Renathan was... Not looking forward to this trip. He knew that he needed to keep back some of his hoard, and he did. Some of his very favorite pieces, just in case he ever got the chance to work in the shop again. Someday, he planned to go back to the mines and start amassing yet another hoard; but for today, he was going to nearly clear his hoard out. He needed the credits to pick up the materials for a project of his. Renathan carried the hoard in a satchel strung over his back, and then walked with Auburn on his shoulder to the front door, where he had her sit on the windowsill as he typically did, and stay. Then he opened the door, fingers crossed and holding his breath, before sitting the hoard down on the counter. Breathing out, he gave a nod. He could do this. "Greetings-" He hadn't noticed himself being nervous over this, really. "I would like to sell these minerals." He managed to get out. He'd get another hoard easily enough in the future, he was sure.

Kor was standing behind the counter polishing some stones when the man came in. He glanced up through bushy brows and nodded, "Righ', lemme take a look." Taking the stones, he quickly and carefully appraised each one, scribbling down numbers as he went. After it was all done, he turned back around and slid a figure over to the man. "2499 credits is wha' I'll give ye, soun' alrigh'?" he asked.
Renathan had been super nervous about the entire transaction, and of course was trying not to be. He did keep glancing out at his izer that was on the windowsill outside, she was being have it would seem. Renathan was at least glad that she was. He tried not to wrack himself too much with worry as the shopkeep looked over all of the objects- he really did feel bad for bringing so many in, but he was trying to get enough for a project after all, and he figured he should try to liquidate as much as possible in the pursuit of such. After a nerve wracking time period, the shopkeeper was done, and letting him know what he was going to get. 2499 was a lot, he figured. He'd been hoping for just a tad more, but that would work too. Heck, it was actually a really good amount! "Yes sir, that sounds like a good sum to me!" He was just ready to get the transaction over with, but he was being polite.
Nodding, Kor extracted the necessary amount of credits from behind the counter and made sure the man had a chance to count them himself if he wished before putting them into a bag and pushing it toward him. "Anythin' else ya need?" he asked, picking up one of the newly purchased rocks to polish.
Renathan took the credits gently, and of course smiled beneath the mask. He did need the credits, even if it had taken forever to collect all of these stones. He still had a very good amount left at home, after all, he had kept all of his favorites, so it wasn't too bad at least. Renathan still felt a little sad, but he tried to keep his chin up. "No sir, thank you very much for the deal!" Renathan said, as he counted out the credits. It wasn't that he didn't trust the shopkeep, it was just a good way of keeping up with things. Everyone made mistakes after all. "Alrighty, looks like everything is here!" He said, pleased as punch. "Thank you again, sir!" At that he took his leave, ready to reunite with Auburn outside the door. This whole situation was required, he reminded himself.
Morgan: No one knows yet. But I did want to make it clear that the jar itself isn't used for lotine husbandry in any way. c:

Twilight-Claw: I'm only assuming that it does something similar like a Fungal Beast that infects a Leaf-scatter. (the one with moss and I think it was a pink flower growing on the head.)

Silver: I'll try it soon and we'll find out!

Silver: I don't think anyone knows yet!

Darky: What did the 'infection' do again?
Jun 5, 2020 4:14:43 GMT -6
Twilight-Claw: Thanks for this information, its really useful to know! <3
Jun 5, 2020 4:14:30 GMT -6
Morgan: The lolatic doesn't disappear after one use, and can be reused on the same lotine when it is allowed to 'infect' a lotine- to my knowledge.
Jun 5, 2020 1:41:37 GMT -6
Morgan: The only effect/thing that the jar can be used for is to open up into a lolatic. The jar itself has no use in lotine breedings.
Jun 5, 2020 1:39:52 GMT -6
Twilight-Claw: and the jar is then gone, if with the creature I am more guessing with this the creature doesn't disappear and it has unlimited use.
Jun 5, 2020 0:17:55 GMT -6
Twilight-Claw: Something else I am wondering about with the Lotine breeding is whether one would use the jar the Lolatic comes from in the breeding, or actually the creature itself. I'm assuming with it if its the jar, then it gives people only one shot in a breeding,

Twilight-Claw: Then using it in my rps is definitely just for the sake of rp's and not for anything additional.
Jun 5, 2020 0:12:17 GMT -6
Renathan: Fish are unlimited use once bought though. c:
Jun 4, 2020 22:31:17 GMT -6
Renathan: There's no additional effect for adding a fish to a magical berry in a lotine breeding. Magical Berry is kinda it's own thing. Adding a fish for roleplay value shouldn't hurt, but it has no effect when used on a magical berry lotine breeding.
Jun 4, 2020 22:27:14 GMT -6
Twilight-Claw: be just for the sake of rp, and perhaps seeing if it might lent a bigger chance to multiple offspring with unique pattern. X3
Jun 4, 2020 15:31:01 GMT -6
Twilight-Claw: I think your right on it being unlimited use yeah, although.. *cough* I only found out a couple hours after I started writing that I had yet to buy the fish in question so used the one you could get for free as a replacement, it still was meant to mostly
Jun 4, 2020 15:30:59 GMT -6
Riku: From what I loosely understand about the fish is that it isn't one-use, whereas the berry is. I feel like there wouldn't be any consequence of 'using' the fish...which I'd think just ooc wouldn't be counted for whatever rolls or whatever it is that it uses
Jun 3, 2020 14:14:30 GMT -6
Twilight-Claw: Thanks for that piece of info Ren! <3 | But would it be allowed for the flavor of the rp if the berry wasn't filling enough for the Lotine?
Jun 1, 2020 6:09:21 GMT -6
Renathan: There is no need to double up on a fish and a magical berry (doesn't change the effect of the berry at all) in a lotine breeding.
Jun 1, 2020 6:02:21 GMT -6
Twilight-Claw: Does anyone know if it is possible to combine both a magical berry and a fish in a Lotine breeding? Or is you can only choose one of them? (right now writing a Lotine breeding)

Twilight-Claw: I am still interested in trading it for a green drake.
