So. Magic, huh. Fiera's home land never had anything like that- it was all a myth. Fairy tales that you told kids to make them feel like the world was a slightly less crappy place. Since she had come here though... she had to admit that magic wasn't as fake as she had thought originally. She had found plenty of magic crystals, seen strange creatures perform acts of elemental intrigue that she could only have dreamed of before. And apparently, people could learn to do magic too. She thought it was... well, all pretty silly. And was definitely tempted to turn around when she approached the pyramid that this 'node creation' occurred at. She had steadily collected all of the ingredients she had heard were necessary for this process over the past year, and some of them had proven incredibly difficult to harvest. Still, if anyone could make a node, it was Fiera-freaking-Ferella.

At the top of the pyramid, Fiera definitely wasn't panting and exhausted. Nope. Only one stony faced cat here- though it looked like she wasn't the only one. Three robed figures sat in front of her, their expressions unreadable. Fiera would make a quip about how they managed to sit out in the sun all day like this... but... after noticing their hollow, black eyes she decided to bite her tongue and get on with it instead.
She gave them a brief nod and shuffled through her bag instead, laying her ingredients out before them. Three remnant crystals, hard earned through months of exploration at the mansion. A mind crystal, dug up in the mines, shiny and pink. And a healing berry, gained via convincing a king of the evergreen to give up it's own seeds. They had taken her some time to obtain, but hopefully would be sufficient for what she was trying to do today.

The robed figures didn't seem to approve of her offerings one way or another. Fiera flicked one of her ears involuntarily, trying to not let any irritation show- would a simple yes or no encouragement hurt? Still, she looked over the slab, and saw the dagger. It was green, ornate, and shiny, clearly well maintained over time. She had a pretty good guess of what that was for. If she remembered correctly though, the berries needed to come first. She picked them up, glancing at the shiny and slightly iridescent surfaces, remembering the effort she had put into getting them one last time before popping them in her mouth. Huh. They were a lot less bitter than she thought such small fruit would be. They tasted pretty good actually, all things considered. Still, they were just a mere mouthful and she needed to move fast before their healing effect wore off.

She lifted the blade, and couldn't help but appreciate how the light glinted off of the delicate blade. Still, she knew she had to keep going. She made a short incision on the back of her arm. She wasn't one of those idiots who sliced their palms open, after all. There were so many nerve endings in there, it would always hurt ten times more than it needed to, not to mention the potential of permanent nerve damage. This would heal up in a couple of days and would easily be covered by a sleeve. Maybe faster, now that she had eaten the healing berries. Now that the was bleeding though, she hurried to cover the objects she had brought with blood. Gross and unsanitary yes, but she had to admit it fit the deep magic theme that this pyramid was going for. Soon enough, all of the remnant crystals and mind crystal she had brought with her were covered in spatters of blood.

Then, all she had to do was... kneel apparently. Her pride would take a blow yes, but at least it was easy to do physically as she got down on her knees. Oof, or maybe not- Fiera's knees had seen better days. Once she was down though, she supposed that all there was left to do was... pray, or something. Fiera was admittedly not a 'prayer' kind of person. As far as she was concerned, if you wanted something done, you do it yourself. Just this once though, she supposed that she could let someone else do the work. She slapped a bandage over her arm wound, and then closed her eyes.
"Well, if anyone's listening..." She thought to herself. "I've done as much as I can, here. I put a lot of hard work into it, and I think it's about time I tapped out. If you want to give me a hand and help me out with this magic stuff... well, I'd sure appreciate it."
