- The last date to post your introduction post is 72 hours from this post. Without an introduction post you cannot battle.
- Certain moves can't be used in the Pit because of the surroundings and other moves can affect more than one creature at the same time. After all introduction posts have been posted you will be informed whether those two apply to any of your creatures' moves.
- That you have 72 hours to post a response to a calculation post and/or roleplay post. The 72 hour deadline is not extended if your foe posts after a calculation post. Not meeting the deadline results in an automatic disqualification.
- That characters level once every 20 posts in the Fighting Pit, but pets gain levels and loyalty towards their owners normally.

The defeat had been quick and final. With the added height and speed from attacking from the air, the other creature knocked Prelitya out cold with one attack. Ashe had cringed as the lerrel had fallen to the ground mid pounce and lay there, dazed but breathing. He had watched as the Pit crew rushed out to tend to her, then he'd gotten to explain what had happened to her through the ribbon after she woke up.
Now they were back again, and Ashe was with Inyala in the stands, looking down at the tiny speck of a lerrel in the Pit. Her light colored fur blended in nicely with the sand, actually. Not quite camoflague but close enough. He watched her wander around, looking for her next opponent. He had been worried she might become timid and scared from her loss, but she was approaching this with a renewed vigor.
Inyala was waiting for the fight to begin, too. She placed along the railing, bored and impatient. Ashe tried to soothe her by starting up a conversation, but she was too restless, agitated. The Pit seemed to have that effect on her. It sent a certain thrill through Ashe's blood, as well, but he had a larger body to contain that energy in than the small imp did.
If I had a heart, I could love you, If I had a voice, I would sing. After the night when I wake up, I'll see what tomorrow brings.

The last battle had gone as well as expected against a flying opponent, Jumanji hadn't been able to hit the small, fast creature. That wasn't really her strong point, and Nerius suspected whiptails didn't generally take flying creatures as prey.
Unfortunately, it looked like that's what their next opponent would be, judging by the wings. He'd seen the species before, but couldn't recall the name, it wasn't one he'd ever owned, or had an interest in. It looked like it would be annoyingly fast, but there was nothing to be done about that now.
Jumanji didn't particularly care if the creature seemed fast or not, and immediately took an interest in it when she was released into the Pit. Her previous loss didn't bother her one bit, and the whiptail focused on the lerrel with interest. The sand colored fur didn't seem to be interfering with Jumanji's ability to locate the creature, but then, whiptails didn't seem to have any eyes, did they?.
Prelitya didnt know what this creature was, either. She had never seen one of these before, but it looked like a moving plant with fangs! She watched it and felt like it was watching her back, but where were its eyes? Being a small animal like she was, her species could potentially be preyed upon as much or more than, say, Galabex - so she naturally wanted to stay out of direct eye contact. And how could she if she didnt know where the eyes were? She darted around, stretching her legs, getting a feel for its movements.
Ashe up above watched her, debating which attacks to use. Did this thing have the quick wit to dodge attacks? His own wasnt very fast, so unless this one had a boost... it would probably pack a punch if it could land an attack, and Prelitya couldn't handle a hit let alone a punch. So if he could avoid it that would be great.
Inyala sat quietly, observing the beast that had been unleashed. It looked like it could be nasty, with that tail and those fangs! She hoped the lerrel was fast enough.
Decision made, Ashe thought the command. Pounce, then wing buff! he wasnt taking any chances. He hoped it wouldnt be too much.. since the other opponent had gotten to Prelitya first, he hadn't had a chance to try it.
As the small creature darted around, Nerius realized yes, it was annoyingly fast. Well, less 'annoying', and more of a problem; Jumanji could lunge rather quickly, but she wasn't capable of those kinds of hairpin turns. He doubted she'd be able to hit it with a spit of acid either, being such a small, fast target.
Not that acid was Jumanji's first reaction to the lerrel, the size and movement triggered her 'lunge' instinct, and even before a command was given, she started to head in the smaller critter's direction. It wasn't like Nerius had a better strategy, she wasn't very well trained, and "Crunch," was the command he gave. That only encouraged the whiptail, and she eagerly headed toward the lerrel. He had no idea if she'd actually manage to hit before it did something, judging by the ribbon, the other handler was commanding it telepathically, so he had no idea what they were going to try.
-Prelitya uses Pounce and Wingbuff! A d10 is rolled; a 7 is rolled! Pounce+Wingbuff combo will do the most damage possible. Pounce deals flat damage equal to Prelitya's remaining stamina; this is 2. There will also be an added amount of damage equal to Prelitya's dexterity due to wingbuff; this is 8. 10 Damage - Jumanji's resistance of 3 = 7. Jumanji's stamina of 3 - 7 = -4.
Jumanji is pounced upon in a manner that perhaps didn't hurt as badly as the buffeting of wings that lands afterward. Jumanji falls, and immediately the pit healers come out to heal everyone up.
Ashe receives 3 pit prize points and Prelitya earns 2 levels for winning. Nerius receives 1 pit prize point and Jumanji earns 1 level for losing.
Morgan: No one knows yet. But I did want to make it clear that the jar itself isn't used for lotine husbandry in any way. c:

