Back again, and a little too soon, Renathan thought. However, it was probably a good idea to go ahead and do this now instead of trying to put it off and wind up causing it to take longer in the future. That might just annoy the shopkeeper a little too much. The mammalian came to the Questing Inquisitor to get a few more credits by turning in some of his points with his beloved familiar Auburn on his shoulder. She twittered and sang, and Renathan knew that even if it didn't quite feel like spring yet, that generally meant that spring was coming through her happiness. She loved winter too, but she seemed to have a special love for spring. Renathan asked her to sit on the windowsill nearby, and stay, and then he steps into the shop. He walks directly to the front counter and hands over his card; "I'd like to turn in 5 QP for credits, please." He said, sheepishly grinning beneath the mask. Time to be as quick as possible so as to not hold up the shopkeeper too much.

Jolyne scowled a little and snatched up his card before she swiped it and nodded. The woman then took some credits, put them into a pouch, and handed them and the card back over to the man. "There you go, anything else?" she asked.

Oh, there she was scowling again! Renathan's teeth grate beneath the mask, not in the 'angry' way but in the 'oh crap' way. He didn't really blame her at all, he'd heard rumors that she had a secondary, more difficult job- and that it had something to do with dealing with idiots. He understood in some ways, and in other ways, he kinda just wanted to get the heck out of here so that she didn't give him a reason to Be scared. There was something kinda predatory about her, in a good way of course! He took the credits, tied them about his waist sash, and shook his head. "No ma'am, thank you!" And then, at that, he just about took off out of there like someone had poured hot sauce on his butt. Thankfully, this was a done deal now. He'd just barely remembered to take his card back.
Auburn was waiting for him just outside. "Alright gal, you ready to go?" She seemed as happy-flappy as ever, at least!
