Reposting from the c-box since things eventually fall off the page there: "When the Genevi thing died off completely, I did rework the Siege setting to be something more independent (some of the opponent abilities being a little preview to it) but unfortunately the site usage died down around the same time so put it on backburn x3;"
That said, I don't mind if the system is used~ A friendly little 'training siege' can be a good way for people to test and get used to the system it uses so they're better prepared for a 'real' one down the line (and for the Siege, I had originally intended to run like a 'beta'-test for it with low stakes). If nothing else, its something unconventional for people to try and do, especially if they haven't tried anything character-combat based before and don't want to jump in head first quite yet.
Gauntlet can be fun, but I wonder how the process works, like will it be more skills-you-have-based, stats-you-have-based, purely roleplay or something else?
On Wars: Definitely interested in both, I liked where the Civil War was going and the gradual build-up, just sad we ended up losing some people to inactivity in order to see it through :c You know, technically we have plenty of material to work with for the Genevi war to be an actualized thing, even without Spirit, cause we know the overall intended plot/conflict and have an understanding on Genevi aesthetics. Plus, pretty sure there's still a ton of old items I had drawn up for the war that never got used (I know some of them ended up in shops, but not all).

Totally interested in a mock war. If that goes well an official war could be in order, depending on the ideas.

I’d totally be down for all of this stuff. Right now Riku is not as prepared for battle as I’d prefer but he’d at least try. Irl, posting is slow for me lately, but I’m making progress when I can. The siege sounds intense and fun, but would need more than four people, I think. Plus with different activity levels between folks, it may be difficult. We’ll see. The wars are always interesting. Riku is very passionate and loyal, so he’d do well for whatever side caught his heart.
Does all this have to be misc? Cuz I’ve always hated the idea of not gaining levels/credits for ‘fun’...cuz I’m always low on those and can have fun still in areas that gain them. Lol

I like the siege idea, especially the magic (exactly how I’ve always wished Magic worked here). I don’t think I’d have time to do it until after the upcoming tourney. Right now I don’t have much time to post, so the daily requirements to for the battles will take all my attention. (Plus the quest I still need to finish). I don’t care where Riku is placed, attacker/defender, as long as he is given a reason to be passionate about it.
I’d personally rather it be more dire than a painball-war sorta thing...perhaps a plot that leads into the beginnings of the war? Riku needs more (emotional not physical) battle scars.....and a blade through the gut would help with that, even if it was healed the next day.
He’ll be bringing his power-level 4 Malii, Scarlet, who is trained in light moves. Also, she’ll be in the tourney, so that’s another reason he’d have to wait. (I don’t have any other trained pets for battle, and until I can get more Malii breedings to get better stats/colors, I don’t feel like wasting the many, many posts just to be replaced later...plus I don’t have time irl to train anything new lol)
I think 4-6 players total is a good range. Felusine in the mix could be fine if they were trained and sentient enough.

1. I would participate in the siege, I even volunteer my Keep to be attacked, though I still need to move it over to this site.
2. I'd probably be able to do it after the tournament.
3. Defender, and fighter, I think! Definitely challenging battles.
4. Kro! He's technically PL 10 with all of his training and his Elixir of Giant Growth. I also have my custom Tat-Lung and an Equillion who could fight if I need them to.
5. Jack can handle pain. She would go either way with this. If it was a training experience, I'd say like a paintball war, but if it was serious enough like a scout attack for a war or something, then real pain it is.
6. Honestly I'd be fine if it was just you and me, but definitely the more the better!

I’d like to point out that I’d rather not be squashed by a power level 10.....so I wanna be on jack’s side. LOL My eventual Malii will be power level 8 for -cough- reasons, but for now (and probably the next few years) I’m back here in the PL4 range. I mean....a paintball sorta hing could be good practice since Riku is battle-less. Either works.

1. Yes to participation~
2. Combat-wise Darky and her core creatures are pretty much set. Aside a few skills or minor tricks/moves here or there, she should be a-ok anytime.
3. Probably defence/support for her. Most of her creatures are oriented towards some form of crowd control and less towards single target high-damage hitting. Plus, she would enjoy being able to scrounge up materials and crafting them to create useful things for everyone to use. (It may end up with her doing back-end support and the creatures, depending on who, doing the defense).
4. Her core are Mear (Power 6), Nightmare (Power 5) and Detritus (Power 6). A little 'different than normal' but otherwise nothing as remarkable as customs or offspring. Depending on how many pets can be brought she might end up choosing based on use (Mear being more territory control, Nightmare as cavalry, Detritus for AoE) so the power levels aren't necessarily accurate in their challenge depiction.
5. Mock fights, for sure. Also, I like to point out the Pit has items for exactly that (the Stickman items, one for your body, one for your weapon).
6. In terms of the system, the ideal minimum number would be 4 (both because of the micromanagement required to keep the keep safe as well as combat). I hadn't had a maximum in mind, since the original idea would have used NPC enemies that would have been as many as was needed, but one way could be to have the defenders be "down and out" while attackers can come back from being "downed" to try again (at least if going with mock battle). Due to the style of the map and the rules for defending, assuming no attacker can fly, there should be a 1:3 ratio of defender to attacker for it to be effective. Otherwise the defenders can just.. pile on the attackers even before they make it to the walls x3;

In the original idea I had always intended for it to exist in Misc. since the plot elements would have been too wild to carry out in offical regions x3 But if going into official regions, you can limit the defenders to having just one pet per character and I can borrow out some of mine to the attacking side?
As for injuries and healing, I can offer up Evain as a sort of 'neutral side-liner' who can set up tent for healing, since he has the Light alignment.
This will be a question more for the mods, but I'll see if it might not be possible to 'borrow' some of the Pit items just for this event, on the basis its a big thing to pull off and gives everyone something fun to do.

I like the mock siege at the end of your post, haix. The defender-to-attacker defeat sounds like a fun idea, too.

Asked the mods and they said it would be okay to 'borrow' the Stickman things for the event. ICly you can say they got loaned out for a credit donation to the Pit, to be returned after, so no-one actually get to keep them, but people wont have to worry about actual blood x3
Alright, I'll have Evainmoire ready/stand-by for when stuff kicks off then :3 He's got 25 mp to work with, so that's at least 6 Minor Heals to pop a day and Merèdelys also has the Rapid Bloom + Cure combo, so between all of them, should be solid~
