Morgan had not been planning on creating a garden in their general homeward area; but once they had found out about the existence of certain rideable dragon-oaks, they had practically raced to figure out how would be best to produce a small garden, at the very least, for one of those. After a bit of research, they decided that they certainly must have three creatures for their future garden; a pachee; preferably one of the baby ones because they were adorable- a lotine (preferably a rare color; so growing a lola was the best option), and of course said elusive dragonoak. Morgan knew how to outsource each of these desired pets, they were sure that the Jackalope would give a few of his own up, but Morgan needed to pick up those pesky potions. Only Nature's Bounty stocked them anymore, from what they had heard, so they showed up there quietly, dressed in understated but still nicely tailored clothing in dark blacks. "Good day. I am looking for a couple of potions, if you still have any for the month." Morgan would get this done quickly and quietly, they decided. Discreet.
Buying List: -Potion of Lola Maturity x1 : 300 Credits -Potion of Chichi x1 : 200 Credits (Total- 500 Credits)
"Hello there!" Turner called, rising from where he was kneeling with his special ribbon orbaru to greet the customer. Ah, this one was right to the point - everybody had somewhere to be lately, didn't they? That was fine, making a quick coin and being able to return to maintaining the store was never something he could complain about. "I've still got plenty of potions, at least one of everything I make," Turner confirmed with a smile, "Almost all of mine are for orbaru - some to change their breed, and offspring's markings. Aside from Orbaru, I've got one to grow lola, and anti-grow pachee. Are... any of those the kind you're looking for?"
Morgan was surveying the situation as they typically did; state their piece and then wait a moment as they other individual answered. Watching body movements, facial expressions, and listening to the tonality of the answer was something that they did in real-time and quickly, without being noticed most often. It would seem that turning up the charm just a tad would work decently, so Morgan nodded, and after nodding gave a slight lop-sided grin- as good natured as they possibly could. "Ah, you are a mind reader! I'd like one for growing lola, and one for anti-growing pachee." They were pleased, of course, since potions often went out of stock at other shops quite quickly. They pulled a wallet from their pocket pretty quickly, at that. "What all do I owe you, of course, for the two?" They didn't mind getting this done quickly, but of course they had came here before, and knew that this shopkeeper was sometimes a little verbose, and that was fine too. It was important to be polite too, of course.
The ease of some sales would never cease to amaze him sometimes, even if it was nice when people came in knowing exactly what they wanted. There wasn't much a need to ask it they wanted anything else, in this case. As he walked over to take the potions off of their shelves, Turner nodded and told them, "Five hundred even, for those two." Both potions were taken off of the shelf and shown with a brief smile, the ones that stood out a little from the rest for their more unique bottles, and set on the countertop to wrap once the credits were handed over.
Morgan was pleased already, of course, seeing those two potions. Sure, they would need to actually get a hold of a lola, and of course a pachee too, but this was the first step. They liked to have everything all sorted out before working on actually getting the creatures. The bespectacled human had halfway expected that there wouldn't be any more potions to get, but this worked perfectly. "Certainly, five-hundred is fair." Morgan said, meaning it too. It wasn't like there were many people in the Labs that made potions, and those fair few could price their potions at whatever they wanted to. Someday, Morgan wanted to learn enough chemistry to be able to make some kinds of salves theirself, but they doubted they'd ever get so far as the so-called 'potion'. They pulled the credits out of their wallet and handed them over, before folding the billfold and putting it back into their pocket carefully. "Thank you, sir."
"Great!" A deft counting of credits between his fingers before turning to the potions to be wrapped in a swath of paper for the trip home. Placed side-by-side in a handled bag, Turner offered it out to the customer in no time at all. "I hope they're just what you're looking for!" he bid as he handed the bag off to the customer, hopefully they were pleased!
Morgan: No one knows yet. But I did want to make it clear that the jar itself isn't used for lotine husbandry in any way. c:

Twilight-Claw: I'm only assuming that it does something similar like a Fungal Beast that infects a Leaf-scatter. (the one with moss and I think it was a pink flower growing on the head.)

Silver: I'll try it soon and we'll find out!
Jun 5, 2020 4:16:11 GMT -6
Silver: I don't think anyone knows yet!
Jun 5, 2020 4:16:05 GMT -6
Darky: What did the 'infection' do again?
Jun 5, 2020 4:14:43 GMT -6
Twilight-Claw: Thanks for this information, its really useful to know! <3
Jun 5, 2020 4:14:30 GMT -6
Morgan: The lolatic doesn't disappear after one use, and can be reused on the same lotine when it is allowed to 'infect' a lotine- to my knowledge.
Jun 5, 2020 1:41:37 GMT -6
Morgan: The only effect/thing that the jar can be used for is to open up into a lolatic. The jar itself has no use in lotine breedings.
Jun 5, 2020 1:39:52 GMT -6
Twilight-Claw: and the jar is then gone, if with the creature I am more guessing with this the creature doesn't disappear and it has unlimited use.
Jun 5, 2020 0:17:55 GMT -6
Twilight-Claw: Something else I am wondering about with the Lotine breeding is whether one would use the jar the Lolatic comes from in the breeding, or actually the creature itself. I'm assuming with it if its the jar, then it gives people only one shot in a breeding,
Jun 5, 2020 0:16:08 GMT -6
Twilight-Claw: Then using it in my rps is definitely just for the sake of rp's and not for anything additional.
Jun 5, 2020 0:12:17 GMT -6
Renathan: Fish are unlimited use once bought though. c:
Jun 4, 2020 22:31:17 GMT -6
Renathan: There's no additional effect for adding a fish to a magical berry in a lotine breeding. Magical Berry is kinda it's own thing. Adding a fish for roleplay value shouldn't hurt, but it has no effect when used on a magical berry lotine breeding.
Jun 4, 2020 22:27:14 GMT -6
Twilight-Claw: be just for the sake of rp, and perhaps seeing if it might lent a bigger chance to multiple offspring with unique pattern. X3
Jun 4, 2020 15:31:01 GMT -6
Twilight-Claw: I think your right on it being unlimited use yeah, although.. *cough* I only found out a couple hours after I started writing that I had yet to buy the fish in question so used the one you could get for free as a replacement, it still was meant to mostly
Jun 4, 2020 15:30:59 GMT -6
Riku: From what I loosely understand about the fish is that it isn't one-use, whereas the berry is. I feel like there wouldn't be any consequence of 'using' the fish...which I'd think just ooc wouldn't be counted for whatever rolls or whatever it is that it uses
Jun 3, 2020 14:14:30 GMT -6
Twilight-Claw: Thanks for that piece of info Ren! <3 | But would it be allowed for the flavor of the rp if the berry wasn't filling enough for the Lotine?
Jun 1, 2020 6:09:21 GMT -6
Renathan: There is no need to double up on a fish and a magical berry (doesn't change the effect of the berry at all) in a lotine breeding.
Jun 1, 2020 6:02:21 GMT -6
Twilight-Claw: Does anyone know if it is possible to combine both a magical berry and a fish in a Lotine breeding? Or is you can only choose one of them? (right now writing a Lotine breeding)
Jun 1, 2020 5:36:49 GMT -6
Twilight-Claw: I am still interested in trading it for a green drake.
