Please note...- The last date to post your introduction post is the June 5th. Without an introduction post you cannot battle. - Certain moves can't be used in the Pit because of the surroundings and other moves can affect more than one creature at the same time. After all introduction posts have been posted you will be informed whether those two apply to any of your creatures' moves. - That you have 3 days to post a response to a calculation post and/or roleplay post. The 3 day deadline is not extended if your foe posts after a calculation post. Not meeting the deadline results in an automatic disqualification. - That characters level once every 20 posts in the Fighting Pit, but pets gain levels and loyalty towards their owners normally.

‘We might not have had much luck the first time Rayak, but perhaps with this next fight we will.’ She says softly to Rayak in her mind, already they where in the pit and on time, but she wasn’t sure if their opponent is just running late right now. Hopefully not, but if that does happen to be the case, then at least Rayak would get the chance to rest some more from the lingering aches he has from his last fight. ‘We can only hope so.’ Rayak growls back inside her mind, licking his back in order to groom a couple of hairs back in the right place. While the first fight hadn’t deterred his spirit much, it did take a hit. It was almost like with that dragon, only, with that one he had at least more of an appearance with being able to fight against it then the last one, he felt too slow and powerless at the last fight with that beast. Standing up, he started to do a perimeter check, since they’re opponents aren’t here yet, nor did he currently have the leather bracelet on as she had taken that off him prior to coming here again. He turned his head only for a moment at the bleachers he knew Twilight is sitting behind, and sees her staring at the entrance of their opponent’s door. He didn’t sense anything coming yet, so he merely turns his attention back to what he is currently doing. Surely there will be something he could use against his opponent besides his claws and teeth? Perhaps this layer of sand? It has potential.. Perhaps throwing it in the eyes? Or make him or her sneeze from a cloud of dust whirling up as he takes flight? He sits down, his back aimed at the pit while he faces the wall, trusting Twilight to say when they arrive if he doesn’t sense them sooner then her, with his front paw he scoops up some of the sand, watching it fall from his paw. He didn’t want to lose in this fight either, nor would he make it in any way easy for his opponent if it does appear to end up looking like that.

Lethalia felt the need to accompany Vidarr at least some ways down the hall leading to his 'side' of the pit. There was no doubt in his capability to walk on his own, but the woman didn't care to hasten their departure if her drake decided to shoulder aside workers who were just doing their job. Even given reason to take him out herself, this tunnel itself began to feel like a sacrament, a piece to a ritual she dared not disrupt. So by her drake's side she remained, even if he did seem to roll his eyes as she departed with a kiss to his nose. All the reasons she might come up with to walk him to the sands, it was simply because it felt right.
Never did she believe this rite would become such a familiarity in her life. Here she was, bounding up the steps in sets of two and three so that she could slide into her position along the rails to observe and direct, movements controlled and precise as if she'd done this many times before. It helps set her nerves more at ease, recognizing the Pit as something everyday, and not nearly worth the stress she caused herself -
|What is that?|
Vidarr's sudden demand booming within her skull disrupted the tenuous grasp on 'calm' she'd managed to keep in place, setting off her stupid instincts with a shock of fight-or-flight her brain thought she needed to be prepared for. As for the mosca awaiting a comically larger dragon on the sands... she didn't know what to tell him, other than what he would shrug off. Be careful, she thinks to herself anyway, as her camouflage drake lets out a horrid screech at the deceptively small thing in his sand. Lethalia would know better than to dismiss any foe in this tournament, while Vidarr was consumed with figuring out what on earth a cat was doing here instead of a drake.

Notes
- Vidarr can use all moves and abilities he knows
- Rayak cannot use Climb, Stalk, Hydro Jet, Dig, or Burrow as there is nothing to climb, nothing to hide in, no water, and only a thin layer of sand in the Pit
- Rayak is under the influence of Vidarr's Intimidation and has 4 Strength and 4 Dexterity for the remainder of the battle

Finally Lethalia thought it fit to inform him, |I told you, there's going to be more than drakes here this time.|
Wings rustle against themselves as Vidarr fidgeted in the few still moments he had, head twisting with a slightly nervous shake. Still mindful enough of his owner in the back of his head, the response is met with a withering glare over the shoulder. |Thanks.| Thank you for the obvious, woman. But what does he do about it? There's something of a void, when there's no opposing drake to get his rage really going - what motivation had he for fighting this?
At one point in time she had found herself wondering if he was the right fortitude for the pit. Though he'd gone on to prove that he indeed was capable of it, the drake's old odd mannerisms came back when something caught him off-guard. For all a massive brute he was, such a thing displayed what a dork he still was, just like when he was younger. Lucky others couldn't see the chink in his armor like Lethalia could feel it.
|Roar,| she tells him, knowing well enough he wasn't going to take the reins of this fight like he had the last. Once he was able to see this feline as an opponent, he would likely react - but until then, he's not sure how to approach their opponent. Things would weigh more easily on her mind if he was one of those creatures that could make the decision on their own.

