This would be different, not meeting Morgan for a Houluh breeding. She had asked Fiera to train up Red a little bit though, so it only seemed natural to breed Red to Fiera's Matronne, right? Grinning from ear to ear, she let Red lead the way to the Breeding Center, giving him directions to go every now and then, but not really having to deal with things right now. It would be good to let things go, she figured, but today was far too special, she knew that it would work out to their advantage to get them bred and the pups on their way. They always gave three pups it seemed, which was odd, but none more odd than the rest of the breedables in the Labs. Yawning a little, the woman and Houluh found their way to the Breeding Center, stepped inside, and then went over to the counter, it seemed like they were the first ones.

A large hat entered the breeding center, the jingly bell above the door alerting everyone within to its presence. It was bright yellow, with a whole Izer's worth of exotic feathers sticking out of it, rimmed with enough lace to make an expert textile weaver cry at how it was being wasted. And beneath that hat was Fiera Ferella, doing her best 'celebrity trying to be in disguise but actually loving how the paparazzi keep sneaking around behind them' impression. Large sunglasses, a stylish 'I just woke up like this, really' hairstyle, and clothes that were just rumpled enough that she could say "Oh this? I just threw this on." while also pulling off a price tag and pretending you couldn't see the three figure number on it. Next to her was her matronne houluh Pauline, who had been carefully brushed and washed, with a large, colorful ribbon tied around her neck.

Red was a laid back Houluh, and he lounged next to the woman as she started to fill out some paperwork in anticipation for Fiera coming. She'd only seen her briefly once, and what came into the Center wasn't what she had expected much. She raised an eyebrow and muttered to the pup, looking down at him, "It's her, isn't it?" Not loud enough for anyone to hear, but Red stuck his tongue out in a canine grin. He barked happily and wagged his tail before moving over to the other woman and the Houluh Matronne, sniffing them both and then woofing a little lower this time. Chuckling a little, Jack finished filling out her part of the paperwork and handed it over to the other woman, "Hey there Fiera! You remember Red right?" The woman grinned a bit and looked down at the lovely Matronne, "And this must be Pauline?"

Fiera strode over to Jack, recognizing her. They had only met briefly a couple times, but Fiera would recognize Red anywhere. As the houluh approached her, she chuckled and leaned down a bit to give him a familiar pat on the head. "Hello there, Red." She said softly, before straightening up again. "Ah, Jack! Good to see you. Of course I remember Red. He was a fantastic student." She said with a wink- not that you could really tell from behind the sunglasses. She happily accept the paperwork as Pauline shuffled back a bit behind her legs- it was clear that she wasn't as used to the presence of other houluh as Red. Fiera only owned the two right now, after all. "Yes, this is Pauline. I made sure to get her all gussied up and ready for this. I must apologize for my own appearance though," She said, dramatically whipping off her sunglasses. "I'm just so underdressed right now."

Another chuckle and Jack nodded, "Yeah, I bet you are." Shaking her head a little, she glanced down at her own jeans, shirt, and overshirt unbuttoned over it, boots covering her feet. Things would be fine at this point, she knew, but Fiera... she was something else, not like anyone else in the Labs, and that's what was good about her she figured. Pushing her shaggy hair back (she really needed a haircut), she knelt down and held a hand out to Pauline to show that she wasn't dangerous, at least to her. To other things, well, they wouldn't talk about that. "Hey there sweetheart, my aren't you lovely today?" Jack said and touched her ring of animal tongues, wondering if Pauline would acknowledge her. Most of the time her Houluh would pretend like they didn't, but hey, it might work with her at this point. At least it might throw her off...? Red panted happily and licked at Fiera's hand, wondering if there were any treats to be had.

Fiera wrinkled her nose. 'I bet you are?' What was that supposed to mean? She glanced down at her outfit. It was the finest clothing that money could b- she meant, she just threw this on when walking out the door, yep. That was her story and she was sticking to it. From her clothes, she looked over to Red, who was nosing at her hand. What did he...? Oh, right. He was used to her giving him treats all the time. Well... she quietly made a little 'shush' motion with her hand, and then stuck her hand in her pocket, pulling out a small treat. Of course she had treats on her. She winked at Red as she fet it to him, in a 'don't tell your owner' sort of way. As Jack tried to greet Pauline, she stepped forward hesitantly, sniffing the other person's hand. When Jack spoke though, she leapt back with surprise- whatever that ring was, she was even less used to that.

Jack smiled as Pauline pulled away from her and gave a little shrug, "It's okay honey, I know it's weird." She got back to her feet and held out her hands to Fiera at her look, "I didn't mean anything by it, I promise." Motioning to one hand, she handed over the paperwork for the other woman and smiled again, "Here you do, you have to fill out your parts now, I did all of mine." Pushing her hair back, she smiled down at Red who was licking his chops before coming over to Jack and sniffing at her hand too. Raising an eyebrow, she slipped him a treat as well, even though she had seen him already get one. It wouldn't hurt to spoil him every now and then, would it? Jack chewed on her thumbnail and then shrugged a little, "Hey, by the way, thanks for training him for me, I really appreciate the help."

