Please note...- The last date to post your introduction post is 72 hours from this post. Without an introduction post you cannot battle. - Certain moves can't be used in the Pit because of the surroundings and other moves can affect more than one creature at the same time. After all introduction posts have been posted you will be informed whether those two apply to any of your creatures' moves. - That you have 72 hours to post a response to a calculation post and/or roleplay post. The 72 hour deadline is not extended if your foe posts after a calculation post. Not meeting the deadline results in an automatic disqualification. - That characters level once every 20 posts in the Fighting Pit, but pets gain levels and loyalty towards their owners normally.

Well, that last battle was certainly a mood booster! Ashe and the Lerrel were pumped after their win and were ready to take on their next opponent. Ashe didn't look ahead or watch the other matches, because he felt like being surprised. Add a little challenge. The one time he had been caught unaware, he wouldn't have been able to watch his opponent, that strange Felusine, anyway because it was the first match of the tournament. So, of course, now he didn't know who they were going to be facing, but Ashe was confident in his skills to call out orders, and also in Prelitya's skills at attacking and dodging on the fly.
He let the lerrel into the arena then he proceeded to the stands himself. Inyala was balanced on his shoulder, watching with interest as they passed other people in different stages of excitement over the tournament rounds so far. She dug her little claws into Ashe's shirt and held on as he went up steps and around corners.
Down below, Prelitya was walking around in the sand, cautious and prepared. It didn't look like their opponent was there yet, so she had a moment to herself. She explored a bit, sniffed a bit. While the stains and the bodies might be gone, the smell and the emotion lingered.

[Using Sever Bond]
Jack was pleased again, Tobi had won, though through a technicality. She would rather he win with his own skills and such, but such was life she figured with a little shrug, toppling the Jibiji off of her shoulder for a moment and into her hands. The woman gave a little chuckle as he trilled at her, and then she nuzzled up to him a bit to try and figure out what was going on at the moment. Ashe was there with his Lerrel... They were quick, she knew that much, and she knew that she needed to figure out the best chance for Tobi to win. If they lost, oh well, but she still hoped they would win. She set the bird in the Pit grounds before heading up and standing next to Ashe and Inyala with a smile on her face, wondering if she should have brought Tok. Oh well, too late now! "Hey there Ashe!

Ashe greeted Jack with a warm grin, pleased to see his friend. Though if Jack was here with a pet, that usually meant Ashe was going to lose. Somehow, Jack had a way of always beating him, always being one step ahead. And Ashe didnt know how - Jack had a foot in everything which should spread the talent and skill pretty thin! Ashe himself had to focus on specific skill groups if he wanted to excel. But Jack did good at everything. "Hey, how's it going?" he returned. Inyala chirped a little greeting from his shoulder, too, and waved; while it was unnatural for her, it was something she'd picked up while living with Ashe so long and forging a bond so deep.
"Good luck! You'll need it!" he joked, nodding to the arena. Through the link, he gave his command to Prelitya, a quick Bash!, and the lerrel sprang into action. Ashe would have been surprised if Jack wasnt doing something similar. He would also be surprised if Jack hadn't taught his cute little critter how to dodge attacks. That seemed to be the universal basic move, which Ashe found helpful but also troublesome. Hard to judge what moves to waste energy on, if you didnt know for sure. And then that one felusine...
Prelitya started running for the opponent like a bat out of hell, ready to turn and ram her shoulder into the little bird and send it flying!

Jack laughed and waved to Inyala, "You too!". She turned her attention to the arena and smiled a little bit, wondering what to do at the moment, there were a few things they could do, but... "Sing, Tobi!" she called to the Jibiji, hoping things would work out in their favor. Sure, she could tell him to dodge, but the Lerrel was quick on her feet it seemed and she knew he wouldn't be able to at this point. Their tried and true method of singing the opponent to sleep before striking seemed to work rather well, though she figured Tobi was going to have to get into the air no matter what before striking. There wasn't much else for her to do at the moment, so she simply smiled at Ashe again and leaned on the railing in front of them both, wondering what was going to happen. Of course Tobi might miss when he attacked, that was always something to worry about, but she had a good feeling she supposed.

Ashe was not expecting that call at all. Normally people had prepped with a loud noise move, usually in a unique fashion that would startle a pet no matter how much preparation was put into their training with that method in mind. But none of them had tried to sing... what did that do? Ashe had a sneaking suspicion that it would be bad for them, either a distracting or a sleeping thing, like a lullaby. He guessed he'd soon find out... shit. Ashe ran a hand through his hair, pushing it back as he studied the field, mins moving quickly. What could Prelitya do to counter that? Too late to run now, he heard the sweet sound of a bird singing, peaceful and calm. He might be imagining things but he felt sort of drowsy himself too. He shook his head. Fight it! Try to stay awake, try bash again! but he could feel even now, the lerrel was starting to wobble, her mind fogging over.
Inyala turned to Jack and gave a scolding cackle, shaking her finger at the woman. Rude! Pulling tricks like that on her master! Ashe waved her off with a word, no hard feelings. He doubted Prelitya could wake up in time before another surprise was whipped out.
Out on the sand, the lerrel slumped, eyelids dropping.
