They were heading back, Corbis would give her a Kair at some point, even though she certainly hadn't given anyone one yet. She would have heard about it, it would have been great, but for right now things were going slowly, and Jack was going to have to stock up on root pairs again. That was the part that killed her, they cost so much, but she figured she was going to sell all of her gems here after a little while, she just had to suck it up and do it. Chewing on her lip, she kept an eye on the tow Kairfuryoo and wondered if anything bad would happen this time, unlike last time when it had gone so well, just... no Kair. That was fine, she didn't need a Kair to feel accomplished, but it certainly helped! Smiling to herself, she hummed a little as they walked, wishing she was actually walking with a Houluh or two toward the Breeding Center, but that wasn't going to happen, not today at least. She had to focus on the task at hand, and she smiled a little as she watched the two waist high birds wander around in front of her, as though they knew where they were headed.

It was alright, she would try until she got one, with many different variations if she needed to at this point, which was certainly going to have to happen sometime in the near future, she had a feeling at least. Jack pushed her hair back and then crammed a hat on her head to keep her tangles from escaping a little bit, if she really could at this point. It didn't matter to her right now, she figured there had to be something to guarantee a Kair in this breeding. Maybe she would just be lucky, but there was a small doubt about that at the moment. All she could really do was smile as she walked with the two Kairfuryoo, wondering what they would give her this time. Maybe breeding two Kairfuryoo so close in color was a bad idea, but she wasn't going to admit that, at least not yet. Smiling from ear to ear, she walked toward the Breeding Center, hoping she would come out with something good, but she really didn't know if that was going to happen. All she knew was that... well, she was going to try, and keep trying until she got what she wanted.

The walk to the Breeding Center was long and annoying she knew, and didn't know what else to think of other than her two waist high Kairfuryoo. They were fine just wandering around at the moment, and the woman smiled a little at them as she tried to figure out what to do with them as they walked. It was a boring walk, it always was whenever she didn't meet anyone else at this point. Sighing a little, she wasn't sure what to expect from them, hopefully a dark looking Kair, but she wasn't sure they would do that for her. Oh well, if they didn't, then they wouldn't and that was that she decided. It wasn't like she had any idea of what to do right now, but that was fine at the same time. She smiled a little at the pair of them and wondered what it would be like to train one of them. It all would work out, but she wasn't sure what to do with this and all that. Whatever, as long as she eventually got a Kair it would be alright. Why was she breeding so much for this anyway? It's not like Kair could breed, so she didn't know why she was obsessed with it.

Even though the walk was always tedious, at least she had the birds to care for at the same time. It made things go a little faster, it seemed, and at least they were quicker at walking than Orbaru were. Of course, they weren't as scatterbrained as Orbaru were either. Sighing, she wished they were already there and done with, though it wasn't going to be quick at all to get there, or to have the breeding finished. She knew it was just a wish of her own to get things done with, but she didn't know what else to expect from things either. Once again, hopefully they would throw a Kair, but if they didn't, it wouldn't be the end of the world. Maybe she would try a different male with Corbis next time, if a Kair didn't result from this breeding, that might work out in the long run, she figured with a little smile. Jack just hoped that they were healthy, that was the main thing, it would be terrible if she was accidentally inbreeding or something, though she had heard that it didn't really matter with these species, the ones that needed the root pairs in order to breed.

Root pairs were weird things, a pair of roots with one going to the female and one going to the male in order for them to breed. None of the other species who could breed needed something like that, so she wondered if she was doing something wrong or something. Shrugging to herself, she realized it didn't really matter, but that was fine at the same time. Jack grinned a little, when she was by herself her mind was a scary place, always running in circles, never knowing what she was going to do wrong, if anything. Pushing her hair back, she settled her hat on top of her head again and kept walking with the two birds on either side of her, never leaving her sight and wondering what was going to happen. She smiled a little, unsure of what she was going to get done today, if anything, and knew that she really needed to be working with her Houluh instead of doing a breeding which may or may not result in a Kair. That was the issue, and she wasn't sure she could do anything but procrastinate at this point. It was irritating, but what could you really do?

