Well, she knew a little bit about a spot she wanted to find, but that was going to be hard to do around the river. Giving a shrug, she figured this was as good a spot as any at this point, and the fish seemed to agree. The Seryn rolled around for a little while and then blew her a kiss like she had trained him to do a long time ago, and she grinned a bit at him when he did so. All things would work out no matter what, and she wished that she was interested in everything no matter what. Jack pushed a hand through her hair and looked up at the sky. It was clear as far as she could see, and the woman smiled a little, wondering what was going to happen, weather wise, while they were there at the river this time. All she knew was, she needed to get some stuff done, and that was going to work out no matter what.

This was an interesting thing though, fishing alongside a Seryn, and she wondered if things would work out for them no matter what. As long as Terrence didn’t hook himself on the hook of the pole, then things would be alright, though she wouldn’t mind if some other fish hooked themselves on the pole as well. It didn’t matter, she figured, as she settled down into a spot by the river, if she caught anything, her main goal was to have Terrence grow a little again, and she hoped that things would work out no matter what. All she had to do was spend some time with him and off things would go again, she knew, and that was good enough for her at the moment. Smiling, she reached out and rubbed his head before casting the line for the first time on this trip into the water. Not bad at all.

Jack had a lot of time on her hands, even though she should be doing a lot of stuff lately. There were so many Sarane to raise up and break before training and all that, and there were a bunch of Seryn as well it seemed. Rubbing her face and sighing, she hoped that things would even out sometime, and this wasn’t even taking into account all the fun she wanted to have, the crystals she needed to find, her job to do… It took forever, she usually had no free time, and now she was just running away from what she was needed to do right now. At least Terrence didn’t fault her for anything, though it would be hard for him to considering she was spending some time with him and everything. All Jack knew was, she needed to get herself in gear again soon, and it just wasn’t happening fast enough.

Whatever she ended up catching, she hoped the Trader would take eventually. Giving a little sigh, she didn’t know what to expect from things, though it wasn’t like she could expect for him to have all the crystals she would ever need or anything like that in the future, plus it would take forever to save up for a node if she just waited on him to restock his random crystals. Whatever, she would be able to find them eventually, she knew, but she was going to have to work in the mines some more with her Sarane if she was going to find them. It was harder without Goran, maybe even impossible, but she didn’t know at the moment. Maybe she could handle both of them, but it was hard for her to judge that for now, all she needed to focus on was Terrence and how he was doing in the warm water right now, under the cloudless sky. Turning her face up, she figured she might tan a little while she was out there, but then again, she might not, it depended how long this took.

The world was an interesting place, she figured as she sat there, line in the water, Terrence swimming around her feet which she was dangling in the water as well. Only here, she figured, could you find things like this, and she had traveled a lot when she was younger. This was the first place that felt a little like home though, even though she was driven to wander a lot when she was younger. Maybe that’s what she needed to do for awhile again, wander, but it was hard for her to think about that right now, she had too much responsibility here, all the animals, and not to mention Renathan. Sighing a little, she looked up at the sky again, cloudless and a bright blue with the bright sun sitting behind her. Maybe this was good for her, but she really didn’t know at the moment, hopefully it would work out soon enough.

Whoever saw her now figured she might be stable, she thought, so it wasn’t like she could read someone else’s mind or anything. Jack pushed h er hair back a little and wondered what was going to happen all along. She had stuff to do, though she didn’t necessarily want to do it right now, but Terrence was the key point at the moment, though she needed to work with her Sarane no matter what, especially now that they were fertile again. As she rubbed her head, she thought about it, there wasn’t much she could do about it now, but she wished she had brought a whelp along with her this time, grow one of them and Terrence at the same time. Sarane were odd like that, the more time you spent with them, the bigger and faster they grew, or at least that’s how it was with most of them, all Drakes and some Hens.

Most of the tier one and two Hens, or at least hers, grew on their own, on their own terms, but the others needed her in order to grow. Maybe she just needed them to grow that way, because other people spent time with theirs before they grew as well, and others broke their Drakes and tier three Hens with them seriously wanting to kill them during the breaking. Jack wasn’t sure she wanted to deal with that though, she wanted as much help as she could get, Alexei was bad enough, she didn’t know what a tier three Drake would do to her. Sighing, she rubbed Terrence’s head again and wished there were a few fish that would pop onto her line eventually, but maybe she had to work on it a little more or something. Rubbing her face, she wished things would work out for her after all, but it was a little hard sometimes.

