With life being what it was, there wasn't much she could think of. She really wanted to train up a Sarane, but... what was she going to do for that at the moment? She couldn't imagine working with one right now, which was bad enough, she supposed, and she smiled a little as she thought of the recent clutches that had come through from the Sarane, and she smiled a little, staring at Terrence. It wouldn't matter too much to her if she could actually work with them all, but... what was she supposed to do now? Pushing her hair back, she hoped that things would be well, but it was going to be hard considering how many there were. Some didn't need her help to grow, but she knew that things were going to be well in the long run. All she had to do was think about it for a little while and then she could do it.

Right, Seryn, she had to focus on Terrence and not on Sarane. Frowning, she hoped that things weren't going to fall through for her, but of course they wouldn't after a little while. Jack smiled a bit as she thought of it, hoping for things to follow through in the end. Maybe she wouldn't have to worry about the fish if she trained him up a little more? Rubbing her head, she smiled at the Seryn, and hoped that things would be alright. At least he still seemed to enjoy her presence, but there wasn't much she could do about helping him out a little bit. Frowning, she hoped that things would work out, that she could train him a little more when things came around, but it would be hard for her to figure that out as well. Maybe this wouldn't be so hard if she had an idea of what to do with him after this?

Jack yawned again and glanced at the sky. The sun was starting to go down a little bit, but that wasn't a bad thing, she supposed. Pushing her hair back, she reeled in her line again and whistled at Terrence with a smile on her face. He was eager to follow her, and hoped that all things would be alright he supposed, but there was something different about her. Maybe she had to figure something out, but he felt different as well. It was alright in the long run, but he hoped that everything would be fine. Maybe this... change... he felt was different, maybe it was going to do something to him, but as they headed down the river toward the Docks, he hoped that he was going to be alright in the long run. Maybe this would change everything, maybe it wouldn't change anything, he had no idea of what to do at the moment, but he would trust her.

Moonbeam was as close as Jack could get to breeding Luna with Snow, which is what she desperately wanted to do, but couldn’t because they were in the same Kennel, which was a shame because she knew they would make amazing pups. Giving a sigh at the thought, she then smiled at the little pup who was trying her hardest to keep up with the woman. Jack chuckled a little and slowed her stride so the sweet little Houluh could keep up with her and reached down to scratch her ears a little. Moonbeam yipped at her and the woman laughed, patting her back as they reached the river. It was a nice, slow area of the river, just in case the pup wandered too close to the edge, and she knew that things would work out for them if that happened here. The river had it’s slow areas and it’s quick areas, and that was what she had to look out for.

The river was pretty slow right now, even though it was the rainy season. That was fine though, she knew it would dry up pretty soon and then it would be even better to bring her Houluh by to fish with her. Moonbeam wasn’t too prissy, but still didn’t like to get dirty it seemed, or she didn’t know what to do with the mud they trekked through, and the woman leaned down to pick her up and put her on one of her arms in order to carry her through. Luckily she had her mud boots, that would protect herself from most of it. Oh if Kanellos had stayed with her in the river… She swore lightly, that pup wouldn’t have handled it at all, he was far too princely than that, she knew. Giving a little chuckle, she kissed Moonbeam on the head and got a little yawn in response. Jack smiled and put her into the little wagon she led and watched as she curled up and fell asleep.

The little pup slept for a little while as Jack trudged through the mud to the spot she had in mind. It was going to be fine, she knew, the pup would be safe and everything was going to work out. Part of her was still worried though, she knew, and she hoped that everything would go the way she was hoping it would. Glancing back at the little black and white pup, she smiled fondly, thinking of her grandmother and her father. All would be fine, she came from a resilient line, she knew. Jack reached down and patted Moonbeam’s head for a moment, watching as she stirred in her sleep, and she hoped that they would really enjoy each other’s company after spending some time together. It only made sense, right? Most of her animals enjoyed being around her, she just didn’t know what to expect some of the time, which was a bit of an issue.

