Morgan knew that their time today was going to draw to a close soon, and that the last thing they were going to work on today after finishing up the follow command was really going to be something that wouldn't take too long at all. However, they did need to finish this up before going on to that next thing, after all. This time Morgan actually entered the loch again, feeling that cold water on their skin again. Domino swam around them in little loops, giving those fishy cuddles with her spotted fins. Morgan was glad that the creature had looked quite healthy when they had bought it, and was looking even better now, at least. Morgan began using the whistle and then having the creature follow them around the loch as they walked back and forth, giving treats as it performed the command. Then, Morgan worked on a few of the old commands interspersed with this one until they felt like the creature had gotten the follow command well enough.

Morgan knew that the last bit of training for today would be quite easy, and that undoubtedly the next set would be a little less frustrating to do because they will be less typical to do. However, this last bit was super important and not quite something that could be easily ignored; Domino was typically okay with Morgan moving them from tank to water, but Morgan wanted to make sure that the creature would also accept other forms of movement; which would be important on their first veterinarian visit, which would be happening soon. The Vet that Morgan used, after all, had been told recently about the seryn's existence in the home now, so it would soon be time for a check up. Morgan walked down into the water, knowing that the creature would have to tolerate the veterinarian's movements of it's fins and such, so it was important to get it used to such things.

The seryn already liked Morgan enough to accept most of Morgan's minute ministrations of the creature's fins and such, but Morgan wanted to exhibit that any amount of touching, short of pain, should be accepted regardless. Domino sidled up to one side of Morgan, already begging to more of the tiny feeder fish; which were too small to really give the creature a full stomach, and that was purposeful of course. Morgan gently reached out, gently this time, and touched both the top and the bottom side of Domino's left fin. The creature moved it softly, and then allowed Morgan to touch it carefully. As soon as Morgan was done moving it up and down a little bit, Morgan offered the creature a calico feeder fish, knowing that the seryn would accept it well enough, and it would calm the creature down. Morgan then moved forward, planning to do the same to the right front fin.

Morgan did the exact same thing to the right front fin, gently running their hands over it and moving it up and down, moving from the tip to the fish itself, where it met the body. The seryn was surprisingly fine with this; perhaps because seryn tended to have a rather fast-forming psycho-social effect, but Morgan knew that it needed to make sure that the creature would be okay with being moved no matter what. Morgan allowed the creature another feeder fish, and then continued. The bespectacled human gently grabbed the entire animal, moving it from one side of their body to the other, and then gently touching all of the fins, including the one on the back, and then gently, ever so gently, touching the tail and moving it to the left, then the right. This process seemed to go over well enough, and afterward, Morgan gave the creature another of the calico feeder fish.

So far, everything is doing quite well, and Morgan knew that soon, there wouldn't be any issues and they would have to go home. However, for now they would need to do more repetition to further make sure that the creature was going to really understand the whole toleration training idea. The seryn was much easier to do this with than Waar had been. Morgan really didn't want to think about that, but here in the dreary morning threatening to rain, down in the docks alone with the seryn, Morgan finally broke. They walked to the shore and sat down in the surf and mud, with the seryn quietly 'curled up' in their lap that was still in the water. Morgan sobbed, really sobbed. It drizzled for a little while, and Morgan simply petted the creature, moving Domino's fins around and touching the body of the animal, and moving it's tail, and then touching it's face and the gem on it's forehead while petting it.

After a while, the bespectacled human seemed to gather theirself somewhat, finally moving the fish out of their lap and walking out to the water once more. The drizzle eventually stopped as the pair continued to work on the tolerance thing. Morgan would move the seryn around, would move its' body parts around, all off and on. Morgan was careful to make sure that nothing would hurt the creature, and careful to make sure that the creature was going to do well. After a while of doing this and treating the creature, Morgan just stopped and got out, toweling off and putting on their drier clothes. They were still damp and miserable, but much better. However, Morgan still spent a little time working on maneuvering the creature from outside of the loch, reaching down to move the creature's body. Domino was perfectly okay with this, and Morgan felt lucky that the creature was so used to them, after all. Morgan eventually used this tolerance to move the creature much more easily from the loch to the transport tank. They were done for the day, and Morgan was convinced that the creature would happily move well enough.

Morgan had not worked with Domino in a while, and that was totally Morgan's fault. They had so many creatures that they were working on slowly, and of course the Waar thing had happened, that Morgan had sort of neglected Domino's training. Morgan still fed Domino every day of course, while feeding the tat-lungs. Yes, it was important for Morgan to do that, they knew, and spending time with Domino that way was incredibly important. However, Morgan finally got to a stopping point with Waar for today, and had long enough to get Domino put into the transfer tank so that they could go down to the docks. There were lots of things to work on today that was going to take a lot more work than the things they had went over last time. Morgan needed to catch up on some of the things that the training guild wanted, anyway.

