A Chaotic Storm

So she was a dream? That didn't make sense, and the mammalian frowned at those words. What was happening? A storm was brewing, and a soft breeze chilled her to the bone. She could feel it coming, the rain and thunder in the distance. The chaos of the storm, not unlike the chaos and insanity that usually occupied her head. It wasn't pretty, and she could feel the mood and atmosphere change with the coming gale. But, she was in a cavern? How could this be. The shiny riches stretched across the ground, but oddly enough she wanted nothing to do with it. She never remembered herself being a materialistic person, but how could somebody ignore all the riches and mystery that surrounded them? Yet, the desire wasn't there. The cave was dark... but at the same time it wasn't. She wasn't even entirely sure how she had gotten here. That was funny, how dreams were. She had never been in a dream, or the dream itself. So they were both part of the dream?
"I don't understand. How do I think of what the dreamer looks like. I can't even get grips on the fact that there is a dreamer who is not myself."
But something told her to close her eyes, to focus on the dreamer. What was it that the dreamer looked like? She couldn't really see an appearance, but she could feel things.
"I feel... at peace. I feel like my mind is calm. Whoever is dreaming... calms me. But at the same time, I can feel the storm inside of them. Is it the storm inside my head? Perhaps the storm is taken from me..."
The mammalian trailed off, looking at the ghostly figure beside her. Her off white coat almost disappeared in the darkness, but the treasures glimmered around her. The source of light, she wasn't sure where it was coming from...
"There are fangs, I can see that now. It has teeth, but I'm sure that isn't all that special... I'm sorry I'll try harder. Oh wait. There is something oozing from them I think... I'll try to see what it is. Oh. The mouth is closed once more. Maybe I was wrong. It's turning away, I can just catch of glimpse of their eyes.. It's chaotic, like no colour I've ever seen before. I can feel their gaze... I can still feel the storm. I'm not sure if this creature is related to the weather. I feel the chaos again, its frightening in a way but I know that I am safe. It is funny to think about. It doesn't make sense. I can feel the weather changing again around me, and I think the dreamer is part of that. I don't know if they're causing it, or if they are changing too."
She could feel the desire to think harder, and she strained in her brain to look for the answer.
"I'm trying to see more, but I think there's more feelings than anything. There are five toes on each foot, but I think something is different about them... I'm sorry I can't pinpoint what it is." She felt like a disappointment. "I'm sorry, I'm trying so hard. My brain has never been this calm before, and it's odd for me to trying to think like this." She thought some more, "I can't see the colours, or the shape, but it feels like a storm. I know I keep going back to the weather, and that can't be right. It's like the storm that is usually in my brain is part of the dreamer. The body of this dreamer, it moves with ease, I can't even make out how many limbs it has, or even if it has fur or scales. Could be skin... I'm sorry I just don't know."
The mammalian slumped back, unable to search anymore. She really didn't know what the dreamer looked like, just how it felt.
"That's all I know. Is that enough about who the dreamer is?"
She could feel the chaos, and part of her began to feel afraid. Her brain began to cloud again with it's own storm once more. "How long will I be trapped in this dream?"
(Internal Storm. A chaotic creature, with three toes, two 'thumbs' for a total of five. Doesn't matter if it's scales, fur or a combination of both.)
