Renathan had just gotten finished with running into one shop when he had to go home and get the stuff for the next shop. He'd completely forgotten about needing to sell the little pocketpets that he had found in the gardens, and of course the ones that he had given to him from others' forays into the mansion. He pulls the wagon again, has Auburn sit on the window sill yet again, and then opens the door, bringing the little wagon inside laden with all of the pocketpets. "Good day, I've got more pocket pets that have been found from all over!" He was excited, he always did enjoy pocket pet selling day. He tried to only do it once a month or so, since it was often a time consuming venture, to much so to come in every time a little creature was collected. "I'd like to sell them, if possible." Of course, he felt a little dumb saying that, but hey, he wanted to be clear right? Hopefully it wasn't too weird.
Renathan grinned beneath the mask. The kid that worked here was certainly quite excited about her work! He points to the creatures as he tells what he thinks that they are, after getting the wagon in a good place for viewing. "I've got five odd potatoes from my garden, a plant hopper, three hermit crab things from the mansion, three sharks, two rays, a horshoe crab, a bird, and a goblin from the mansion as well." He then looks over them again to make sure that it was all of them before nodding. "I think that is all today, but you know I'll probably have more in a month or two!" He did enjoy going out adventuring and then trading around to get more, because one could usually find good deals on them, and then selling them to the shop was a great way to make credits and all. He hoped that this would be an okay amount today, he'd been spending a lot of credits lately!
Her eyes suddenly took on a merchant's look as she appraised them, pursing her lips a little to count in her head. Finally, she came to a decision, and a total. "I'll give you 560 credits for the lot, is that a deal?" Sara asked, tilting her head.
Renathan watched for a moment as the young shopkeep seemed to be deciding on the prices, and then nodded after she stated the price she was willing to give. "Yes, that sounds like a great price! Thank you!" He was certainly excited about the price because he definitely needed more for a few projects he was working on, or at least going to be working on. He had to stop by the heavy hammer after this as well. So much to do; and so little time! Renathan did have time to help with this, of course though! "Let me help you out some!" He said, excitedly. Her excitement was contagious, it would seem. At that, he came over and started picking up gently all of the little pocket pet containers he used, and of course he would follow her lead and do exactly what she needed him to do. He didn't mind helping!
"Thank you!" she told him as he helped after she gave him the credits in a little pouch. Quickly she worked to get them all in their new homes, and then she waved at the man before he would leave.
Twilight-Claw: Thanks for that piece of info Ren! <3 | But would it be allowed for the flavor of the rp if the berry wasn't filling enough for the Lotine?

Renathan: There is no need to double up on a fish and a magical berry (doesn't change the effect of the berry at all) in a lotine breeding.

Twilight-Claw: Does anyone know if it is possible to combine both a magical berry and a fish in a Lotine breeding? Or is you can only choose one of them? (right now writing a Lotine breeding)

Riku: I got three pet levels and 15c out of it. <3 And all the necessary posts for my job salary form.

Riku: In mine my crossbreed used foxfire to burn it - but then it used incendiary illusion, which was extra scary because my cross is a plant pet with thick fur. It used the distraction to escape. I’m proud of it, and it’s okay that I won’t finish this month.

Renathan: *But of course, the RNG was not having that. / In Morgan's story, the Nyssa was a real thing, so I wanted to have two different situations for the variety.
May 31, 2020 18:15:27 GMT -6
Renathan: Yeah, the 'finished the story but the RNGods are being a butt' thing is a rather unfortunate situation to be in. I had already decided that in Ren's story, the elderly woman had lied about the nyssa and just wanted someone to talk to*

Riku: That makes sense. I've considered that before. -nod- I hope your non-hxr life is going smoothly.

Haix: Just quitting the job. Don't believe I'll be making the ten posts required per month any time soon. XD
May 31, 2020 16:34:01 GMT -6
Riku: Note to haix, I believe you can post the new application form at the same time as the quitting form. Unless you are simply taking an overall break from the job system.

Fiera Ferella: even AT the gardens yet. XD It sucks when you've finished writing your story and haven't gotten a success, because then its like "well... now what?" XD
May 31, 2020 15:51:47 GMT -6
Fiera Ferella: ive found that when there's a quest that might take longer like this, its a good idea to try and space out the story beats to try and roll a success before i get to the meat of the story. XD Like, by the time i was 5 posts in my character wasn't