Fiera waved 'buh-bye' at Red as he trotted back to his owner, before taking the paperwork from her. She settled herself in the chair next to Jack, delicately arranging herself. From one pocket, she summoned an elegant looking pen with a ridiculous pom-pom of feathers at the end. She began scribbling down the required information on the paperwork in her own looping, elegant script. "I'll try not to take too long, then." She said, giving a slight shrug of her shoulders. "And don't worry about the training with Red. It's quite literally my job, you know." Meanwhile, Pauline came and sat next to Fiera, weaving herself half under the chair. She seemed to be doing her best to not look at Jack and Red, though Fiera really wished she would. This breeding wouldn't exactly go well if she didn't get used to the other creatures here. She gently nudged her foot against Pauline to try and shove her in Red's direction, but the houluh didn't seem to want to move.

"True, but that doesn't mean I can't say thank you!" Jack said cheerfully as Red sat down next to her on the side opposite Fiera. He must have known Pauline was worried about things, and he crept underneath the woman's chair and looked at her a little bit before licking the air next to her face as quickly as he could before pulling back again. Beaming, he wondered how she would react to that, he really wanted to be friends. Besides, a lovely lady could do with some help from a muscled country boy like himself, right? Red panted a little and beamed at her again before Jack pulled him out from under her chair with a little sigh. "Yes I know you're here to flirt, but do you have to do it so loudly?" she asked him with a frown, and the Houluh barked, clearly pleased with himself as he tried to catch Fiera's eye.

Fiera chuckled as she made more needlessly complicated signatures. “Well by all means then, praise me! We both know I’m a sucker for it.” She said casually, not taking her eyes off of the paperwork as she flipped to another page. They really did make you fill out a ridiculous number of liability forms here. Under the chair, Pauline blinked with surprise as Red tried to lick her... but didn’t shy away. She was a demure young lady to be sure, but this guy didn’t seem so bad. A little eager, but not mean. She watched a little mournfully as Jack dragged him back out from underneath the chair, gently scolding him for flirting. Fiera laughed again. “Oh I don’t know about that.” She said. “Loud flirting is the best kind, in my opinion.” She said, thinking wistfully back to the conquests of her youth. She decided against going into any further detail though. If Red was getting Pauline’s attention, then that was good for everyone involved, right?

Jack laughed a little at that and shook her head, "Oh if you insist..." Her laugh turned into a grin and she took the forms after Fiera was done and handed them in. She was ready to get this over with, she couldn't wait to see what the pups would look like at least! Red would give some good pups she knew, so that wasn't going to bother her any at this point. Red sauntered over to the other Houhluh, ready to start flirting again, and he laid down next to Pauline and woofed low at her to get her attention. He was pleased by her reaction to him earlier, and he licked a little closer to her shoulder this time, hoping to catch her in surprise a little, which may or may not be a bad thing in her mind, but in his mind he was the top dog and needed all of the attention. Something, perhaps, he gained from Fiera?

Fiera was more than happy to hand her fantastic variety of forms over- there were so many she could vomit. She happily waited for Jack to turn the forms in- the less work she had to do, the better. Instead, she tapped around on her phone while the houluh interacted with each other some more. The more they could get to know each other before entering the breeding room, the better. And probably faster, now that she thought of it. Pauline seemed to be gaining a greater tolerance of Red- perhaps even some affection. She still scurried away, but it was less out of fear this time- and more out of coyness. A little flirty herself, trying to play hard to get. She skittered out from under the chair, pressing herself close to Fiera again... but was wagging her tail this time, still looking back at Red under the chair.

Jack leaned against the counter and grinned as she watched Fiera sit on her phone while the two Houluh played. She wasn't sure what was going to happen between them, but it looked like they would breed just fine so far. "I think they have a room for us now!" she told Fiera when the attendant came over to her, and she snapped her fingers for Red to come to her. Red looked up and pouted, midway to batting at the other Houluh with a forepaw. He was ready to play and get whatever they were doing done with so they could play some more, but obviously the woman didn't realize that. He snorted and walked over to her, glancing over to Pauline with somewhat of a 'come hither' look to him, which made the woman laugh. "At least they're getting along fine it seems," Jack added as she patted Red's head when he reached her.

When the receptionist gave them the go ahead, Fiera couldn't help but admit to herself that she was excited, and smiled at Jack when she said their room must be ready. Breedables were some of her favorite pets to work with, and while she had never done a houluh breeding before, the fluttering in her stomach was likely excitement and not nervousness. Pauline stood at attention the second she realized that Fiera was on the move. If there was one thing that Pauline had in spades, it was obedience. Hopefully that trait would pass down to her offspring... and with any luck, not her nerves. Red seemed disappointed at having to leave. "Yeah, they are getting along well." She said with a chuckle at Red's disappointment. "Don't worry loverboy, you'll have your chance soon." Fiera stretched and looked at the double doors leading back to the breeding rooms. "So, which room did they say again?"
