VowGender: Agender Personality and Notes:When talking about the aspect of a 'heart's desire' the concept is taken to.. somewhat literal lengths when it comes to these half-breeds. Half-Rakai, the power of their sire kin's crystalline hearts is only added to by the magical crystal of the gargoyles, though granted, where one is pure and solid, the corrupting nature of shadows does not go without an effect. Encased in a solid rock shell, it is, in fact, literally solid, unlike their gargoyle kin who sport a more malleable kind of 'living' rock skin that shifts and moves as they do. Thankfully most of the rock is shaped into variously sized scales, that shift and slide against one another, allowing the creature to move and live quite comfortably, even though cracks and fissures leave gaps through which one could see the true magic encased inside. Some could even argue whether the soul of the creatures are their bodies or merely the crystal which forms at their core and sprouts outward. There isn't really a lot of room for sentiment in these half-bloods, mostly because they have a hard time relating to beings of more organic and 'squishy' variety. While this does not make them disobedient or notably stubborn compared to other instances, it does create a sense of 'aloofness' where one could almost swear the only thing they do seem interested in is other crystals. While it doesn't make them terribly good companions, at least they could find you some pretty gemstones? Each one seems rather repressed, and has some sort of scar on it's body.. apparently, that is a mark of the dash-claw's ownership over the little creatures. Achieving the perfect balance between volatile static and unstable brain energy was no simple task where these crossbreeds were concerned. It certainly took a few tries to get a result which didn't implode hours after creation. The success is largely attributed to the distribution of this amalgamated psycho-electric energy into the skeletal structure of the creature, placing it across a wider spread of its body, which, coincidently, also caused any and all bone structures it would have (visible or otherwise) to radiate. Due to it constantly shedding off excess energy in small particle quantities, these creatures are able to forego the usual sense of gravity and hover a few feet off the ground. In fact, given their otherwise somewhat lumberous and plated bulk, they even prefer it. This has also been adapted into hunting strategies, where the more traditional stalking and wearing down of prey is replaced by simply falling upon them - most sizeable prey animals simply do not realize to look up. Aerial movement is not quite the same as maneuvering, however, and these creatures may find themselves outclassed against other winged creatures - the bony proto-wing structures along their side and back allow them alterations in course, but are otherwise rigid. Fortunately, although slightly brittle, the psycho-kinetic energies coursing through them usually makes short repair work of any protrusions that end up broken.

The Strange and the Vicious Vishnu Gender: Male Personality and Notes: These large creatures can easily carry a single (non Uthax) rider. They're fast, cold, and calculating. They enjoy "pretty shiny things" - and will not hesitate to strike in order to acquire them, so it's best to give them (shiny) presents every now and again. They're clever, and are quick puzzle solvers. They're fast, agile, and deadly with their claws. Though they do have a nice set of sharp teeth - they prefer to attack with their claws - instead leaping onto their prey with all four feet, and trapping it with their wings. Luckily, like a Gallor, they can be trained - but it may take a bit more work to get over those predatory instincts.. after all, what's to prevent you from being food yourself?

Vodar Gender: Male Personality and Notes: These things... these are interesting. They tower over most creatures, save for pure Gugs, Wiurn, and a select few others. Despite the graceful flow they seem to have, they are still not extremely agile- after all, they have a lot of weight to carry! Though they can get extremely fast... they just have to try to stay in a straight line. Turning and dodging can slow them up a bit. They have thick, smooth hides and a slightly splay-legged way of walking. They are powerful animals; a rare collecter's item- hey, I want one, anyway. But they're more than that- these creatures are efficient carnivores, capable of hunting down most all prey. They stalk the best they can if surrounded by foliage- and if not? They take off full-sprint to catch their target. It's thought that if you put them around Seekers, they could likely become "head of the pack" and manipulate the Seekers into following them- but they can do just as well on their own. If pressed they can chew on vegetation for nutrition, but this won't get them far... can you ride them? Well, there are spikes, but if you can somehow balance on that slope of their shoulder, go for it... but it's not really practical.