Hs ears twitched at the sound of something coming through the other door, and turned his head in that direction the moment it became clear something is going to come. ‘There here now.’ He heard her mutter inside his mind as he watches the drake step inside the pit, the surprise on his face at seeing him is quite clear before it started screeching at him. He flattened his ears at the sound, hissing lowly at him as he flicks his tail nervously behind him. Again another beast that is quite intimidating in how they present themselves, he could almost admire it, if it isn’t for the fact that he feels his muscles slow to respond. ‘Rayak, use fly!’ He hears her say inside his mind, and he wants to, desperately to get at least a little more of a edge, but just as he tries to jump in the air while he summons his wings. His muscles freeze up at hearing a load roar coming from the drake in front of him.

He growls in annoyance when his muscles have finally stopped freezing up with that sound. Again someone who is able to stop him like that, is it ever going to stop? ‘What do you think Rayak? Want to try jumping in the air for flight once more, or something else?’ That he hears her sound unsure didn’t bring any good feelings with it, he knows he isn’t alone, but at that moment it felt like it. ‘No, that beast will keep the edge it already got even in the air, it’s better to make sure it doesn’t think of it.’ He says when contemplating it for a few seconds. Eyeing the beast and assessing just how fit it might be in getting somewhere fast. His nose wrinkles in distaste with how slow his own muscles feel right now. ‘No, I’ve got a better plan..’ He ends up saying, starting to run within the pit in the hope to avoid any attacks before charging right at it, the loud growling he can't help but emit, a clear challenge against the beast.

Lethalia's brow knitted together as she observer the feline for as long as she was able to; this would be one it would be wise to keep an eye on. Would Vidarr even be able to catch something so small?
|Gust.|
|Why?!|
Gods damn-it. There was no battle of wills she was willing to engage him in just right now. |Vidarr, now!|
As much as she tried not to, she could feel how much every fiber of Vidarr's instincts wished to hunt down most anything with tooth and nail. As if there would ever be a doubt in his mind that something could evade his claws; something this small stood good chance of doing just that. Vast wings unfurl and the webbing snaps with it's sudden engagement, even if his muzzle twists into a snarl. Why couldn't he just sink his teeth into something again? Brief swirling of elemental energy flashes within his wings, cupped for a moment to contain it. Taking a few steps forward to lend him momentum, Vidarr's wings lash with a cutting gale where he thought that vicious blur was last...

Just as Rayak seemed felt ready that he could charge at his opponent, and already shifted his body to lean in the desired direction, a strong wind engulfed him. Making him loose his grip on the ground below, and for a brief moment gets lifted in the air in a unnatural way, he hisses briefly when it happened before he lets out a yowl of pain when he gets slammed against the bleachers and dropped to the ground when the wind stopped blowing. Carefully he picks himself up, and looks blearily in the beast its direction. This wasn’t something he had expected to happen at all, and that force.. Had they trained longer in learning how to blow from softly to something this hard.. Could he have done such a thing as well? ‘Rayak, are you alright?’ He hears her say, it almost made him want to look in whatever direction she is at with how worried her tone sounded for him, but he couldn’t. His foe is still conscious, he will have to do something about that. ‘As fine as one can be when their slammed against wood.’ He murmurs in his mind absentmindedly at her. ‘Right, of course, how silly of me to think you can’t be fine when taking such a attack head on.’ He blinks in surprise at that tone, frowning slightly as he wasn’t certain what to make of it. ‘Want to try the same thing again? We might get more lucky this time.’ She sighs, and he flashes his teeth in anger as he eyes the beast, his tail swishing in agitation. Luck? Luck has nothing to do within a battle, merely the skill it takes to be able to dodge and attack someone frequently enough with large blows to make them stay down. Still, he might be able to dodge a similar attack now that he has seen at least a little on how that beast did it. With that in mind, he started to run once more, determent to at least get a couple of claw marks in the beast its hide.

Though the shedding of blood would have been more satisfying, the drake still swelled at being able to blow their opponent away. It wasn't to say that he could underestimate the wind, but he certainly disregarded it in favor of his own weapons. There was a small chance his winds were a boon in more than just flight like he'd originally thought; it had never been used to such success before! Wings fanned out in a cocky display, crackling growl rolling as his opponent righted himself.
Despite being blown away during his first charge, the mosca comes at him again - something about it is unnerving to Vidarr. Something felt wrong about something so apparently diminutive coming right for him yet again.
|Let's do it again,| she says. |You know how fast the winds are; catch him.| This time it took less convincing, now that he'd been reminded about what his element could do.