The two Kairfuryoo seemed happy to be together again at least, even though all of them lived together at the Kennel. That didn’t matter to some of them though, she knew, and the woman chuckled a little as she watched them walking around, trying to figure out where they were going. Corbis had a pretty good idea of where they were headed, but Tux wasn’t going to listen to any of it, considering he still refused to believe he had chicks that were growing up already. It was hard to watch your offspring grow, or at least that’s what she had been told by some, and she imagined it was the same with animals as well, or at least, with some of them. Sighing to herself, she realized it didn’t really matter in the long run, she just wanted a Kair out of Corbis, maybe she would try her with another male if Tux didn’t give her one, just to see if that would make a difference. She had gotten a nice red male as well from the shop that sold them, and she might try that at some point as well. It only made sense, maybe the Kair from that would turn out really bright, or maybe a dark blood red?

A nice dark Kair would be lovely, though she was hoping for more of a black one than a red one. It made sense a little bit, plus she had one on order from the Labs who was going to be dark greens and browns, a Kairfuryoo, that is, and she was looking forward to it. She just didn’t remember if she had ordered a male or a female… that was important, she thought, but she shrugged, it didn’t really matter in the long run. If she had gotten a male she would breed him to Corbis, if a female, she would breed her to Tux at some point. This was nothing though, all was the way it needed to be, and she smiled at the two of them as they all walked toward the Breeding Center. She had been there a lot lately, both because of wild breedings and for Houluh as well at the same time. Of course with Houluh she had mostly met up with Morgan, with Feira being one whole breeding now. There were more plans with Breezy Daze Kennel, Feira’s kennel, but for now she was happy to help out Morgan a little bit at the same time. It was fun, and she liked the other human. The last breeding had resulted in what appeared to be a phantom pup, an all white pup even though the bottom of the hairs were chocolate. It was interesting at least!

Nothing was going to go wrong as long as they were together though, Jack knew. The woman smiled at the two birds for a little bit as they walked, wondering if they had pair bonded yet or not, or if that was even a thing with Kairfuryoo. Hopefully things were going to work out between them again, she knew they’d already had two chicks and Corbis had two more with another male, one of them lived with them as well and Tux had kind of adopted the little chick. At the same time, nothing was going to happen at the same time, everything was going to be alright when it was all said and done, and she hoped that she would be able to get things done at the end of it all. When she got the chicks she would look for the telltale sign of a Kair, and if she didn’t get one yet, then she would simply try again. That was all she really could do right now, it wasn’t like she could force it. Oh well though, it didn’t really matter in the long run, as long as she got these done and had fun with it, then that was all that mattered, right? Chuckling to herself, she led the two birds toward the Breeding Center still, wondering when they would get there.

Jack would be thrilled no matter what kind of babies they gave her, she knew that much at the moment. Smiling, she looked over at the two of them chattering to each other in stunted Marhoo, and wished she knew what they were talking about. It was hard to understand them even though she spoke it, they had an odd accent she couldn’t place and they weren’t easy to understand in the first place. Oh well, it’s not like it mattered, she didn’t know what they would talk about anyway. A love of eggs? She liked to eat them and hatch them, she supposed, but other than that she just didn’t know. Giving a shrug, she realized it didn’t matter in the long run as long as they got along with each other just fine. Smiling, she nodded when they looked at her and there was a giggling laugh from both of them as though she had just caught them doing something they weren’t supposed to be done. Whatever, she didn’t care, it was pretty cute no matter what. Jack pushed her hair back and then plopped her hat back onto her head, patting her bag next to make sure she still had it and her node pouch.

