Without a doubt, at least Tok was doing something to help her out at the moment and not just sitting there like a lump anymore. Sighing to herself, she reached down and patted him a little before digging into the dirt again and shoveling it back. She didn't know what to do with things right now, but... that was alright, just keep digging, that was what needed to happen. Just dig and get these saplings in the ground before the storm rolled in, she figured. There were a few stragglers other than her at the moment, but right now that wasn't important, she just wanted to get this done. Jack finally got the second hole dug deep enough and wandered over to get a sapling, Tok on her shoulder again as she did what needed to be done. She picked up a sapling and inspected it's roots for a moment with a frown. A few were rotting, so she pulled them off and tossed them to the side, hoping that would be good enough for it at the moment, at least until it could get settled in it's new home in the hole she had dug. Jack shrugged, it better do it at least.

Jack and Tok took the sapling over to the hole and settled it in before putting the dirt back in place, leaving a little mound around the trunk as they did so, if only so it wouldn't be right there when the rain started. Already there were a few drops here and there, and she knew it was going to be hard to get anything else done for now. Sighing, Jack pushed a hand through her hair and looked at the sky, hoping to see an empty spot, but there was nothing but clouds up there, dark ones, so this was going to be rough after a little while. Even Tok figured it out and scurried from one shoulder to the next, shivering a little as he clung to her. Still, she wanted to get more and more done before she called it quits for the day, even though she knew she could come back tomorrow. Or at least, whenever the rain stopped she would, again with Tok. It was all the same to her, either way worked, but she would rather finish this sooner rather than later. Sighing to herself, she moved to the next spot and started to dig again.
