Please note... - The last date to post your introduction post is the 23rd of May. Without an introduction post you cannot battle. - Certain moves can't be used in the Pit because of the surroundings and other moves can affect more than one creature at the same time. After all introduction posts have been posted you will be informed whether those two apply to any of your creatures' moves. - That you have 3 days to post a response to a calculation post and/or roleplay post. The 3 day deadline is not extended if your foe posts after a calculation post. Not meeting the deadline results in an automatic disqualification. - That characters level once every 20 posts in the Fighting Pit, but pets gain levels and loyalty towards their owners normally.

This was exciting, and she didn't know what else to think about it other than that! She was in a tournament again, this time with Kro once more, and she knew he had a chance of winning if they could go with it. Jack chewed on her lip a little as she watched from the stands as Kro came out into the Pit. He simply didn't care, he just wanted to make her happy, though he would never admit to it, ever, but that was okay, she knew it anyway. Jack grinned and watched him, he was massive due to the elixir she had given him, and she'd heard a couple of other Thundergugs had been entered as well. She crossed her fingers and hoped those fights would go well, but there was no way to tell that just yet. She heaved a bit of a sigh and nodded to her Gug, things would be fine then, and she was ready. So was he.
(Ready!)

The Pit had been closed for a long time, since the last of the Sarane clutches had been hatched. He missed the rushed feeling of the Sarane seasons, hurrying to get his Drake battle ready, stressing about watching the competition behind the shield of an untrained brown. And now the Pit was opening back up, but not for Sarane - this was a simple free for all. And yet, here Ashe was, ushering his Sarane into the proper place, before heading up to the stands. He'd started to go toward his side, as per protocol, but he wasn't one for following the rules if they didn't benefit him... So he walked up Jack's side to sit next to his friend.
Below, Ghidorah burst into the arena with a battle roar. He knew this place, he remembered it! He flapped his wings a couple times, stirring up the sand, and faced Kro. He'd never seen an opponent so large before. That didn't stop him!
"Hey, Jack. Should have known you'd be entering that monster." Absentmindedly, he twirled the ring on his finger, his eyes drawn from Jack to his own Sarane. Inyala peered around Ashe's head at the girl, recognizing her and giving her a friendly chirp in greeting. Her little hands curled around strands of Ashe's hair, holding on while he looked from the Pit to his friend and back again. "Ready to go down?" He casts her a smirk, knowing he didn't stand any chance if Ghidorah couldn't get off the ground first.

"Hey there, Ashe!" Jack replied with a grin as she watched Kro and Ghidorah together in the Pit. "Monster? He's a good boy," she told him with a laugh, laughing harder when she heard the grunt down below. "Roar, Kro," she thought over the Ribbon with a smirk on her face. It was the best way to ensure things would go their way when it was time to fight she figured, though Jack almost felt like going easy on her friend. "I believe it is YOU will be going down, by the way," she told him, crossing her arms over her chest, then she smiled at his familiar, "Hey, Inyala, how are you honey?" It was strange seeing people with familiars and magic, she didn't think she would ever have a familiar even though she had plenty of magic at this point.
Oh!
"No more limp! And I have all four elemental greater nodes!" Jack told him, spinning around a bit to show off her new leg as the nodes clacked together in her pouch.

