Jewel rocked up with a determined look on his face in an attempt to mask his uncertainty. Supply and Demand was not like any shop he'd seen before - he felt like he was about to wander into someone's sitting room rather than the pet care aisle, but luckily for him, the items stocked on shelves everywhere confirmed that it was not the case. So, where did he go now? He was in his own little bubble as he browsed, in search of a particular pair of items.
He'd only recently come face to face with a Chiryma, so searching for tack for one seemed foolish. Nonetheless, there he was.
He was lucky that they looked so different from the rest of the options. The red leather stood out to him and caught his eye - without a second to spare, he scooped a matching saddle and bridle into his arms, and trotted them to the counter a little haphazardly.
"Hi," He offered Kale a wink. "I'd love to get these, thanks."
Kale had heard the front door jingle, and he turned around from his painting, wet brush in hand. The individual was a petite fae, from the looks of it. He waved to the customer, but it seemed that the customer was an individual on a mission with that determined look. He seemed to be in his own little world. Kale was not one to cling to conflict, so he just smiled and glanced over his painting at the customer every now and again, as he continued to paint. After a moment or two, the customer was up front, carrying some chiryma mount gear. "Nice to see ya!" He said, kindly. "Looks like a good start, are you sure you didn't want one of the cute little name tags with bells? People love those for their chiryma." He sure was friendly, with that smile. "If not, that's fine. Those two by themselves are 90 credits altogether." He said, jovially. Today was a good day for him, so he was in an especially nice mood.
The shopkeeper was a sweetie, that was for sure. Jewel looked him over as he spoke - still taller than him, but not by a whole lot, and with a delicate, almost feminine quality to his appearance. It almost sounded reasonable to assume that the man had Fae in his blood somewhere.
"Great to see you too," He responded enthusiastically. "Huh! That does sound cute. Maybe I'll come back for a real browse next time, and you can show me around."
90 credits... he was loath to already let go of what little he'd earned doing silly jobs for the locals, but needs must. Jewel didn't rush himself, taking his time to count them out (he didn't want Kale to think he was trying to take him for a ride), and once all was in order, he held them out for him to take.
"90 credits right there for you." He cast a glance over to Tranquility. "I have one like her. Beautiful Izer, Mr...?"
Kale watched as the customer counted, and made sure that the amount was correct before he nodded. "Of course." He said, kindly. He helped people all the time, and obliviously didn't realize that he might have been being flirted with. "Thank you-" He turns around and looks at the Izer, grinning. "Oh, she is certainly lovely, thank you! You'll give her a big head, though." He swiped the credits into his lockbox, and shut it, as he answered. "I'm Kale, how about you?" He said. Anything if not polite!
What a sweetheart. Jewel was charmed, even more so that Kale didn't appear to realise that he was being flirted with.
"I'm Jewel. Nice to meet you, Kale," He said. "I hope to see you again soon. You have a good day, okay?"
He hadn't considered the logistics of carrying his tack around without a decent sized bag. Well, he'd have to make do - he slipped his arm into the bridle to hook it on his shoulder, and draped the saddle over one forearm. The colour looked decent on him. Perhaps he'd have to invest in some red riding boots to match.
It was a shame to leave, after such a nice experience. Still, he didn't want to hang around and tempt himself out of more credits, so he headed for the door before anything else caught his eye. When he reached it, he turned to give Kale one last cheery wave, then slipped out onto the street.

Renathan: I've been meaning to ask- is a person considered out of the shop when the shop transfer is posted/items are given, or when the shop thread is locked?
