Renathan had never been to Piko Pets before, and he probably would not normally be. He had quite a few pocket pets, and of the ones he kept, he didn't really need them, they didn't have much of a use for him, and it was a real shame. He had several in pocketpet cages with a pocket a piece in them; that way they were going to be a lot easier to sell than he was sure would be too much of an issue. He stepped into the place and looked around at all of the bright colors novel sorts of pocketpets. He wasn't really planning on buying anything today, but was sure a sale would make quite good; he had been planning this for a while, anyway. Most of them were mansion pocketpets for sure. "Good day!" He called out, dragging the little red wagon filled with the stacked pocketpet cages in them. "I am here to sell some of the pocketpets I found at the mansion."
Renathan chuckled a bit, glancing over the group of pocketpets as he put the wagon in a respectful position in front of him. "To be honest, I don't even know what some of these are called. I have six candles, two butterflies, three fire... Things, two snakes, an angler fish, a... Horse... Fish... Three little furry doods, a wispy dood, a lemming, and an owl." That was the best that Renathan had, at least. "Now that I think about it, I believe all of them were found in different months at the mansion." He brought the wagon closer, making sure to be super careful with it, so that she could look at it if she wished. "I packaged them up carefully so that it would be easier for you to pick through them, if you would like." He nodded. "Oh, I am Renathan! Nice to meet you." He was particularly scattered, it seemed, perhaps caught a little off-guard.
Clapping her hands together, she smiled happily, "Of course! Perfect! Let's see..." She counted them carefully, mouthing the words as she counted before she added them all up and nodded, "Alright, I can give 840 credits then!" She smiled and started working on new little cages for them, "Will that be fine?"
Renathan smiled beneath the mask and looked over the loot. He'd been wanting to do this trip for a while, but he'd been putting it off, too. There was too much going on, too much to go see and check out; little chances to find more. Renathan wanted to make sure that he had found as much as he was going to find before doing this trip; so that he didn't have to repeat it for a good long time, at least. "That sounds like a good round number to me, thank you!" He said, fairly cheerily. He was quite happy with that amount, in fact; any amount of credits in the positive was good, but that was especially nice. "Would you like me to help you with the cages?" He said, politely, and truly meaning it. He really enjoyed helping others, even in this event. She felt a bit more approachable than Mavrik was, the only other person he'd really sold to previously in the shops downtown.
"Oh if you'd like, I'd love the help, it's no problem if you're busy though!" Sara said cheerily, starting to sort through some of the pocketpets already, but not before she had counted out the credits and put them into a pouch for him to take home with him.
Renathan smiled beneath the mask out of reflex and nodded, his ears relaxed. He stepped forward, suddenly realized that he hadn't greeted her in the way that his people did, and then also realized that it was probably for the better in all honesty. There was no need to possibly frighten a child with his sharp antlers. Renathan took the pouch of credits and tucked it into his other pouch with credits, and then began to help her. "Oh of course I will help, no need!" Renathan would stay and help until the work was completed, making small talk if she wanted but otherwise just working, and then when the entire task was done, Renathan moved out toward the door merrily with the empty wagon. This was certainly a good venture, today. He was trying to amass credits again, and this was a good enough way to do it, he figured. Pocketpets were not of much use to him.
Twilight-Claw: Thanks for that piece of info Ren! <3 | But would it be allowed for the flavor of the rp if the berry wasn't filling enough for the Lotine?

Renathan: There is no need to double up on a fish and a magical berry (doesn't change the effect of the berry at all) in a lotine breeding.
Jun 1, 2020 6:02:21 GMT -6
Twilight-Claw: Does anyone know if it is possible to combine both a magical berry and a fish in a Lotine breeding? Or is you can only choose one of them? (right now writing a Lotine breeding)

Twilight-Claw: I am still interested in trading it for a green drake.

Riku: I got three pet levels and 15c out of it. <3 And all the necessary posts for my job salary form.

Riku: In mine my crossbreed used foxfire to burn it - but then it used incendiary illusion, which was extra scary because my cross is a plant pet with thick fur. It used the distraction to escape. I’m proud of it, and it’s okay that I won’t finish this month.

Renathan: *But of course, the RNG was not having that. / In Morgan's story, the Nyssa was a real thing, so I wanted to have two different situations for the variety.
May 31, 2020 18:15:27 GMT -6
Renathan: Yeah, the 'finished the story but the RNGods are being a butt' thing is a rather unfortunate situation to be in. I had already decided that in Ren's story, the elderly woman had lied about the nyssa and just wanted someone to talk to*

Riku: That makes sense. I've considered that before. -nod- I hope your non-hxr life is going smoothly.

Haix: Just quitting the job. Don't believe I'll be making the ten posts required per month any time soon. XD
May 31, 2020 16:34:01 GMT -6
Riku: Note to haix, I believe you can post the new application form at the same time as the quitting form. Unless you are simply taking an overall break from the job system.

Fiera Ferella: even AT the gardens yet. XD It sucks when you've finished writing your story and haven't gotten a success, because then its like "well... now what?" XD
May 31, 2020 15:51:47 GMT -6
Fiera Ferella: ive found that when there's a quest that might take longer like this, its a good idea to try and space out the story beats to try and roll a success before i get to the meat of the story. XD Like, by the time i was 5 posts in my character wasn't
