Ground Tie - 5
He seemed to understand at this point, which was a good thing no matter what you thought of it, she figured with a smile. Jack picked up the reins and started pulling him along again before she looked him in the eye and dropped the reins. After dropping them she then started to walk off, and the Wiurn started to follow her for a moment, taking half of a step, before he stopped and sat down where he was, tilting his head and chirping a little at her in confusion. But he'd gotten it! Jack turned and tossed him a rather big fish for getting it right finally and smiled at him as she patted his neck. He gulped it down and chirped again, wondering what the fish was for and all that, but he figured he'd gotten something right, he usually did if she gave this to him like that.

Crunch - 1
They were back at the beach the next day after having gone to the Mansion for a little while. Given had spooked a bit from the Mansion and it's craziness this month, so she figured a break then more training would be a good call. Jack was wearing jeans and a bikini top again with bare feet, though she brought a few sticks and such with her just in case. There were large pieces of driftwood in the area as well just in case they needed them for training. "Okay, crunch Given!" Jack told him, holding a stick in front of his mouth. Given stared at it and she finally poked it at him, and he bit down pretty hard on it, it cracked but didn't break. "Very good Given!" she said with a smile, tossing him a fish. This was going to go well, or so she thought at least.

Crunch - 2
Jack knew it would take awhile for him to break the big stick, but once he did they would move on to the next thing for the day. He'd gotten a bit of experience in being worked with at the Mansion, which certainly helped with training at the moment, and that was what made her grin for the moment. She'd been having a hard time lately, but throwing herself into her training seemed to be loosening her up a little bit, the tension in her shoulders slowly slipping away it seemed. The woman held the stick out in front of him again, "Crunch Given!" He stared at it for a moment before biting it again, wondering what was going to be done about things at the moment. Jack wondered what he was going to do about things for the moment, and that was going to be fine. She still tossed him a fish for a job well done.

Crunch - 3
Next time would be a little different, he had to bite down as hard as he could in order to try and break the stick before she would give him a fish. Jack smiled at him and patted him on the head before she held the stick out again, "Crunch, Given!" He bit down again as hard as he'd been biting and she shook her head and jabbed him with it again a little, just enough to make him mad. "Given, crunch!" Jack snapped at him, and he chomped down on it as hard as he could out of anger, to which she cheered and tossed him a fish, much to his confusion. He figured it had something to do with the bite, but he didn't know what was going to happen. Jack smiled a little bit and patted him on the head to show him he'd done a job well done so far, though he needed more practice.

Crunch - 4
Poking him with the stick again, she called to him, "Crunch, Given!" The Wiurn snapped at it and chomped down as hard as he could on the stick, almost breaking it in half. Jack smiled and tossed the stick away from them for the moment and nodded a bit before tossing him another fish. Things were going to be fine no matter what, and that was going to be great. She knew people could get this training done if they put their mind to it, it really wasn't that difficult she figured with a smile. The woman pushed her hand over her hair, she'd gotten it cut the night before after putting Given back into the pond at home, and she was pleased with it. She shook her head, her curls bouncing around her ears a little bit as she did so, and then she grinned at Given again. She was ready, was he?

Crunch - 5
Jack looked around and grabbed a bigger stick, one that shouldn't give him much issue anymore she figured with a nod. "Okay Given, crunch!" she told him firmly, showing him the stick. The Wiurn lunged forward and snapped at the stick as hard as he could, snapping the thick stick in half, much to her delight. Jack grinned and patted him on the neck after he was done, though he wished for a fish, he knew he had done well at the same time, and it meant he could protect her a little better now too. Sure, there were things he knew, but this one he really hadn't figured out on his own, but that was fine. He just hoped she would give him the chance to defend her at some point, he figured with a determined look on his face as he looked at the woman. There would be a chance and he knew it.

Rend - 1
The next was fun too, though not as fun as what was going to be coming. Jack smiled, he would learn to fly today, she figured, it was only natural. He would be a fast flyer as well, hopefully a fast swimmer too. She couldn't wait, but that was alright no matter what. "Rend, Given!" she told him after walking him over to a big, thick piece of driftwood. She took his back foot and dragged his claws over the wood as hard as she could to give him an idea of what she was going to ask him of at the moment. Jack pushed her hair back with a smile on her face, he seemed to glean some information from that and she knew he was going to try hard at all of this no matter what she figured as she nodded a bit. The woman tossed him a fish for a job well done.

Rend - 2
Jack knew he had figured it out already, he wasn't a dumb animal by any means, but he wasn't brilliant either. He sat pretty much in the middle of it all it seemed, which was fine for her at the moment. "Rend, Given!" she told him again with a smile, pointing at the log. Given sniffed at one of his back feet again and then scraped it over the log, not hard, but enough to make her happy at this point. She patted him on the head and tossed him a fish, chuckling as he swallowed it whole. She was sure he liked the things she was giving him, which certainly helped everything at the same time. Jack just didn't know what he was going to have to do at the moment in order to do things better. It would be fine though, she thought for a moment, it would all work out.