Twilight-Claw: I'm only assuming that it does something similar like a Fungal Beast that infects a Leaf-scatter. (the one with moss and I think it was a pink flower growing on the head.)
Jun 5, 2020 4:18:34 GMT -6
Silver: I'll try it soon and we'll find out!
Jun 5, 2020 4:16:11 GMT -6
Silver: I don't think anyone knows yet!
Jun 5, 2020 4:16:05 GMT -6
Darky: What did the 'infection' do again?
Jun 5, 2020 4:14:43 GMT -6
Twilight-Claw: Thanks for this information, its really useful to know! <3
Jun 5, 2020 4:14:30 GMT -6
Morgan: The lolatic doesn't disappear after one use, and can be reused on the same lotine when it is allowed to 'infect' a lotine- to my knowledge.
Jun 5, 2020 1:41:37 GMT -6
Morgan: The only effect/thing that the jar can be used for is to open up into a lolatic. The jar itself has no use in lotine breedings.
Jun 5, 2020 1:39:52 GMT -6
Twilight-Claw: and the jar is then gone, if with the creature I am more guessing with this the creature doesn't disappear and it has unlimited use.
Jun 5, 2020 0:17:55 GMT -6
Twilight-Claw: Something else I am wondering about with the Lotine breeding is whether one would use the jar the Lolatic comes from in the breeding, or actually the creature itself. I'm assuming with it if its the jar, then it gives people only one shot in a breeding,
Jun 5, 2020 0:16:08 GMT -6
Twilight-Claw: Then using it in my rps is definitely just for the sake of rp's and not for anything additional.
Jun 5, 2020 0:12:17 GMT -6
Renathan: Fish are unlimited use once bought though. c:
Jun 4, 2020 22:31:17 GMT -6
Renathan: There's no additional effect for adding a fish to a magical berry in a lotine breeding. Magical Berry is kinda it's own thing. Adding a fish for roleplay value shouldn't hurt, but it has no effect when used on a magical berry lotine breeding.
Jun 4, 2020 22:27:14 GMT -6
Twilight-Claw: be just for the sake of rp, and perhaps seeing if it might lent a bigger chance to multiple offspring with unique pattern. X3
Jun 4, 2020 15:31:01 GMT -6
Twilight-Claw: I think your right on it being unlimited use yeah, although.. *cough* I only found out a couple hours after I started writing that I had yet to buy the fish in question so used the one you could get for free as a replacement, it still was meant to mostly
Jun 4, 2020 15:30:59 GMT -6
Riku: From what I loosely understand about the fish is that it isn't one-use, whereas the berry is. I feel like there wouldn't be any consequence of 'using' the fish...which I'd think just ooc wouldn't be counted for whatever rolls or whatever it is that it uses
Jun 3, 2020 14:14:30 GMT -6
Twilight-Claw: Thanks for that piece of info Ren! <3 | But would it be allowed for the flavor of the rp if the berry wasn't filling enough for the Lotine?
Jun 1, 2020 6:09:21 GMT -6
Renathan: There is no need to double up on a fish and a magical berry (doesn't change the effect of the berry at all) in a lotine breeding.
Jun 1, 2020 6:02:21 GMT -6
Twilight-Claw: Does anyone know if it is possible to combine both a magical berry and a fish in a Lotine breeding? Or is you can only choose one of them? (right now writing a Lotine breeding)
Jun 1, 2020 5:36:49 GMT -6
Twilight-Claw: I am still interested in trading it for a green drake.