The fish was having fun at least, she had to give him that much. Jack stretched out a little and wondered what was going to happen when he grew. Sure, she'd had two of them grow already, but it had been awhile since they'd done so, so she didn't remember what all was going to happen when it did. Giving a small sigh, she hoped that everything would go well and it wouldn't hurt the Seryn, though she doubted it would honestly. Hopefully it would just go well and she wouldn't have to worry about it too much. Grabbing her fishing pole, she cast the line again after reeling it in and then waited for awhile again, wondering what was going to happen to them in the time between fish. All she could really do was deal with the Seryn, and she wished she was going to train him something, but she wasn't that lucky.

With everything that was happening in the world of the Labs, including Sarane being fertile again, she was surprised she had time for Seryn right now. It was hard for her to ignore them though, she knew, and Terrence deserved to grow, he was a good boy and was well trained, for a fish anyway. AS she watched him do barrel rolls in the water, not on command of course, she hoped the growth would put him up there with Char and Kelpie, but there was no way for her to be sure about that. Of course he was actually trained, whereas the other two really weren't, but what could you do? Chuckling, she reeled in her line again and stretched once more before she cast it again and watched for the fish to catch on her hook. Whatever it was, she hoped that everything would be well, and that she would actually like what she caught.

One great big fish and one itty bitty fish! What an unusual set of fish to find at the same time!

Slowly she felt something tug at her line, and she sat up a little straighter as Terrence stared at her hook as well. The woman's head rose up a little and she stared as she slowly reeled her line in, smiling when she saw the large fish at the end of the line on the hook. Well then, there was a bit of luck, she figured as she pulled it in while it shook and flopped around at the end of the line. Hmm, it was going to be difficult wasn't it? At least it wasn't a huge fish, but it was pretty big, and Terrence helped to guide it over to her as she reeled in the line and pulled it out of the water. Jack pulled it off of the hook and tossed it into the bucket she had with her, giving a small yawn as she did so. Terrence was getting big, but she didn't know if that meant he was going to grow yet or not.

With the large fish in the bucket, the woman turned her attention back to the Seryn again for a moment as she cast the line again into the water. It was easy to hit him, hard to miss, but somehow she did it, as though he knew where she was going to cast the line. A smile crossed her face and she reached out to pat him on the head as he swam close again. It was a nice day out, and she hoped it would stay that way, there still weren't any clouds in the sky. Part of her really hoped that things were going to go well and all that, and she wished that she could just get this over with. There were fish to grow, though, and fish to catch, and the woman smiled a little at that. Hoping what she was doing was good enough for the fish, she kept on fishing.

Jack had a lot to do, but this trumped the rest, at least for now. Stretching out across from the fish she was trying to help grow, she hoped she would find at least one more thing on this fishing trip, but wasn't sure what was going to happen. Jack rubbed her face and sighed a little, this was getting old though, she didn't know what to do at the moment. There wasn't much she could do at the river, other than fish and look for shells of course, but nothing was coming and the fish was getting a little bigger. She wished she was in the mines with a Sarane, however, and she smiled as she thought of it, one hand on the pole, one of the Seryn for now, wondering what she was going to do with him once he was grown. It would all work out no matter what, of course, but what good would that do?

Well, she had to deal with things the way they came, and she sighed a little as she wondered what to do at the moment. Pushing her hand through her hair, she wondered what was going to happen at the same time. Terrence was going to be fine as he grew, and she hoped that things were going to be alright no matter what. All she had to do was deal with him growing and all that, and then things would be fine. Now that she thought about it, Char was a little trained, but not much, just a few tricks and whatnot, but Kelpie didn't have any training whatsoever. It was going to be fine no matter what, and that was going to be fine. She growled a little under her breath, she was done with this, never again would she try to grow a Seryn in a short amount of time, that was just ridiculous.

Whatever, the line and hook were in the water, and Terrence was swimming around happily, getting bigger by the moment. Jack sighed a little and wished she could speed this up, but there was no speeding up loyalty between a person and their animals, no matter what happened with things. Whatever, it didn't matter much, and she smiled a little no matter what. As she sat there, feet dangling in the water, Terrence nibbling at her every now and then, she managed a yawn. There wasn't anything she could do about things right now except to enjoy life, but there wasn't anything she could do, she was itching to do something... more, but what, she didn't know. All she knew was that she wanted to go out and do something else, but she couldn't tell what that was at the moment. Chewing on her lip, she hoped that things would work out in the long run.