Ashe, too, had decided to use the link to tell Ghidorah what to do. He felt a little shady, sneaking around on his friend like that, but figured with Jack's silence (by way of battle commands) and her smirk, that she had the same idea. [Volar! Sparky, whatever you do, get off the ground fast!] Ashe wasn't sure if Kro was faster than Ghidorah, but he did know he was the fastest Thundergug in the entire city. Huge, tough, fast - if he could just get to the air, use that lightning move...
"Good Monster," Ashe amended, with a teasing grin. He lifted his head and shook it, his hair whipping about his face, not willing to back down. It would definitely be Jack going down! Inyala climbed down Ashe's sleeve to the crook of his elbow, better able to reach Jack from there. She extended her small hand in greeting - like a handshake, just a little more primal. She'd seen people do it. Well, she'd seen Ashe hug people in greeting, or do other things to people in greeting, but those weren't options for her and this was something she could do.
"Oh really? Wow, congrats! Did you manage to find a healer, or...?" Ashe had assumed she'd be stuck with that limp forever, and it didn't seem to bother her terribly. Annoying, sure, but look at everything Jack had accomplished with the limp! And now it was gone! "Damn, Jack! I'm jealous, how the hell did you manage that!" Ashe had managed a minor in Wind, and a Greater in Hollow, but that wasn't nearly as impressive. He was still on the lookout for more. "Is that how you healed yourself, the nodes?"
Ghidorah down below tensed, ready to take flight. Wings snapped open, ready for takeoff.

Kro uses Roar, causing Ghidorah to skip his turn. Since Roar is a sound based attack, Ghidorah's Danger Sense does not activate.
Ghidorah skips his turn.

"Rend Kro, give him all you've got!" Jack cheered on her Gug through their Ribbon as she thought about how to answer Ashe's question. Just how do you answer that anyway? She frowned a little and shook her head before choosing her words carefully.
"I was testing out one of my nodes... A tree was knocked over. Onto me, my leg. It crushed it. My Amphadron was wandering and found us, Renathan and Auburn were there, he had Renathan move the tree, then he cut what was left off and cast some magic on me. It regrew my leg completely to how it was before the first accident happened. Renathan and Auburn took care of me while it grew back," she explained, trying to not shock him too much. It was a shocking story, however, but she shook her head and forced a smile to her face, "But I'm all better now! Just some nightmares... but that's to be expected I guess. Here, take a look at the nodes though!" Jack grinned and opened the pouch at her hip and pulled out the four nodes, making sure to cup them in her hands so they wouldn't roll out. She didn't want to lose them after putting in so much work, earth, wind, fire, and water, she was looking at pieces of her soul, after all.

Ashe winced inwardly at the bellow, realizing Ghidorah was still on the ground when it went off. Inyala, too, clamped her hands over her ears, not appreciating the sudden loud noise. She was used to quiet, or normal sounds! Not that! Thankfully for her, the target was Ghidorah and not her, so the Drake absorbed the brunt of it. The Sarane flinched, wings still open and prepared to fly off, but he was slightly dazed from the sound. He snapped out of it in time to hear Ashe's next command, [Blitz!] Ashe didn't think Ghidorah was going to make it through a single attack of Kro's, and in the off chance he did Ghidorah might not be able to dodge a lightning strike so close, but it was the only way Ashe could think of that they might be able to do some damage. Ashe had no idea who Renathan or Auburn were, but he was able to piece together the rest. "Why didn't I think of that...?" Ashe had a magical orb that could restore limbs. If he would have been there, he might have been able to be the one to save her. He was kind of sad he'd missed out on the chance to be someone's hero, but at the same time... He couldn't imagine cutting off Jack's leg in order to do it. He could be pretty ruthless - not to his friends, though! "Glad your Ampha was able to do that. That's insane, though. Cutting off your leg? Sheesh. Least you got results well worth it! I'd say, nightmares sawing off your own leg..." He shook his head a bit, shocked despite Jack's efforts. This woman.. Perking up a bit, he reached out to take the nodes, inspecting them one by one, his jealousy growing with each touch. "Incredible..." He murmured. [Ghidorah uses Call Lightning]

Calculations
Kro uses Rend
Kro's Dexterity of 7 + 5 rolled by staff = 12 vs. the 6 of Ghidorah Kro will deal the most damage possible
Rend's Damage of 6 + Kro's Strength of 11 Kro deals 17 damage - Ghidorah's Resistance of 5 Ghidorah's Stamina is now at -4
Kro was just a little faster, and before the bolt out of the blue can be called, Ghidorah is knocked down and loses the match!
Ghidorah receives 1 level and 1 point for their participation. Kro receives 2 levels and 3 points for winning.
