Morgan collected the rock from a super proud Pao, and then gave the signal again just as Ondori came up with another really shiny piece. Morgan smiled, took it, and then praised her before giving the signal again. Ondori went down again, and was so quick with finding another shiny that she outpaced Pao to the surface. Morgan took the item, praised her, and then put it away with the others. The signal was given again, and Pao came up with another object, this one a piece of driftwood. Well, that worked too! Morgan took the item and then placed it carefully with the other things. Morgan praised Pao, and at the same time Ondori came back up with something else shiny. Well, she was certainly doing better than Pao, but they both knew the commands and were doing incredibly well! Morgan was very sure that they were indeed already quite well practiced at this, but they continued to practice again for another thirty minutes. Pao was always outpaced by Ondori, but they both knew the command very well, even if their ideas of beauty were completely different and Morgan did not at all judge either one of them on their sense of aesthetics.

Morgan was incredibly convinced that the two knew how to search at this point, so now it was time to do one more thing. After this, they could completely focus on Seimei and Ryuusei for a bit. The bespectacled human was hoping to be able to work on Shigeru for a bit too, but it was limiting as to what Morgan can work with him on in his fish form. That was why Morgan would have to wait for Pao and Ondori to grow to Mature stages to continue their lessons after this. Morgan was glad that they were getting this far along at least. "Alrighty you two, let's set that aside for now. There's one more thing w-we gotta learn." Morgan said in triplicate. It took a minute to wrangle the two from swimming around excitedly, and then Morgan stood up. They were still super cold, but this had to be done.
"Today we're g-gonna work on one t-thing last. You two need to l-learn the signal for swimming." Morgan said, nodding to them. A beat passed as the two stopped swimming around, and it was obvious that they were quite confused at Morgan's conveyance to them. Swimming?

Morgan had been trying to work with the tat-lungs on their swimming skills whenever they matured, but Morgan figured that most tat-lungs had easy gotten used to swimming in their four-legged forms instead of in a fish form, so it was really just the 'signal' that they needed to work on. The two tat-lungs were pretty confused since they were already swimming and it came natural to them, Morgan could tell that even though they weren't technically 'communicative' yet from their end. "Don't worry you two, this just means that y-y'all don't have to learn how to d-do anything special." Hopefully that would make it quicker; since they were swimming creatures naturally anyway. "So we'll s-start." Morgan said in triplicate. They were having a hard time trying to focus, since they were so cold. It did suck, but Morgan was going to power through it regardless.
Ondori seemed more than a bit bummed that they were moving away from something that she was good at and to something that would be boring. Pao, on the other hand, seemed to be doing pretty okay. "This is the l-last thing we are doing today." Morgan said to them, hoping that it would help.

Morgan was quite glad that this was the last thing today, and that it was going to be relatively easy. They were really cold at this point and it was making them stutter more due to the shivering. Morgan took a moment to try to warm up, and then stood up to try to move around and produce some heat for theirself. "So this is going to be the s-signal for y'all to swim." Morgan said, in common, LSL, and of course conveying through the ring. Hopefully this would help with communication in the future with them. "A-alright you two, as I'm sure y-you know, you'll grow one day out of your f-fish form and you'll be able to walk on land. At that point, we'll n-need a signal for you to go swimming if we have a need that a-arises." Morgan felt that slogging through that explanation was torture, it was cold, and they could barely get most of the words out. Thankfully, the ring did it's job well and the youngsters were able to get what Morgan had said to them.
"We'll go over it again. This is the signal for going swimming! W-when you hear it, you need to head for the water and swim." Morgan said.

The two tat-lung babies still seemed super confused about the entire thing, so Morgan thought for a moment. Ah; that makes sense. The pair were probably confused about what exactly they were supposed to do since they basically swam all the time. That realization made Morgan feel a little stupid, but now that they knew what the issue was, it was easily fixable with some conversation. The fact that it was taking a while made Morgan feel absolutely too cold, but they would be able to get home soon... Doing the whole 'Tolerance' thing definitely was dumb. Morgan should have done that last, but they really were not thinking at the time. Morgan tended to make a lot of mistakes like that.
"OH! Don't w-worry you two, we'll go to the shore, and you'll start at the shore before s-sw-swimming." Morgan said, grinning. At this, they made their way over to the shore, Morgan stood on the shore, and then gave the two tat-lungs the signal for swim. At this, they knew exactly what to do of course, and they swam out farther. Then Morgan gave them the signal to come to them, and gave them the signal to swim again.

Now it was all just 'practice' from here. Really practice wasn't required for most things that were taught at this stage of a tat-lung's life. They were completely limited to the water and were definitely not capable of doing a lot of things that would require a super smart being to practice something. Swimming was especially easy for these ladies, so Morgan just kinda slogged through it miserably as they felt freezing. It was like they couldn't even manage to gather up any heat despite being completely dry. That was what Morgan got for getting into the water first and then doing the rest of the training like an idiot.
Morgan would give the signal for swim, the two would swim around, Morgan would give them praise, wash rinse and repeat for long periods of time. Morgan completely lost track of time as they did this and tried to ignore the cold, and when the two started getting really bored, Morgan began switching in some of their other things that they had learned to keep it fresh. They continued to use the signal for swim intermittently the entire time so that they would get used to it. Finally, Morgan felt like they had learned it and they all went home.
