Silver never did understand human holidays. They were completely clueless to the fact one was even going on when they went into the City. Though they did think it was nice that everything was sparkly and pink and covered in hearts. They definitely didn't understand it, but they were happy to wander around and take a look at the displays of candy, flowers, and other cute things. It was entirely a coincidence that they were carrying around a sweet little Chiryma chick that was a soft pink with a little white heart on her head. Silver laughed and pointed out when a decoration reminded them of her. She peeped with surprise every time, even though she knew even less what was going on around here. They had initially come out here to buy her some food, since she didn't like the kind they had as much. Now they were just wandering around looking at stuff, which was nice too. Silver even bought her a tiny bow for her tail, which the shopkeeper surely assumed was a gift for their sweetheart. [87.95 - 0.2]

Before long they had wandered right out of the city and into the outskirts to an area they had never been before. Maybe they had been there at some point, but they certainly didn't remember it, and it didn't feel like somewhere that was familiar. This was far from the first time such a thing happened, so they just shrugged and went along with it. They continued to baby little Love and show her all of the things they were walking past.
That was when they heard it. Someone was calling out to them. Silver looked behind them, then back at the mammalian. Did she mean them? Surely she didn't. That must be a mistake. Silver walked over so that they could clear up what was obviously a big misunderstanding. Love took a liking to the new people and looked at them with her huge blue eyes. She peeped loudly over and over again, like she was singing a song that was... very bad.

Silver eventually cleared up that the girls were talking to them via one of those awkward 'who, me?' sort of gestures clueless people sometimes did. They weren't sure what they wanted, but they were pretty sure they couldn't ignore it any longer. They went over and introduced themselves, but they didn't think that she cared about that. She told them about some weirdo that was going around leaving candy everywhere? Silver thought that was strange, but they didn't understand why they were so angry about it.
Whether they understood it or not, they were roped into this little adventure. That was fine. The shop was out of the kind of bird seed they wanted to buy for Love anyway. It was also an excuse to wander around some more and look at all the pretty glittery stuff!
"What do you think?" Silver asked their Chiryma. "Do you think we can catch the candy thief? ... The candy ... leaver? Ah well maybe we'll find some candy anyway."

The girls who sent them on the quest were probably not very happy with their flippant attitude toward the conundrum, but it was all that they had. Silver had never been in the Questing Inquisitor or the other place (they should definitely ask for its name again) before, so they took their time looking around. They were immediately distracted by all of the cute things they had for sale there. Wow, they better get them some of those quest points to trade in!
Love was getting restless in their arms as they painstakingly looked around at everything. This was so boring! She loudly peeped and tried to wiggle out of their grip. "Hold on now," Silver said. "I can't let you running loose all over this place with weird stuff happening, plus it's not really very safe for chickies."
Love knew that 'chickie' meant her, so she peeped in response and promptly forgot what she was doing. Oh that's right! She was bored. She peeped again and looked at Silver as if they would come up with something to entertain her.

"Okay look, you can sit on the floor for 3 minutes, but only 3 minutes. I have to look around for clues, okay?" Silver gently set Love down on the floor to let her explore. They were pretty sure that she couldn't destroy anything or get into any serious trouble in just 3 minutes. That might be a minor underestimation of the powers of a bored baby, though. They kept an eye on her just in case.
Silver had been looking for clues for what seemed like a really long time, but was probably only a few minutes. It was getting rather tedious as they weren't really the type to want to deal with this sort of stuff. They wanted to help the ladies out and everything, but they couldn't help but to think they were wasting their time. Even if they found the mysterious candy stalker, what would they even do? Fight him? That wouldn't go over well. They really picked the wrong person for this one.

Silver heard a sound that must have come from Love, but it was distorted somehow. It was like a squeaky peep, but muffled a bit. They suddenly came to the realization that she might be in trouble and frantically looked around for her. They found her with her head under some paperwork and a huge piece of candy in her beak. It was wrapped in plastic so she couldn't eat it, but she was certainly going to try. The strained sound she made was an attempt to keep hold of the candy and yell for joy at the same time.
"Don't! Do not eat that. Love. Listen to me. Do not eat! Bad!" They hadn't taught her anything like 'drop it' or 'no' so they had to chase her down and catch her in order to get the candy out of her mouth. She wasn't about to make it easy, either. They could tell from that mysterious look in her bright blue eyes.

It took them a while, but Silver did eventually manage to chase down the little Chiryma and pull the candy out of her beak. So much for not causing trouble for a whole 3 minutes! It was about as much as they could expect, anyway. They scooped up Love in one hand and held her against their side while they used the other hand to inspect the candy. This must be what they were talking about! Silver felt rather proud for a second until they realized that they had solved exactly nothing. They already knew that candy was being left everywhere! That's why they called them in in the first place.
Silver sighed and put the candy aside in a place they would hopefully not forget. It looked like a nice candy, anyway. Surely whoever had bought it had paid a nice sum for it. If it wasn't all chewed up by Love's beak they might even be tempted to eat it themselves. They wondered if that observation was important or not and tried to look for more clues, now more distracted than ever.

You have rolled a Success! Your QP will be added to the bank, and your prizes will be sent to you shortly. You may continue roleplaying if you wish (take the following info into consideration when continuing roleplaying ;3).
------------------
After all that hard work (including whatever you did afterward) you are given your first glimpse of whoever has been leaving those horrendous notes...
A young boy wearing a sweater and shorts was holding a little box of candies and a card when he was glimpsed sneaking suspiciously close to the building, and then when he was spotted he tried to run away! After running directly into Jolyne, he turns around, looking sheepish. A tongue lashing by Odoshi later, and the boy was trying to defend himself- "I am not trying to uh, trying to be weird or anything!" He finally shouts, the poor thing couldn't be any older than ten. "I just want to open a candy shop! We were thinking about Selling Vakrah stuff too, but I knew that we needed to uh, advertise!" He looked really sheepish. "I thought y'all would be okay with it, but I was too embarrassed to ask!" He hangs his head in shame.
Who knew that the Vakrah Incident was a misunderstanding all along? The tiny entrepreneur was let off lightly by the two prickly shop keepers all things considered, and told that he can ask any time he wished (it was better than frustrating everyone at least).
