Please note...- The last date to post your introduction post is the August 22nd. Without an introduction post you cannot battle. - Certain moves can't be used in the Pit because of the surroundings and other moves can affect more than one creature at the same time. After all introduction posts have been posted you will be informed whether those two apply to any of your creatures' moves. - That you have 3 days to post a response to a calculation post and/or roleplay post. The 3 day deadline is not extended if your foe posts after a calculation post. Not meeting the deadline results in an automatic disqualification. - That characters level once every 20 posts in the Fighting Pit, but pets gain levels and loyalty towards their owners normally.

‘Well… That was an embarrassment I won’t have to repeat for the both of us.’ She comments while walking in the hallway leading towards the pit. Rayak right at her side as he walks, flattening his ears at that reminder. ‘Yes, it definitely was.’ He agreed. They had responded too late in whatever action they could have taken against the rather familiar owner when Rayak remained frozen. Honestly, she felt like that fight would have been something Rayak might have enjoyed as well as he and Tat-Lungs tend to be almost equally matched in strength and skill against each other if they play it right. When the doors of the pit came in sight Rayak’s ears perked up, his tail twitched in a way that shows he is more nervous than curious about what is going to happen, but he is still in a good enough mood to feel just slightly optimistic with this fight compared to the ones from before. “In you go.” She says while opening the doors for him, allowing him to step inside first, and when he did, she closed the doors again. Taking the stairs leading to the bleachers where it is on a higher spot. For some reason she feels like this might end up being a battle of flight more then on fought on the ground. ‘There not here yet.’ She hears Rayak mention to her as she climbs the stairs till she reaches a door. Opening it, she smiles at seeing the arena from a much higher point of view then before, its not something she does all that often either. ‘That’s good. Why don’t you stretch your limbs a bit? Get them ready for when you need to move quickly?’ She says idly back in her mind too him, seeing the empty pit grounds for now. A large crowd is already starting to form and take up other spots on the bleachers, but the one she is in, is one only meant for participants and separated from the other people by extra wood on the sides and behind her. Looking down into the pit again she sees Rayak sprout his wings out, and stretching himself by raising his rump in the air and stretching first his front paws as best as he can. And then switches by raising his front and stretching his wings out behind him, his hind paws clawing the ground as he stretches them. When that is done, he shakes his whole body for a moment, puffing up before having it lay flat after a minute of simple sitting down and facing the doors of their would be opponent’s. He’s ready now, she can tell that quite well.

Ashe was surprised when his opponent beat him to the arena. He could tell mostly by the thrum of the crowd, which would have been quieter if there was nothing there to entertain them. As it was, his opponent must be there, and the pet must be moving around. Ashe didnt know who he was going against, but he had a good feeling. The pair of them were doing great! Ashe felt great and he was sure Ghidorah felt great as well. The sarane walked alongside him, a snarl building up, as Ashe led him to the pit. "Now, no fighting until I get in there. Wait for my command, Sparky." Ashe put a hand on Ghidorahs forehead, but the drake was too keyed up to tolerate a loving goodbye. He growled and moved his head, eagerly pushing through the doors when he was allowed. Ashe watched him go, glanced at Inyala on his shoulder, then hurried on his way.
The pair made it up into the stands, and saw the familiar faces there. While he didnt really know Twilight exactly, he'd seen them around. And knew enough about Rayak to know that he was formidable for his size. Ashe wondered how he would fare against a Sarane! They were about to find out. Inyala leaned forward on his shoulder, watching, knowing at any second the fur would fly.

Calculations
-Rayak cannot use Climb, Stalk, Hydro Jet, Dig, or Burrow as there is nothing to climb, nothing to hide in, no water, and only a thin layer of sand in the Pit
-Ghidorah can use all the moves and abilities he knows