Everything was weird for her at the moment, and as she reached the spot she was going to fish with little Moonbeam, she twisted one of the rings on her finger nervously. Things were changing and she wasn’t sure she wanted that to happen and all that, and she frowned a little, glancing down at the pup and wondering what she was going to do with herself. Shaking her head, the woman sighed a little and pushed her hair back, hoping that all would be well and she wouldn’t have to worry about too much from now on, but she knew that wasn’t going to happen either. It was a long shot, but she hoped that this trip would help her figure a few things out, though what exactly, she wasn’t entirely sure. Maybe she could figure out what to train her or something, she still hadn’t figured that one out yet, which was a bit of a shame. She was a good companion though, maybe just a few tricks or something?

Jack watched the pup sleep for a little bit when she got to the area she was thinking about. The ground was nice and dry for the rainy season, and she figured Moonbeam couldn’t complain too much about it. Maybe she would though, she really didn’t know. Giving a shrug, Jack pulled her net and rod toward her and began to hook a sinker, bobber, and bait to her line before tossing it in and waiting. Moonbeam stirred in her sleep, and the woman smiled patiently at her for now. Hopefully they would find some good stuff today, though she wasn’t going to be too far into it at the moment. Getting Moonbeam used to her constant presence was enough for her she knew, though the fish and shells and things were certainly a perk of actually fishing. Whatever the case, she just hoped this wasn’t going to be a bust when it all came down to it, and hopefully she could keep with it, though that might be hard to do...

Little eyes stared up at her from the wagon when she looked back, and the woman smiled. Jack reached out and plucked Moonbeam from the wagon and put her on the ground next to her. The little pup stood on shaky limbs for a little while and then she got a little stronger and wobbled toward the river. Yelping when she touched the water, she scurried back to the woman's laughter. Pushing her hair back, she hoped that everything would be alright, that she wasn't making a mistake when it came to the pup and the river, but Moonbeam seemed a little wary of it at the moment. Her paws wet, she licked at them with a wet tongue and whimpered before plopping down on the woman's lap and whining a little. Jack rubbed her head with a smile, "It's alright hun, it can't hurt you over here, just stick with me and everything'll be alright, yeah?"

All would be well, she knew, and she chuckled a little as Moonbeam snuggled in a little deeper into her lap. She tried to keep a tight grip on her pole, but it was a little difficult at the moment, but that was okay, she didn't think she would get too much of a good catch, a big catch, for now. Sighing, she shook her head a little and hoped that things would work out for her. Maybe they would find some good stuff and she could trade for a crystal or something later on? Giving a little shrug, she realized it didn't really matter in the long run, and she smiled a little as she looked out over the river, Moonbeam still in her lap. What was it right now anyway? The woman smiled a little and wished she knew what was coming for a little while at least. Maybe they would get some good fish.

This might not have been the best idea, but there was no real way to be sure at this point. She just knew she needed to bond with her Houluh a little more, but for now she would just sit there patiently as Moonbeam crawled out of her lap and hoped for the best. If only she could train while the line was in the river, that would make things a little easier for her, but she knew that wouldn't be alright in the end of it all. Honestly she could probably only focus on one thing at a time, doing what she was doing, which wasn't all that bad when she thought about it. Giving a little sigh, she smiled at the little black and white pup, wondering if she would gain any red while she grew up. AT least she had the little moon on her cheek, that was pretty cute so far.

Jack had no clue as to what she might catch in the river at this point. That was fine by her, she knew, and the woman smiled a little as she thought about it. That was the part she enjoyed, really, the not knowing for sure about things, it made things interesting and she liked interesting things in her life. Leaning back against a rock, she kept one eye on her fishing pole and the other on Moonbeam as the little pup explored, and she hoped that everything would go well for her in the future. What kind of mates would Moonbeam have once she was grown, anyway? That was the hardest part to decide, so many of them were related to Luna and Nico's line, which was a shame, but a lot of people had generation one Houluh as well, there were plenty of fish in the sea, so to speak, she just had to find the right ones.

Without thinking too hard, she reeled in her line and then cast again, watching as Moonbeam touched the water gently with a forepaw before yelping and backpeddaling. Jack chuckled a little at the sight and calmed her down as best as she could for the moment, and stroked her fur on her back, waiting for things to do what they needed to in order to get things going again. What was she going to do if she couldn't find anything for the little pup to do anyway? What was she going to do about training her in the future, that was the hardest thing to think of right now, and she frowned again as she stared at her line, Moonbeam laying next to her for the moment. She didn't know what to train her, maybe some cute little tricks or something would do her well, at least she would be adorable while doing it?