Morgan was sure that they were a little too late when it came to training some of the things for the guild, but they had been so busy with Waar and everything else, that Morgan hadn't been able to work with anything lately other than Waar. Even poor little Nico had been getting walks more often and training less because of it, it was a real mess. Morgan used a little wagon to pull the travel tank behind them to get to the lake. They didn't have a whole ton of time today, but they needed to get as much done as possible, and this was one of those things that needed to be done. Morgan looked at Domino a bit apologetically, they'd spent time with Domino of course during feeding times, but Morgan felt quite bad about not being able to train them further. Domino's bright silver eyes simply drank in all of the surroundings.

Morgan knew that the seryn was sentient; that was what the Labs said about them, but her form of sentience and showing it was really different than any of Morgan's other creatures. It was quite confusing in all honesty, but this was why Morgan tended to do these sort of training sessions; so that they could study sentience in Labs creatures. Not to mention, Domino would be an excellent water mount at some point, Morgan had even bought a harness for her eventually to use. For now, however, Morgan wanted to train her some water tricks, and to swim on command. Eventually, Seryn tended to be able to leave the water, so learning the swim on command, well, command, now would be excellent just in case. The seryn had the ability to carry a rider in the water, but probably not in the sky to Morgan's knowledge. They were pretty small, all things considered.

Morgan had worked with quite a bit of mount creatures by this point, and had taken a class on how to properly hold on to a seryn as an underwater mount, though of course Domino was not the subject of such a thing; Domino wasn't fully ready yet. "Well, Domino. We're going to work on at least one thing today, okay?" Morgan said, talking more at her than to her. There was no real point of course, Seryn didn't understand common, and Domino certainly wouldn't, but it made Morgan feel a little less guilty on their walk. Domino looked at Morgan with those big ole silver eyes for a moment before moving over to look at some of the other people and creatures walking by. Morgan did the same, of course keeping an eye on where they were walking, but also marveling at how no one seemed to think traveling with a fish was odd.

Morgan would have thought that it was indeed quite odd, but then again, they had also helped work with their father's beloved Seryn, so the human didn't think it was as odd as they should have had. The Labs really seemed to turn the world up on it's head, sometimes. No one in the old books their father had managed to procure for their home didn't have anything like this. Heck, even the most 'simple' of Labs-created creatures took to training a lot easier than normal animals (not that there were many around anymore) did. The Labs creatures outperformed their wild counterparts, which was difficult to believe if they hadn't spent most of their life watching this happen. It would seem that the Labs creatures wouldn't do so well, but the Labs itself appeared to have so many savants in producing strange creatures. Morgan thought about this often, when they were out on training excursions.

The Labs were a strange place, indeed. Morgan wanted desperately to know more about it, but also had to keep their head down. They didn't want to stumble on anything that would put a target on their back outwardly, and because of that, Morgan was finding it important to begin separating out their mount creatures. Some of them would be for the more covert activities, some for during the day, and perhaps some for more battle-ready situations. This would serve to make sure that Morgan didn't get noticed as easily. Of course, they would also need to start wearing different clothes at different times as well... It was important to begin working on this, however. They needed to be able to infiltrate the Labs without too much detection, while still being able to continue on with the other facets of their plan. Training Domino as a mount eventually is a vital part of this plan.

Morgan eventually wanted to have at least five mounts, though Morgan knew that this was going to be a lot of work, especially on the point of Waar. He still needed a ton of regular training work, let alone mount training, and they wouldn't be able to work on that until they could find some kind of substances that would allow for Morgan to keep some kind of a saddle or anything really on him. It was a mess, a super big mess. At least with Domino, provided that she grew eventually, it should be pretty easy after that. Especially if Morgan trained her to perform the swimming tricks that would be needed for such a thing. Morgan had made sure to procure some of those amulets of swimming recently, so that they didn't have to worry about air when the time came. However, Morgan couldn't help but be a bit nervous about whether or not Domino would take to it at all.

Morgan was going to have to put a bit of speed in their step; they were running up against a deadline at the training guild for this one, and they'd already missed a previous deadline. It was a real mess, but they had been so busy lately, and they doubted that they would be able to keep up with what they needed to do. It was a real shame that the things that they wanted to train were going to take a lot of work, and of course Domino wasn't as used to Morgan as some of Morgan's other creatures, so it was going to be even longer for them to work on it, because Morgan was having to spend extra time just being around Domino in the hopes that they might make the deadline. Sometimes creatures didn't 'learn' things the first time, and stuff had to be gone over again, too...

On top of all of this, Morgan needed to start working with the tat-lungs again soon. Seimei was still learning how to be in his mature body, while Ryuusei was just now starting to look like he could possibly mature at any point. It was exciting; he was excited, Morgan was excited, Seimei was pretending pointedly not to be excited. It was generally a good time for them, and of course Morgan cared a lot about it. On the other hand, Shigeru seemed to be developing a little bit more slowly, which was fine Morgan figured. Basically all Dynasty tat-lungs were arrested in development for some reason anyway, though Morgan was sure that he would eventually grow, even if they had to wait forever. He still needed to be taught as much as possible. Morgan had their work cut out for them, with Domino and everyone else! At least Domino seemed happy, a lot.
