> Xentus, alone.
It had been a couple months taking up an odd quest here and there before it felt right to cash in on whatever benefit this strange operation had to offer. The walk to the outskirts of the City was one he spent mulling over his options. He'd been trying to decide between garnering some spare change or perhaps getting one of those cute little orbaru he had seen bumbling about the place.. Credits won out over the creatures, unfortunately. Perhaps some other time he'd get one after wracking up enough points, but honestly they weren't particularly to his tastes.. It'd more of a gift for Xio. That robot had the strangest fascination with those things.
The leopard wasted no time and entered the log cabin of a shop, wiping his paws off on the mat before approaching the counter. It was his first time here, but he had heard the keeper of this place could be rather.. Snappy. It was in his best interest to make haste and not dawdle about. "Xentus would like to make an exchange for the thousand value voucher, please", he voiced his request quickly and politely, offering his readied questing card.

Snappy might actually be an understatement with Jolyne, who was picking at something beneath her nail as the customer came in. Her head snapped up, not quite surprised but reacting fairly quickly for a shopkeeper anyway. She reached out to take the card, and as soon as it was relinquished to her, she swiped it through the machine readily. "Here." She said quickly after that, before taking the credits out of the safe beneath her desk. Quickly the credits were handed over, counted out. "1000 credits." She said, shoving them closer to the robot. "Recount 'em if you want." At least this customer had been prepared and was not dawdling, made her secondary job a lot easier.

Ah, no pleasantries, simply straight to business. It was a work ethic that wouldn't work in any other kind of store. At least, not if you wanted return customers. Somehow, he had a sneaking feeling that this keeper in particular didn't care one way or another. Perhaps it was a way to filter out those who might waste her time? No matter the reason, he didn't want to be among those who got on Jolyne's bad side.
Xentus stowed the returned card in his pocket, then turned his attention to the hastily shoved credits. As much as he did have an interest in standing there and counting his coin, he figured he could do that once he was gone from the mammalian woman's presence. And if any were missing, he'd just have to live with that. Not that he thought this to be the case. "This one trusts your count", he carefully said with a bowed head as he took the credits, "Thank you, and fare well." And with that, the leopard made his way out of the shop, a thousand credits richer than he had been moments before.
