Morgan was much more relaxed this time than they were a while back with Nico. Back then, Morgan had been nervous because Nico was their absolute baby, and it was their first attempt at breeding him. Now that his daughter was all grown, Morgan was much more understanding of the general process. It was also a plus that they were meeting with the owner of Natural's again, that was actually a calming thought. It hadn't been terrible, last time, after all. The bespectacled human walked in the cool morning air, watching the sun (that was just starting to turn the world from the bleakness of winter to the staring rays of spring) as it sublimated the dew off of the still-not-quite-green-enough grass. They stepped off of the sidewalk and into the lot, and then right up to the door of the breeding center, stepping in and wiping their feet off at the door step.
(Not so) Little (anymore) Selene followed on her leash, her eyes focused on the prize. She seemed to be a little less relaxed than Nico, but Morgan was sure that she would behave... Hopefully.

Snow snapped at her a little as they walked, the the woman growled at him. She was nervous this go around, because of Snow's aggression that she thought was under control, but it seemed to pop out a little every now and then. He was aloof now, however, and walked with his tail and head held high for a little bit as they walked toward the breeding center. They were meeting Morgan again, and that was good, she couldn't wait to see Selene and how she had grown up, Jack was fond of her mother, Luna, and hoped that Morgan had done well with her. She couldn't talk though, she hadn't done a thing with Red yet. She had a bad habit of doing that, not doing what she should with her animals, and she hoped that the Houluh weren't going to be another like that. As they reached the Breeding Center, she thought she saw the person inside of it. She opened the door and waved with a smile, "Hey there!"

It was a lot easier to speak when Morgan was more relaxed. That dang stutter that they never really completely kicked as a child was much worse when they were anxious, and hardly ever even occurred when Morgan was at ease. It was something that Morgan disliked about theirself, but it tended to not be too bad when they felt more in control of things. They heard the voice behind them, and gave an at-ease smirk. "Hey yourself." A wink, and then a continuance. "Lookin' sweet today- the hound not you." They joshed in a friendly tone, before looking at the houluh fully. "This must be s-Snow."
Morgan may not have completely glared Snow down as soon as he was visible, but Selene had. Immediately her tail went from a loose 'oh hey there is a person and my person is talking to them' kind of wag, to a stiff-legged stiff-tailed hold. Not quite hackles raised, yet anyway.

Jack laughed a little and nodded, "I was hoping that was the case at least!" She didn't know what Renathan would say if someone else had been hitting on her, and it made her laugh a little harder. Things were good though, and she knelt down to look Selene over, pleased to see the moon over her eye hadn't gone away, "I'm so pleased Selene's moon didn't fade away. It's such a sweet marking for Houluh I think." She smiled up at Morgan and then stood up again and gestured to the counter, "Shall we? Snow! Be nice!" Scowling a little, she looked down at the Houluh who was leaning forward and sniffing a little before glowering back at the Matronne. This... might not go well, but he simply looked away, aloof as always, and then licked his paw a little to try and clean it up a bit from the walk over.

Now that was interesting! Most of the time when Morgan hit on someone, it did the job of keeping them on their toes and preferably uncomfortable enough not to get close to them. This individual actually laughed, and it was sort of like a reflector back on them. Oh crap, it would kinda suck if someone took it seriously. It wasn't enough of a failure rate to keep them from doing it though, it was easier to do that than to make real conversation with random folks... Though it might be good to have a breeding alliance with another kennel. Fresh blood would be hard to come by if they aggravated everyone that bred houluh.
Morgan looked at Selene with an approving gaze at that. "Yes, it was rather fortunate. I wonder if it is an alelle... Probably some sort of a gene outcome, seeing as it seems to pass... at least some of the time." Morgan mused. That must mean that there were more of these... That was exciting.

Selene had been a bit of a happy accident really, she was nice looking though. Morgan hadn't really expected what had come out of Nico, but they were so glad to have a nice red-pointed baby from him that looked like a little him, wearing less white of course. That had always been a bit of an issue with Morgan, Nico was a little too white for their tastes. "She did t-take after Luna." Morgan decides, with a nod. "Certainly, you first!" Morgan said, dropping a foot back to let the other individual ahead of them. Selene stood stark-still, her eyes going from 'wide-eyed and watchful' to slits in just a second or two. They were pale blue, and entirely focused on the Patronne. She hadn't been around a Patronne that wasn't poppa, and that was full grown ever before. Half of her was intrigued, and half of her was wary.
But she wasn't fearful, more... Challenging.

They looked surprised, which surprised her in turn, but she did her best not to let it show. She nodded happily and turned to go to the counter, filling out her paperwork and then passing it over to her new friend. At least, she figured he was a friend, at least an acquaintance, but still, this was how all good friendships started here it seemed. Grinning to herself, she passed the paperwork over to Morgan and waited for them to fill it out, they probably had more to fill out due to Selene's heritage after all, and she wasn't in too much of a hurry at this point, not any at all really.
With his tail held high, Snow pranced by the Matronne, showing off a little as well, glancing at her out of the corner of his eye. He was interested, certainly, she looked a lot like the Matronne back home, and he thought they smelled similar, but it was hard to determine sometimes, unfortunately.

