Shayna was here for the first time for a Houluh Salonne show, and after all of the Debutante shows that had been going on lately, she was stoked! She hoped that there would be plenty of turn-outs for the first ever Houluh Salonne. The entire place was set up with set ups donated by the Houluh Adoption Agency as well, with information pamphlets on the best breeding practices, a few stands with samples of treats all touting to be the best, and lots of displays of houluh flourish. Banners and streamers of maroon and purple with gold trim showed off the official houluh logo in gorgeous copper shimmer between them. "The First Houluh Salonne Show is now open for Registration! We are looking for Working houluh to really show off how it is done!"Registration will end March 13th, 2020! - Please register your houluh's image, show name, stats, levels, loyalty, and your trained moves/tricks/abilities. - The Grand Prize is the coveted Maestre di Marq for the Champion! For Participation, users will be awarded Contest Hall Prize Points in accordance with their earned points. - There must be at least three contestants to run! You may only enter one houluh per Salonne, and it must be an adult.

Luna, Natural's Lunar Lane Level: 32 Loyalty: 64 Stamina: 2 Strength: 2 Resistance: 1 Dexterity: 5 Mentality: 5 Special Abilities: Empathetic Link Moves: Bite KnowsName (1) Come (1) Stay (1) No (1) Sit (1) Lay Down (1) Follow (1) Move (1) Off (1) Heel (1) Tolerance (2) Stack (1) At Ease (3) Accept Blood/Scary Sights (2) Accept Darkness (2) Accept Enclosed Spaces (2) Accept Noise (2) Accept Sudden Movements (2) The first Salonne was running, and she figured now was as good as ever to enter Luna, not that they would win, but it would be good for the experience, she figured. She had a feeling that if Nico entered, Morgan's Patronne, he would wipe the floor with them, but that was fine she knew. Luna wouldn't mind, and she would enjoy seeing Nico again since it had been awhile since they had seen each other. She patted her lovely companion on the head and headed over to register her, writing down all of her statistics, her call name and show name, and all the things she knew how to do. It was a little impressive, but not a lot she figured, not enough to win. That was fine, she would figure out what to do with her after this show, hopefully they would win one soon enough and she wouldn't have to worry about it with her anymore, just with her other Houluh eventually. That was... a lot of training, but Jack knew she could do it.

It was finally Nico's time to shine, and Morgan was more than ready to get the show on the road. Nico followed at heel to Morgan, his head held high and his pawsteps placed in a manner that gave away his particular princeliness. There were not as many here as Morgan initially expected, but then again, this was the first ever Salonne show. How many people even had a full grown Matronne or Patronne Houluh at this point? They were quite a lot of work to get ready to become mature. "Good boyo, Nico." Morgan said, more proud than they could imagine, and patting him on the head.
The Patronne sat down reflexively, and protectively watched Morgan as the human reached for the registration papers. Everyone most likely knew who Nico was at this point- or at least Morgan hoped. They did glance sidelong and realize that they recognized Jack, and Luna. They gave a quiet, respectful nod in their direction after they finished the required paperwork, and then lead Nico over to the side. This was going to be interesting, at the very least. Nico gazed at Luna for a moment, recognizing her with interest, but was too loyal to leave Morgan's side, even though he was happy to see her.

Fiera walked into the salonne registration in her Sunday best. Opal trotted along at her heel, freshly brushed and looking fine. A working houluh salonne show! Fiera had been excited the since second she heard that registration was open. She had been training Opal as a working houluh, as a guard dog specifically. This contest was perfect for her to show off her houluh's skill. She wanted to win, of course- Fiera was always obsessed with winning. Still, she knew not to get her hopes up too high- anything could happen after all, and she had only met another houluh breeder once so far. Speaking of, she nodded with Jack as she walked in, and noted the other breeders around. Their houluh looked pretty good... but with any luck, Opal would impress. Without further ado, she went to the registration table to get Opal signed up, letting the houluh eye the crowd behind her.

Tin would not win.
The houluh did not know this, did not even know why she had been dragged back to this place she had been only days before. She smelled what smells she found as the ssashirk filled out the forms, more interested in the fresh scents of other houluh than that of the shuffling papers. And for Haix, winning the contest held for the amusement of soft-skins was not necessary. There would be other slave hounds, much better trained than Haix would have done even if she had weeks to prepare. She wished to see them.
And Haix got her wish as she spotted the small group she was to stand by, one with a hound that looked as cocky as it’s master, one soft-skin that looked faintly familiar thought the hound was not, and one soft-skin with a houluh that looked remarkably like Tin, albeit if she had been groomed for hours. She took her place silently and glanced around the room, Tin following her lead in silence only as Tin stared at the other ones, hounds and soft-skins alike, with wide eyes.