Rayak had been waiting for a while in the pit, amusing himself with watching the door, or looking at the crowd, sometimes commenting to Twilight when he got bored. But when the doors opposite him started opening up he stands up again, backing off for a moment to be closer to the bleachers and at Twilight’s side, even though she has placed herself in a higher position. He eyes the dragon with flattened ears and hair that starts to bristle on the back of his neck and back as he swishes his tail, while this one didn’t give the air of danger so much as his previous opponents, he didn’t trust it. It was perhaps two minutes later that the signal is giving for the battle, and Rayak felt sick of waiting so long, the dragon seemed eager to start as well. Kneading the sand under his paws for just a moment he hears Twilight talk inside his mind quickly enough for what he could do next, though, if she had waited a moment later, he would have acted just as well. ‘Can’t say I know of that drake in particular, but the owner I think I remember vaguely from previous battles. Best to use fly first Rayak, might not have worked in the other battles so far, but I have a feeling this one might.’ He growls under his breath at the reminder of his last battles, but he did approve of it this time, his opponent felt slower. Unfolding his wings, he makes a jump for the sky while beating his wings at the air to rise higher.

Ghidorah saw the cat spread its wings suddenly and take off; instinct demanded he follow it, like a cat staling a mouse, he had to! He unfurled his wings, braced for the command he wanted Ashe to give him. But it didn't come. Instead came the word for the loud move, one that Ghidorah also enjoyed doing, but it wasn't what he wanted right now!
[Sparky, dröhnen!] There was a hesitation in his Sarane, and Ashe frowned slightly. He had his wings open, he could easily do this and he always listened - what was wrong? It was then Ashe noticed the way Ghidorah was watching Rayak take off and fly, and it dawned on him that he really wanted to go after, and attack, the smaller animal that fled from him. Interesting response. [Sparky, focus. Dröhnen!]
This time, Ghidorah was able to snap back into the game and he reared back on his hind legs, snapping his wings as hard as he could. The sound was similar to a crack of thunder, and would normally startle everyone in the room - from the spectators, to the opponent. It definitely startled Inyala, though she was expecting it and even sat with her hands over her ears. Ashe reached a hand up to stabilize her and offer reassurance.

While Ghidorah was reared up, it would be a great take off position, using those powerful hind legs to kick off. So Ashe quickly switched gears and sent the second command his way. [Volar!] Ashe told his beloved Drake. Outwardly, he made no motion, gave no indication of his plans. He wished he was able to use Ghidorah's normal methods, either the pounce and bite or the lightning - but neither of these would work on Rayak. Mosca were fast enough on the ground, but add flying to the mix and he felt like he was dealing with that Tat-Lung all over again. He wouldn't waste an attack on that, but in order to land anything, he had to get into the air first.
Ghidorah launched into action - and launched into the air. He flapped his mighty wings a few times and shoved off with his legs, taking to the air. It was a little more awkward than a normal take off, but Ghidorah could handle it, and soon he was flying after the Mosca to try and catch it, just like he wanted to in the first place!
It wasn't until Ghidorah was in the sky that Inyala took her hands off her ears, trusting sounds to not split her eardrums. After a pause, she decided the coast was indeed safe, and she relaxed a little bit.

Wings beating at the sky to gain a higher ground, he felt surprised that finally he is actually able to reach it in the first place, usually his opponents stop him before he could even make a jump for it, and now that it doesn’t seem to be the case he flies as high up as he can. Glancing briefly at the dragon on the ground he automatically flattens his ears as he sees the dragon is just as eager to join him. Should that be the case it might be better to go even higher? Yet, when he tries he hears a terrible sound, the sound of thunder without lightening flashing in the sky, freezing his muscles long enough that he is descending to the ground at a alarming rate. ‘Rayak, spread those wings, beat them again! Just fly!’ He hears Twilight say, but even with those words it took a few precious seconds to make the muscles in his wings move enough to spread them and glide for only five seconds to avoid further falling, and then commanding them in his mind to beat at the wind once more. Raising higher in the air, and finding out he isn’t as alone in the sky as he used to be for that one minute. He snarls at the dragon when their eyes meet, clearly it used the distraction to fly up in the sky as well.