It always amazed Morgan how normal most people were. It baffled them to no end that there were folks out there that other-thought everything much less than Morgan tended to, or not at all! It wasn't really something that Morgan did often, being out and about, but they were sure that other people didn't have some of these... Eccentricities. Did it come with the territory of going through the kinds of things they did, or was it something to do with the dang node? Morgan wasn't sure. Still, it was nice to know that they were around another mage, even if not an elemental. It might keep them from doing something ridiculous.
As soon as it was turned over, Morgan filled out the paperwork on their end necessary. They took their eyes off of Selene for just a second as they did so. Selene had her eyes entirely on the Patronne, watching his tail, and then pulled her ears back just a little. She immediately decided that she was going to do 'better' than this Patronne; her competitive nature clicking into place immediately. She raised her tail as well, though Morgan didn't have to move far so she didn't get to really show off, being on the leash and all.

"Anything new going on with you since we last met?" Jack asked, watching as they filled out the paperwork and then motioning toward the chairs when they were done. She snapped her fingers at the Patronne and Snow followed her on the leash, eyes still on the Matronne for a little bit as he noticed her snapping to attention a little. Ah, so a challenge, was it? He let a soft growl escape his throat and he sat next to the woman with his eyes forward, pretending to be a good canine even though he was a hellraiser at the Kennel. She didn't have to know that, of course. Jack chuckled a little and patted him on the head, ruining some of the image and he snapped at her a little before he pouted and laid down, pointedly looking away from Selene so hopefully she wouldn't see him being upset or anything.

If Morgan had been a mammalian, they would have perked up an ear whenever they heard the voice. Instead, they tilted one side of their head up, to look at the other human out of the corner of one eye as they finished the paperwork. "Ah-" They started, and felt a stuttering fit come on, so they stopped and slowed down verbally before they even started as they followed the individual over to the waiting room chairs. "Not a lot I'm afraid. I am doing research, you see, I have a problem." They reached out to pat Selene on the rump, scratching along her spine. "I keep waking up w-with random tat-lung eggs." Talk about a non-problem for most people! It scared Morgan a bit though.
Ah, that growl. Immediately Selene was interested, more interested than she had been earlier at least. Her 'brother' at home with a calm little thing, he didn't really like to wrestle with her when she was growing up. This fella sounded like he had some spunk to him. She tilted her head at the snaps, and then looked at Morgan, before raising her hackles. It was clear. 'This human is mine. You can snap at your human. Do not snap at my human, or I'll snap at you.' Her look was pointed. That was just the way Selene worked.

Jack listened to Morgan as they talked, and then nodded a little, "I see. I woke up with one awhile back that still hasn't hatched. I didn't know it was happening to others as well though." She smiled and almost reached out to pat them on the arm, but caught herself before she moved, there was just a little muscle movement belying her almost actions. "If you're waking up with more than one though, that could be an issue. Do you have enough space for them at least?" she asked, tilting her head a little at that.
Snow looked up and snarled a little, baring his teeth before flopping his head back onto his forepaws, glaring at the female. He liked her, she had some spunk to her, and that was always a good thing. Standing up, he stretched out and moved to sniff at her again, wondering what that smell was. It reminded him of Luna, but at the same time, it was all Selene. It was good, and he quickly shot a paw out at her leg to see if she would try to play.

Morgan wasn't normally this talkative, but they were convinced that they didn't need to make this difficult on the both of them by being too difficult. It was not something they were used to, however. "You too?" Morgan asked, half pleased and half genuinely surprised. They couldn't help be glad that maybe there will be someone else out there to possibly figure out more information with. "Yeah, more than one for me... I keep not remember'n my dreams, t-too." Morgan admitted. "I usually remember my dreams, so it's really weird." They said, head tilted. "I do keep tats, they 'ave their own house and everythin'. But I dunno if that has anythin' to do with it? I d-didn't even know my first was a tat-lung egg, until it hatched."
Selene was taken a bit aback by the snarl, but it didn't seem like it had too much malice behind it, she decided. She was one of those 'put your money where your mouth is' kind of hounds. She sat down nearby like a pretty little princess, and let him sniff before giving a bit of a sniff in turn. He didn't smell bad, though he was gonna need to impress her if she was going to give him any time at all.
As soon as the offer was extended to play, however, she was on that. She rose up on her hind legs, and then went to try to jump at him, to see what he would do.

Jack unhooked the leash from her Houluh when she saw them move to play with each other, he would come when called if she needed him to, at least for whenever they were called to the back. She then settled back a little as she folded it over itself so it would fit in her bag, and then nodded, "At least I think that's what it is, my other Tat-lung say it is. It's brown and dark green. That's terrible you don't remember your dreams though, it's too bad you won't know what to expect, at least a little." Frowning, she shook her head and glanced over at the attendant as though questioning when they would be called back.
Off the leash now, Snow bounded over and shook himself off before getting on his back legs as well and then attempting to come down behind her on her back to push her to the ground in play. Rough play, but play.

Morgan was quite shocked at the houluh's actions; Selene was always work over play when out in public, so they had been a bit late getting her collar unhooked. Morgan jerked forward to try to stop her (failed, miserably) and then managed to get it off a bit late. They looked a little sheepish. "S-sorry 'bout Selene, she is never like this." They apologized. "A lot like her father, real serious." They admitted. "I reckon my tat family knew, but uh, they don't always tell me everything. You know h-how they are, smart an all." They nodded. "It has to be somethin' to do with the dreams I think, because I always just kinda wake up in a cool sweat, and BOOM dragon egg. Startling, y'know?"
Selene just about choked herself on the leash, and then was let off. She looked apologetically back at Morgan, and then didn't quite notice as she was pushed down. Oh, so that was how he wanted to play it, huh? She growled in that playful manner that dogs sometimes do, and tried to playfully push at him with her front legs from underneath.
