We can now gather the funds together as it is confirmed to be a 7$ with no one else joining us~
Should a crossbreeding spot be open at the Confluxery and I am not able to get it (due to not being online at the times it happens that one is free) could one of you try to snag it? I will send the form and funds to you then should that happen. :D
* Paid the 7$ myself, Aura hast logged in since 18 Januari, will need to be paid back for it. ( Its this type of situation I had hoped to avoid. >.>; )

They are here guys! And oh so pretty! <3
Cunning: 3 Animal Average Top Speed: Same speed as object. Special Requirements: None Size Chart: 1 Power Levels: 2 Notes: None Stamina: 1 Strength: 1 Resistance: 1 Dexterity: 2 Mentality: 1 Special Abilities: Float, Magical Moves: Spook
Biology: "Be careful what you wish for, for wishes and curses go hand-in-hand." A magical, wish-granting being of great power is a legend as old as time itself, and though it comes through in many different versions, they all come with the very same warning - be careful.
At first one could hardly even call these crossbreeds as 'creatures', for their default state appears as nothing more than a metallic bird-shaped whistle. In this state they are, in fact, dormant, a kind of resting phase where they neither hear nor see nor feel anything beyond the item confines. Once the whistle has been sounded, however, the lovely, sweet bird-like tune summons forth their true form. Part-stone, part-flesh, all real. They are intrinsically tied to the whistles, to the point that they cannot really wander all too far away from it, the ghostly tail always attached, but at least it is not a difficult thing to carry such a small and light object. Certainly not a creature built to survive in the wild by itself, but rather specifically engineered to be a companion to humanoids.
While they have neither the empathic nor telepathic ability of other creatures, they none the less can share a certain mild connection to whoever is holding the whistle. Its a 'sense' of the person on the surface, and thus can easily be fooled by the deceitful, but also something that does not necessarily require words to get across. If they sense an owner might presently be hungry, food might magically appear before them out of thin air. If they sense the person to be cold, a warm breeze might drift in as if from a sandy desert. It is a simple kind of "needs-to-wants" based intelligence and more direct requests might be harder for the owners to get across. However, as the saying goes.. Sometimes one can't always get what one wants, but one might get what one needs.
Twilight-Claw: They turned out amazing Darky! Thank you!
Do they only got front paws that are floating close to the body? (If I am seeing it correctly. X3) Aside from the wings that is. :D
Darky: Yep! Only a single set of floaty front arms~
Twilight-Claw: So great! <3 That certainly makes it one unique Djinn. :D
Or like that one character from Raymen that has it with the feet as well! XD
Ashe contacted Aura yesterday, so hopefully a answer will come on whether Aura is still interested in it or not, and then proceed with picking who we want. But I figure we could come up with a name for the species in the mean time? =D
These seem promising. The design is neat, for sure. I really like 223. Then maybe 228.
Trying to decide who it will go to of my three characters. One washes ashore with no memory, so this little companion would be a great first creature, the little bird being found in her pocket. Though, since it's a whistle, my musician character would definitely benefit from it, using the instrument as a sort of solo-harmonica. I imagine pressing the different socketted gems would change the note.
Then there's the fact it's a mining familiar, and my current character will be the miner of the three. Then again, he already has a mining cross companion. -shrug- Plus he already has an amulet spirit.
If Aura doesn't respond or doesn't want in anymore, I can pay for their slot to have two and not have to decide. lol
Maybe the name can be Gemie(Gee-mee)? Like gem-genie...?
Riku: From what I loosely understand about the fish is that it isn't one-use, whereas the berry is. I feel like there wouldn't be any consequence of 'using' the fish...which I'd think just ooc wouldn't be counted for whatever rolls or whatever it is that it uses

Twilight-Claw: Thanks for that piece of info Ren! <3 | But would it be allowed for the flavor of the rp if the berry wasn't filling enough for the Lotine?
Jun 1, 2020 6:09:21 GMT -6
Renathan: There is no need to double up on a fish and a magical berry (doesn't change the effect of the berry at all) in a lotine breeding.
Jun 1, 2020 6:02:21 GMT -6
Twilight-Claw: Does anyone know if it is possible to combine both a magical berry and a fish in a Lotine breeding? Or is you can only choose one of them? (right now writing a Lotine breeding)

Twilight-Claw: I am still interested in trading it for a green drake.

Ridelys: If you are still interested in a trade twilight, for your fidelity result, let me know.

Riku: I got three pet levels and 15c out of it. <3 And all the necessary posts for my job salary form.
May 31, 2020 18:49:26 GMT -6
Riku: In mine my crossbreed used foxfire to burn it - but then it used incendiary illusion, which was extra scary because my cross is a plant pet with thick fur. It used the distraction to escape. I’m proud of it, and it’s okay that I won’t finish this month.

Renathan: *But of course, the RNG was not having that. / In Morgan's story, the Nyssa was a real thing, so I wanted to have two different situations for the variety.
May 31, 2020 18:15:27 GMT -6
Renathan: Yeah, the 'finished the story but the RNGods are being a butt' thing is a rather unfortunate situation to be in. I had already decided that in Ren's story, the elderly woman had lied about the nyssa and just wanted someone to talk to*
May 31, 2020 18:14:49 GMT -6
Riku: That makes sense. I've considered that before. -nod- I hope your non-hxr life is going smoothly.
May 31, 2020 16:38:08 GMT -6
Haix: Just quitting the job. Don't believe I'll be making the ten posts required per month any time soon. XD
May 31, 2020 16:34:01 GMT -6
Riku: Note to haix, I believe you can post the new application form at the same time as the quitting form. Unless you are simply taking an overall break from the job system.

Fiera Ferella: even AT the gardens yet. XD It sucks when you've finished writing your story and haven't gotten a success, because then its like "well... now what?" XD
May 31, 2020 15:51:47 GMT -6
Fiera Ferella: ive found that when there's a quest that might take longer like this, its a good idea to try and space out the story beats to try and roll a success before i get to the meat of the story. XD Like, by the time i was 5 posts in my character wasn't
