The Flashfire could at least be grateful she was cleaning out it's kennel, she figured, but that wasn't really in it's head at the moment. Still mad at being given away, it chittered and chattered to her a little as she cleaned out it's kennel, wondering how much it might be swearing at her at the moment instead of being nice. She sighed a little, it didn't matter much, but at least Tobi was with her right now, and that was a good thing. If they shared a Ribbon, maybe things would go better, but she really didn't know... Jack shifted a bit and shook her head, unsure of what to do about things at the moment no matter what. It was fine, she figured, but that wasn't much to her at the moment either. In the long run, she knew doing this would be good for the animals, but she didn't know if it was good for her.

Jack pushed her hair back and then finally finished cleaning out the Kennel for a bit before she put it back into the kennel as well and shut the little gate in front. It was happy to be back, though it stared at her with wicked eyes for a moment or two as well. Jack sighed a little and shook her head, unsure of what to do about things as of yet, but that was fine. At least she had a reason to be here, she figured, and it wasn't to adopt anything from the APAA, at least not at the moment. There was a pocketpet she was eyeing, but she didn't know if she should try for it or not. Jack sighed and stretched, feeling a little cramped after cleaning a few of the smaller kennels. Tobi landed on her shoulder and nuzzled up to her for a moment, not knowing what else to do for her.

Unlike things for her now, she hoped that she would be alright in the long run. Things were rough for her at the moment, and she would be fine eventually she knew, but it was always like this every now and then, she couldn't get rid of the thought or ideas that flitted about in her mind from time to time. Jack sighed a little and glanced over at the next animal, a Cyclone Izer, and frowned a bit. When were the Izers going to run out already? This looked like the last one, which was good for her at this point she thought with a little smile as she walked over to the kennel and leaned down to look inside of it. The Cyclone didn't seem to recognize her, which was fine for her at the moment. She didn't know what else to think of at the moment, which was fine as well.

Taking the Izer out of the kennel, she set it on the perch and watched as Tobi lifted up to sit next to it. At least this one didn't seem to care one way or another, she thought with a little snort. Jack pushed her hair back and got to work in the kennel, cleaning out the old papers and putting new ones in, freshening up the scent of it and doing her best to make it livable. She didn't know anything else at the moment, but that was fine in the same way she thought with a little smile on her face. Jack wasn't sure what to do with things right now, which was fine, and she shrugged a little bit as she tried to figure out what to do at the moment. Without a doubt, at least she was getting ready to get another Orbaru from the APAA at least, though that wasn't the only motivation.

Tobi flew around a bit as she put the Izer back into the kennel and then glanced at the next one. That one was sad, and she'd hated to do it, but she'd had to, it was the best thing to do. Feeling rather defeated, she shook her head and Tobi landed on her shoulder nuzzle her a little again. It was going to be fine she knew, nothing was going to go wrong in between the two of them, and she hoped that things would be fine no matter what. Jack pushed her hair back and thought about training Tobi up a little bit no matter what, and she smiled a little, now might be a good stopping point, she thought for a moment, and she wondered if she could come back and keep working after they were done. Of course she could, it was just whether or not she wanted to at this point, it seemed.