Everything was fine, but she knew that getting to the Breeding Center was usually the hardest part. Sighing a little, she didn’t know what to think of things right now, but that was fine at the same time, at least she got to spend some time outdoors and that was important to her no matter what. All she could do was hope that she would get what she wanted from the breeding, but if not, well, she needed to get more root pairs anyway because she wanted to breed Dragon Oaks. Babies were so cute, though not so much human babies it seemed, they were small and wrinkly and she didn’t want to break them, so she tried to avoid them at this point. Nothing bad would happen if she just stayed away, she figured. Now animal babies were different, they were pretty adorable and she couldn’t hurt them as easily, she figured. O maybe people just wouldn’t care if she hurt them like that…? Shrugging, it wasn’t like she was going to do that or anything, but it was interesting to think of things like that. Glancing at the two Kairfuryoo, she hoped that everything really would be fine in the end of it all.

The building loomed in the distance and she hoped that everything would be alright when they got there. At least they could all see it now, and the two birds now seemed excited since they could see it. Maybe that’s all they really needed, to see it in order to get happy about the idea. Corbis was happy no matter what, but Tux was having some issues. That was fine she knew, but she also knew she wanted to deal with a happy bird, not a nervous one. Tux was indeed happy, however, and wondered what they were going to do at the building again. More chicks? At least it gave them eggs to deal with for a little while before they hatched, she knew. At least that was the good news, the bad news was that they didn’t do much after they hatched, but at least they were pretty cute! Smiling at them, Jack patted their heads and chuckled as they both nuzzled up to her for a moment before they kept moving, hoping to find their way there as time went on. Maybe it was just because it was a lovely day outside, but Jack was in a decent mood and hoped that everything would be alright when it all came down.

Jack had more to do today of course, especially with Houluh, but for now she needed to focus on the birds. It was hard to do, there were more important things for her to be doing she thought, but this was important enough for now and she had wanted it to be done, so there she had it, there was no other choice. Sighing a little, she shook her head and checked on the birds before they kept on moving, almost to the Breeding Center now at least. Chewing on her lip, she wasn’t sure what to do about them right now, but that was fine at the same time. All she knew was that she didn’t have to worry about much of anything right now other than the birds, everything else could wait a little while longer, she figured. The Houluh weren’t going anywhere, and it wasn’t like she didn’t have time to work with them. The goddess wouldn’t let them grow until they had proven they were well trained, after all, so it wasn’t like she had to hoof it toward them or anything. Oh well, she wanted to get them done, but for now she had to focus on the task at hand, which was certainly breeding her Kairfuryoo.

Almost there, just a little ways more and then things would be perfect, she figured with a little smile on her face. They would breed, she would head home with double the amount of animals, and all would be well. She just hoped that nothing was going to go wrong with them, though it was hard to tell at this point. They seemed to like each other enough, Corbis and Tux, but she wasn’t sure they would give her a Kair. She knew it was a long shot, but there wasn’t much she could do about it at the moment. Oh well, if they didn’t then she would try for something else after awhile. Jack pushed her hair back and put her hat back on her head, hoping that something good would come of this after all. Maybe she should speak to the Kair she already had, not like she was a wild Kair or anything, if there was such a thing. There used to be though, it seemed, and she smiled a little, hoping that things would work out for her in the long run no matter what. It just seemed like everything was going against her for now, she would have to fix that soon.

The three of them finally reached the outside of the Breeding Center, and Jack breathed a sigh of relief as she looked through her bag to make sure she had the last root pair with her. That would be her luck, get there and then realize she didn’t have it. Chuckling a little, she led the pair into the Breeding Center and hoped that they would get a room quickly. She walked over to the counter with them and started to fill out the paperwork. Names, gender, family history, any offspring, if they’d been bred together before, it all worked out at the moment. It helped that they were generation one Kairfuryoo straight from the Labs, she figured with a chuckle, and almost wished she would have picked up a Dragon Oak while in Herbologist’s Delight last time. Frowning, she wasn’t sure what to expect from them, but hopefully she would get something good out of the pair. The Dragon Oaks she was going to breed were her giant and the one she had ordered from the Labs, the one with the cat spots. That was going to have to wait awhile though, she was on a mission as of right now, and she might end up sinking all of her credits into it, unfortunately.
