Detritus skips his turn
Vidarr uses Pounce + Crunch Vidarr's Dexterity of 7 + 8 rolled by staff = 15 vs. the 11 of Detritus Vidarr will deal the most damage possible! Vidarr's Stamina of 1 + 6 damage of Crunch = 7 damage 7 - Detritus' Resistance of 6 = 1 Detritus' Stamina is now 7

There was a certain manner of growing dread as the mammalian watched the drake take off, heading for the tat-lung. Run-step by run-step the pattern was falling into place as she began to realize what the play was. And Detritus, the poor thing, still lightly bounding on his feet wasn't making himself nearly as difficult of a target as he could have. Move, she wanted to call out, move, move, move! But his head was ringing, so calls both vocal or telepathic were likely to come through a cloud, not the much more dreadful static, but a simple ringing of his mind and ears. The drake closed the gap, jumped as Darky feared he would, and Detritus turned his head to the sound, finally focusing on the opponent just in time to see him fill his entire field of view with many pounds of sarane, rage and teeth.
The tat-lung was swept off his feet and into the ground, a cloud of sandy dust thrown up, while the mammalian almost closed her eyes, expecting that to be the end of it. It usually was. Time and time again, with Cathàn, with Mear, in so far no-one had survived the tackling if actually hit.
But, she blinked, there wasn't a dull silence. He still felt, he still thought. He was still standing, against reason. Her head whipped back around, almost leaning over the railing to get a better look at the commotion. The dust cloud cleared and the tat-lung was pushing the drake off, nicked and scratched where the teeth scored his hide, but still standing and surprisingly not nearly as worse for wear as he should have been. Detritus kicked and squirmed, getting himself out from under the drake and quickly snaked his way aside, to put some distance between them. What now? he asked, unaware of the luck the spirits had just granted him, and Darky wasn't about to mortify him with it.
He's fast, agile. Hurt, but that doesn't mean he can't be elusive. It was doubtful they would get such second chances again, whatever they had to do, they needed to make it count. There was only one way to trap something quick - give it nowhere to run to.
"Det, chain," she more said, than called, removing her hands from the railing just in case. The Pit had precautions in place (they had to have) but even so, they had never tried it before within its confines. In the middle of the forest, to a horde of undead, yes. Within civilized walls? There was a first for everything.
The flickering glow of the tat-lung's eyes restored to full, his head looking up to the skies once more. There was a spark above, a rumble and he closed his eyes, bracing for impact. Lightning struck down, hitting the tat-lung, bathing him in a bright white crackle of a bolt. And then it went everywhere, like a sudden spider-web crack spreading across glass, filling the entire arena.
( Detritus uses Chain Lightning )

Wavering consciousness jolted awake by the tat-lung slithering out from beneath his mass, Vidarr staggered upright once again. Another moment in the dust and surely the pit heralds would have deemed him knocked out. The drake just hadn't the strength left him him to use his entire body as a battering ram like he normally could.
Lethalia reeled back from the reeling for a moment, swearing, heels of palms pressed against her eyes. The satyr had made her first mistake, not guiding her drake near as much as she should have - and Vidarr was going to pay the price for her slip.
Please, you can just stay down... There wasn't a bone in his body that would allow for that to happen, but she would pray it all the same. He was going to make her do this to the fullest measure, and Lethalia had always known it. Being trained to, just barely, withstand those mammoth hits... he was still standing for certain, but the satyr hadn't fully considered what that would mean. This... this was a hard outcome to come to terms with. She didn't want to drag him through this, even if he would keep popping back up, again and again, as long as there was strength left in him to fight.
This is what it means to be a drake. High time she was reminded of their nature.
The only thing he could do now to extend his suffering was fly, and Lethalia didn't expect the drake to be in any state to consider it; he could flail about in whatever way he wanted as far as she was concerned. Tat-lung aglow with energy once more, Lethalia couldn't find it in herself to withdraw from his mind in preparation for the inevitable hit, instead pressing against him with as much of a pillar of support she could.
|Vidarr probably isn't using Crunch|
