightening'. Like normal dogs/wolfs, the different breeds differ in appearance. Long tails, pointed ears, and 'small' claws, these creatures seem to appeal to all kinds of people, who wouldn't love a loyal creature of their own? Like all mammals, hair((fur)) covers some part of the body, for Vulticus's it's the entire frame. The coat color, and length depends on the breed, red and white to brown and black. Most Vulticus have a normal body build, with long legs to help carry them quickly, to wherever they're desired destination may be. Sharp pointed canine fangs are hidden behind slender maws, but can easily lash out and take a chunk of flesh from the target. Hearing and sense of smell are much better then other creatures in the MML labs, yet some have poor eyesight. All of the breeds, tend to all have one trait in common, that being 'Having someone in command and or a companion'. No one likes to be alone, and these 'monsters' love to have someone to 'call their own'. Behavioral Study: Vulticus seem to prefer to live in packs, with the leader making all of the rules.. if you are the "pack leader", then you'll find it rather easy to train your vulticus.. there are a few exceptions however.. please refer to the "breed differences"... Suggested Uses: From family pet, to guardian, to fighting pit champion... The limits are almost endless with this species... Breeds:Grey: The Grey is one of the standard breeds of Vulticus - it has no special qualities that set it apart from the species standards. Brown: The Brown is similar to the Grey in that it has no special qualities... In fact, the only difference between the Grey and Brown is coloration alone. Cave: The Cave breed was designed to be more aggressive, and will also be the only Vulticus that will grow large enough to possibly carry a rider - after all, they grow twice the size of a normal vulticus!! Although the Cave breed can live in the normal sized burrows that the other Vulticus reside in, it prefers to live in larger caves instead. The Cave breed is most often used to be a "guard dog" or even a "mount". They also seem to be stubborn in the fact that they prefer to not have any vulticus in their "pack" aside from other cave breeds... So be cautious when introducing new vulticus. They also have rather dim vision, so you should always make enough noise to let them identify you when approaching them. Domestic: The Domestic breed was designed to be a family pet and is obedient to the point of stupidity - it aims to please it's "master". It is the easiest of the Vulticus to train, but is usually not skilled at hunting prey on it's own. It is also not suited for outdoor life, and is in need of constant care - for it cannot survive on it's own out in the wild. The Domestic breed is also most easily trusted with small children. Because of their "love-ability" however, and their constant desire to play, they were all adopted out by adulthood. Vulpine: The Vulpine breed is the smallest (only half the size of the other Vulticus), and because of this can only hunt the smaller game. The Vulpine breed seems to lack most of the "pack instincts" that the rest of the Vulticus have, and thus they tend to have weaker bonds with their owners - more independent, it has a tendency to "nip". The Vulpine breed also makes more of a "yapping" noise, than the regular "barks" that the rest of the species makes. Because of their small size (and beautiful fur), most people tend to use the Vulpine breed as nothing more than a "lap dog"... Also, because of it's small size and beautiful fur, the Vulpine breed was snatched up so quickly in the labs that they are no longer available for adoption. Bloodpaw: are the mad hunters of the cave vulticus world... They seem to take great pride in their ability to take down prey, and will happily kill anything twice their size (which is rather large, considering how big bloodpaw are themselves!)... They do listen to their owners, or pack leaders, if raised properly however - so raise them properly!! Bloodpaw, like Silverfang, seem to be more intelligent than the other vulticus, and prove this by having their sisters place a pawprint marking of blood on their side. Similar to lioness, the Bloodpaw are only available as females... Seraph: With blue eyes seem to give way to it's icy cold stare... Although they are benevolent creatures by nature, most folks would say they lack emotions... But, then again.. they don't own one, now do they? Perhaps if you owned one, you would find out the truth about what lies in their heart... I think that they're just... very... very quiet, and calm... and... observant. And, they're one of the two kinds of vulticus that can fly! That's right, winged vulticus! When a Seraph is adopted, it is always adopted as an old, as no babies or juveniles are available... Thylo: is an energetic Vulticus, with colorations similar to the extinct Thylacine (Tasmanian wolf, or Tasmanian tiger)... Stripes on it's butt included! Even though Thylacines don't have green eyes, Thylo does! This energetic pup is sure to catch the interest of any Vulticus enthusiast. Frostnip: is a vulticus that will surely be the talk of the town if you were to own it! It's fur is white as ice, with greying tips, adding just a titch of texture to it's beautiful coat. Not only it's coat is to die for either, it's eyes are blue like the sky on a winter's day. Surely this little winter-designed vulpine vulticus is just right for you! Nightwing: is the other kind of flying (winged) vulticus... Most would say, at a first glance, that nightwing must be evil and dark creatures... But, again.. they've never owned one, now have they? Nightwing, as they were designed to be, tend to be a bit emotional, and jump from happy to sad in an instant.. They usually steer clear of aggression, and would usually rather flee than fight... But, don't let that deceive you either! They're supposed to be (like their white companions) loyal partners with their human owners. Like Seraph, when Nightwing is adopted, it is always adopted as an old, as no babies or juveniles are available... Silverfang: is easily labeled as the leader of the pack... They're quite dominant, and in any cave vulticus pack are instantly made leader... Be careful though, as they really don't appreciate other breeds of vulticus around, and will even go so far as to kill them... It is rumored that the silverfang are more intelligent than most vulticus, but this is perhaps just a rumor.. What isn't a rumor however, is the fact that the Silverfang are nearly blind, but this doesn't make them any less capable! Silverfang are only available as males... Wild: These Vulticus come from a land far far away.... And their minds are far from what one might call "stable".. they're not usually mean-hearted, in fact - they're usually quite loving and playful.. but good luck keeping them on a one-track mind!