Rend - 3
This wasn't too hard to learn, she figured as she tilted her head. She'd taught it to a few animals at this point, Given adding to the numbers, but that was alright she figured with a smile. Jack didn't know what was going through his mind at the moment as things were going and all that. That was fine, she just needed to keep training. The woman pointed at the log again, "Okay Given, rend!" The Wiurn lashed out at the log again and wondered what was going to happen as things went on. His claws bit into the log, just not enough to split it just yet. That was alright, it was going to be a hard log to split, but she tossed him a fish all the same at this point, she figured things would get better as time went on. She wanted to get to the fun stuff, though this was fun as well.

Rend - 4
Things were progressing nicely she thought for a moment before she pointed and gave the command again, "Rend Given!" The Wiurn lashed out again, this time biting much deeper into the wood. It was harder to get into the wood than it was to get into skin, so the stronger he was against the log, the stronger he would be against another animal. She just wished he had grown with the rest of the species. Ah well, she loved him all the same she figured as she pressed her forehead against his. He was the one who had initiated it, much to her surprise, and that was fine she figured with a little smile, wrapping her arms around his neck for a little bit. They stood there for a little while before she finally pulled back and patted him again before looking around. They needed to keep going if this was going to work.

Rend - 5
Jack pushed a hand through her hair and then pointed at the log one last time. It had been clawed deeply so far, but it wasn't split just yet. Hopefully this time it would and then they could work it out for awhile as well. "Okay Given, rend!" The Wiurn took his back leg and lashed out as hard as he could against the log, splitting it down the middle and wondering if this was good enough. It was kind of hurting his foot, the claws had been bending a bit, they really needed looked at, but the fact that he had split the log turned out a little better no matter what. Jack grinned at him and patted him on the head before giving him a tiny little fish. As long as they kept going with things, then it would be just fine at this point, she thought with a smile.

Fly - 1
It had been awhile since she had been out with Given, and she figured it was time again. There was some new training for the Guild and she wanted to keep up with everyone for awhile, she figured. Given was wandering behind her to the training area at the Docks, and she turned and had him stop. "Okay, fly. Just pump your wings!" she told him, flapping her arms up and down in front of him. The Wiurn just stared at her like she was crazy, which she very well might be at this point she thought with a little chuckle. She scratched her head, trying to figure out what was going to happen no matter what happened, and she knew eventually he was going to fly, she just had to figure out how to teach him to do it. They didn't share a Ribbon, so that was out, and she didn't know if she was going to either.

Fly - 2
Given stretched out and yawned, it was going to be a long day, they'd gotten out bright and early, and the woman agreed even though she didn't know what he was thinking. Jack pushed her hair back and then reached out and took his wings in her hands, flapping them up and down a bit to show him what he needed to do. Of course she didn't do it fast enough or hard enough for him to get any air, but she reiterated, "Fly, Given!" He pulled his wings back for a moment and then stared at them, questioning what she was doing before he cautiously flapped them himself. Jack cooed at him, "Very good fly Given!" She tossed him a fish which he greedily ate, he hadn't eaten yet today, it was too early in the morning, and that was fine at the same time. At least he was understanding just a bit.

Fly - 3
He stared at her after he ate the fish and hissed when she pushed him away from the pouch of fish at her hip. He was irritated that he still didn't get exactly what he wanted when he wanted it, but he was getting used to it after awhile. Jack pushed her hair back with a smile and told him again, tapping his wings, "Fly, Given!" He looked at his wings and pumped them up and down for a moment, catching an inch of air as he went stronger and stronger. "Very good fly, Given!" she told him happily, tossing him a bigger fish than before. She smiled at him and shook her head, he was picking it up rather well it seemed, though he was going to need more practice definitely. There was nothing to do but keep him doing it she figured with a smile on her face.

Fly - 4
Given chirped at her a little before grumbling a little. He wanted a bigger fish of course, and believed he deserved it, but she didn't, not quite. At least the last one was bigger than the first one! She smiled at him, patted his neck, and then moved back a little, "Okay Given, fly!" The Wiurn chirped again before beating his wings in the air, getting more air under him and fluttering ahead just a little at the moment. She cheered at him and clapped him on the shoulder, "Very good fly, Given!" She woman tossed him another bigger fish with a smile on her face, they needed him to get into the air without gliding down though, she wasn't sure what that was going to be like or anything, but she would figure it out eventually, she liked a challenge after all, so things would be personally fine. Just had to watch out.
