Please note...- The last date to post your introduction post is 72 hours from this post. Without an introduction post you cannot battle. - Certain moves can't be used in the Pit because of the surroundings and other moves can affect more than one creature at the same time. After all introduction posts have been posted you will be informed whether those two apply to any of your creatures' moves. - That you have 72 hours to post a response to a calculation post and/or roleplay post. The 3 day deadline is not extended if your foe posts after a calculation post. Not meeting the deadline results in an automatic disqualification. - That characters level once every 20 posts in the Fighting Pit, but pets gain levels and loyalty towards their owners normally.

At the very least, Vidarr was pleased with himself for his capability of still being able to beat out another drake. So much for all the humility she thought this tournament was going to give him - even with being swatted out of the sky, struck down by lightning, he was as confident as ever. All the concern the drake had at the moment was backing in the glory of his current wins; Lethalia wished she had the capabiltiy of taking therises and falls of the battles in such stride. That was probably why he enjoyed it so much more than she ever could.
He had fallen so into a daze with the battles, he hadn't really been talking all that much the last few times. As they made their way down the hallway for the last time this go, Lethalia reached over and patted Vidarr's great shoulder, shaking him out of his zoned-out readiness to get into the pit.
|Y'know this is the last one?| she prodded, honestly not sure how he'd take the news being broken to him. Not that this tournament had been short, but it felt like nothing but blood and (for Vidarr) glory that dragged on ages, his rage and the gore taking a toll on her that long season. Luckily, this time was... better. Even if he came out of it even more cocky, she felt as though Vidarr learned at least something, and she might have even gotten a slightly better understanding of how the drake worked.
Vidarr blinked a little, as if the concept hadn't really occurred to him just yet. Funny how that was enough to jar him into looking thoughtful, for once. |No... already?|
|I think I'm ready,| she told him earnestly. It was nice to be able to give Vidarr this, but she was exhausted.
|Yes,| he told her, earning an instant giggle. |Should stay home next time,| the drake offered, surprisingly sincerely.
|I'll have to think about it,| Lethalia told him, finding it hard to not be charmed. |Alright, get going.| Their talking brought his giant head close enough that she could give him a quick hug and a kiss, like she used to when he was younger. Of course he had just enough drake energy to look affronted about it, but the fact that her affection was tolerated said enough. She released him to part ways to their posts, ignoring the stinging in the back of her eyes. He was still capable of surprising her, sometimes.