Species Name: Equillion Species Number: 8 Pronunciation: Ek - Quill - E - On Breeds Available: Common, Pure, Tainted, Wild, Zesty, Pygmy VSC Breeds: Painter, Raver, Chiquinto, Heaven Feral Breeds: None Super-Rare Breeds: Dasher Stats: HereSpecies StandardsPreferred Habitat: The Equillion species prefers the warmer climates, and it almost always seems to prefer the open areas such as plains, grasslands, or prairies. Keeping it in an enclosed space usually makes it very nervous, and a nervous animal is almost always a dangerous one. Diet: Diet mostly consists of grasses and grains, but will occasionally eat vegetables and fruit. Call: This species usually makes the sounds that you would hear from any normal horse, with a few exceptions (read below in "breed differences").. Special Care Needs: The Equllion, for the most part, needs no more care than a typical horse.. With a few exceptions.. Please be sure to read in the breed differences for special care needs specific to your breed. Biology and Anatomy: Generally, Equillion love to be brushed, and need to be. An Equillion is an energetic creature, and it will roll in the dirt, or gallop through the mud, so bathes and brushing sessions are assumed needs. An Equillion spends most of its time standing up, its sturdy legs built to hold its weight. It can accommodate for short periods of time on three legs, resting the other. Occasionally, it will lay down, or roll around on its back, but due to its size, if this is prolonged, internal damage could result. All Equillion have tough, cloven hooves that need to be taken care of, and filed down (especially in the Tainted's case) occasionally. With the exception of the Tainted, Equillion do not possess fangs, though they still pack a strong bite if they think your finger's a carrot. Behavioral Study: Equillion usually do very well in groups, and don't like enclosed or tight spaces... More information pending research... Suggested Uses: The main use for this creature, is to serve as a mount. Breeds:Common: The Common breed is just that - it has no special qualities that set it apart from the "species standards"... They're the most favored mounts, as they're fairly easy to train in comparison to the other breeds. Pure: The Pure breed is the only one that prefers the cover of trees, rather than the open plains. It's sound is also unique in that it can be only described as a low bell, or the song that a whale makes mixed with a cello (base violin)... to be sure, it is a beautiful and unique sound. Because of popular demand for the breed, they were all snatched up by all manners of zoos and private owners - you're very lucky if you managed to get a hold of one. Rumors have it that they also hold healing powers! The pure breed is also rather difficult to keep, as it is careful not to step on a single living blade of grass as an adult, and will only eat fruit that has fallen from a tree, rather than plucked from it. When it reaches it's old stage of life, it takes the "don't step on grass" to an extreme - as it can take a misty form, ever changing, and "hover" over the ground - never truly touching it.. This does not however, mean that the creature can fly - it just doesn't ever truly touch the ground. It can also disappear into a mystical fog - as if it never were.. did you manage to spot one? Tainted: The Tainted breed is a frightening thing indeed, for it is the only Equilion that is a strict carnivore. It's mane and tail are not actually on fire, but their coloration is quite brilliant in color. With such a bad temperament, one should be cautious when training or handling a Tainted breed. In addition to the usual noises that an Equillion makes, the Tainted breed has been known to growl. Like the Pure breed, they were all snatched up by all manners of zoos and private owners - you're very lucky if you managed to get a hold of one! Rumors have it, that as an adult, the Tainted breed can actually breath fire! Imagine that, a fire-breathing equillion! When they reach their old stage of life, their bodies twist and distort even more, matching their minds. They take on traits of the shadow - and their manes are wreathed in flames! Luckily, if they're loyal to their owner, they may choose to not scorch their hand - but with these temperamental creatures? It's unlikely. Wild: The Wild breed is a marvelous jumper, and rather than running, it seems to "leap and bound". It's call sounds more like a deer than that of a horse - and it tends to be quite shy. The wild breed is sadly too small to use as a mount by most people, save for children. They cannot carry anything over 125 pounds. Zesty: The Zesty breed is very similar to the Common in that it has very little qualities that set it apart. It does however, have a personality that matches it's name, and can be quite hyper-active at times. It's coloration is also unique, and if you look hard enough, you may notice that it's stripes are not black, but a collection of random colors. Pygmy: The Pygmy is much smaller than the normal Equillion.. so much smaller.. In fact, they can't ever be ridden - even in adult stage.. unless, of course - you happen to be 3 feet tall (or less)... Painter: This is a magical little Equillion, in that it's pelt is... special. ^.^; Aaaww.. who doesn't want a magical pony..? What.. you dont' believe that it's magical?.. Plus.. if you adopt one, you might be lucky - it's rumored that painters have many different colors of wings! Raver: is just like the Zesty.. only... backwards? Grab your special coloring of the Zesty, and take home a Raver today! Chiquinto: is just a special colored common equillion really.. though, it's rumored they're quite intelligent - and pick up neat little tricks quite rapidly (such as "shake", and "play dead")... The Chiquinto Equillion come in 4 different colors - which are random.. I wonder which one you'll get..? Heaven: These cute little creatures are said to be from the heavens themselves... clouds, that is. In fact, they can flutter through the air with very little effort at all, though unfortunately - because of their size, they're unable to carry a rider to their fluffy home. Dasher: The Dasher Equillion was only available for a short time, during the winter holidays of 2008.. Did you get one? Also - the Dasher is rumored to be able to fly during the months of December and July!