Eyes were on the black and gold Sarane as he climbed through the air, wings pumping, making up for lost ground and quickly covering the distance between himself and the legendary cat. His gaze was locked on, his body like a speeding bullet. Any second now and the Mosca would snap out of the shock from the distraction he'd made, any second Rayak would turn around and attack. But if Ghidorah could get there first... Or so the Sarane was thinking, though the trained eye would see what was coming before Ghidorah could even react to it.
[Mordre!] Ashe commanded. The Sarane was close enough to perform the attack. Oh, how Ashe wished he could use his booster... But Rayak in the sky was too fast, and there was no way to pounce in the air! So he would have to settle for a bite move and hope Rayak wasn't made out of steel himself. He wouldn't be shocked, honestly. The Mosca was a war hero and had beaten another of his pets in battle before. But it was worth a shot. Inyala chirped a little concerned sound, almost a soft choke. She was worried for the Sarane, picking up on Ashe's thoughts about Rayak. But she was tense, picking up on the slight possibility that things could work out. Tension made her body rigid and it was all she could do to hang on.

She felt nerves that such a move was used while Rayak was in the sky, and that his whole body froze? Even worse then that as she sees his muscles freeze up, and he just, he just drops from the sky! ‘Rayak, spread those wings, beat them again! Just fly!’ She mentally shouts at him, willing him to just take control of his body again. She watches how at the last moment he is able to spread them for a bit to at least glide before he is able to be in full control again. Beating his wings hard to rise higher in the air. She hadn’t noticed that the owner of the Drake took the opportunity to have his fly up in the air as well, but it makes sense for that to happen. No one likes facing off against a faster opponent, especially if that makes it even harder to get a hit in. ‘Rayak lets use Rend, try to hit a weak spot if you can!’ She decides a moment later, she doesn’t know if the Drake might be able to dodge the first one, but with the way that their gazes are locked, Rayak seems eager to start the confrontation with a bang. With a loud snarl coming out of his mouth, she sees Rayak heading straight for the Drake, his claws at the ready.

‘What the?!’ She thought when seeing how the Drake dodged the claws, and was able to strike back at Rayak by biting him at the side just before his hips start, letting go just as Rayak’s pained scream ended, and a snarl could be heard even from the bleachers. ‘Rayak, are you alright?’ It’s a stupid question perhaps as the scream of pain isn’t one she often heard him do as by that time he usually reaches unconsciousness, but when he does, it is for serious reasons. ‘I think he could use a toothpick.. What do you think I am feeling right now?! He still has some of my skin stuck to his teeth!’ With how Rayak is both yelling, and growling out his words, she feels an pseudo headache building that could very well turn into a real one should he continue to scream inside her mind in both rage and pain. ‘Right, stupid question.’ She mutters to him, eyeing Rayak’s condition. While he still seems to have his wings beat at the air in a good rhythm to still be able to fly, she can she closest to where he got bit that the hindleg on that side is hanging loosely instead of at the ready, the bloodred she sees at that spot close to it is also getting more by the second. ‘If we finish this quickly the healers hopefully know how to recover the skin and fur as well as any bones you may have broken.’ She can’t say for certain if he has, but it could just as well be that some muscles got ripped that connect the leg. ‘So Rayak, lets pay them back in kind, shall we? Use Crunch!’ Rayak seemed to be beyond words in his mind as he snarls in rage at the Drake, flashing his fangs before changing his wing pattern to charge straight ahead, right at the Drake! Hopefully he’ll get at least one hit in so that he can cool his rage at least a little, she can't help but think as she grips the railing of the bleachers tightly.

Ghidorah had never bitten into anything soft like that, that he could remember. It had a completely different texture and resistance than drake skin did, and even hen skin was different. This was soft, and the hairs left over tickled his tongue. He had bitten down and drew blood, tasting the warm flesh and wanting to tear it to shreds like the hicks of meat Ashe threw him sometimes for meals. But there was a yowl unlike any he had heard, definitely not the roar of an angry wounded drake! And he had let go as a result. Now, he flapped his wings and moved away from the mosca, but circled back because he knew there would be the command for the finishing move. And sure enough, the call came.
[Mordre!] Ashe commanded again. His eyes were on the mosca, watching the fur soak up the blood. He looked hurt- and Ashe almost felt bad. But he knew Rayak was tough enough to handle a little bit of temporary pain before getting healed up properly.
As Ghidorah swooped into action, Inyala leaned forward, urging him on. She gripped Ashes shoulder a d hopped up and down a little bit, as if trying to make Ghidorah get there faster, win the battle faster! The Sarane was, of course, oblivious.
