Once the door was shut securely, Fiera set the carrier down and peered into it. Coastal didn't look too agitated, but Fiera wasn't going to let her out quite yet. "Give me one minute." Fiera said, digging around in her pocket for a little pouch. "I have the berries for the breeding, and that one stone I mentioned. I just want to be sure Coastal has the opportunity to eat them... or uh, mash them up with her feet before she meets Pounce." She said, and then opened the cage a crack. Coastal pressed her face against the front, but Fiera only took the opportunity to slip the berries and the stone in. She sniffed at them, curious, and experimentally tapped the stone with one of her paws. "I'll admit, I'm not really sure what I was supposed to do with that one." Fiera said sheepishly. "It's supposed to do SOMETHING in breedings, but it didn't exactly come with instructions."

Silver watched as the Fiera dumped the berries and that weird stone in with the female Pachee. That's right, Pachee didn't eat with their mouths. They were pretty sure that they knew that, but they hadn't thought about it until they saw it happen. The strange half-plant half-animal creatures of this land never ceased to amaze them, even after all of this time. There was also the matter of the unknown magic stone she had thrown into the mix. Even as an elemental, Silver didn't really trust magic, especially magic that they didn't understand. They were so desperate to appease Fiera, however, that they would let her do whatever she wanted... so long as no creature was intentionally harmed, that is.
"Oh yea," Silver said, staring at the glowing stone. They had received one, too, from a quest or something. They were always coming across magical trinkets laying around and they had an entire study full of them. Did Fiera have a room full of weird magical objects, too? They wouldn't ask. "I hope it doesn't bother them," they mused aloud.
Pounce stretched out his neck as far as he could to see what Coastal was doing. Those berries smelled good! He wanted some, too. Quin chirped as the carrier opened, then jerked back suddenly when it snapped shut again. He really wanted to play with her! He watched Silver's reactions carefully so that he didn't overstep his boundaries again, and for now he sat patiently waiting for the carrier to come open.

After a few minutes, Fiera had the feeling that Coastal had eaten as much of the berries as she was going to, and had spent enough time around the stone that whatever... effects it had were already in place. "I hope it doesn't bother her, either!" Fiera said, glancing at it. It looked like the glow had faded some... did that mean it worked? She supposed there was only one way to find out. "I'll throw a fit if that 'magic breeding item' actually hurts my pets, yanno?" She said, and finally opened the cage door. Coastal Town's Nightmare immediately jumped out of the carrier at Pounce, still covered in berry gore from tearing apart the fruits that Fiera had given her. It looked like the "Nightmare" part of her name was accurate, as she was hardly gentle when playing. "Aw, looks like they like each other!" Fiera cooed, disregarding her pachee's... over-enthusiastic technique. They'd probably be fine.

Silver always got a weird feeling around the strange magical objects that permeated this city. They never did feel like they could fully trust them, whether they were advertised as a benefit or not. They worried about Coastal, and to a lesser extent Pounce for being close to her. For all they knew, it could make her explode into confetti after she had the babies. None of this seemed right to share with Fiera, however, so they just nodded along and hoped that the worst of their runaway imaginations didn't come true.
"Haha, yea," Silver said, watching the two of them interact. Pachee were not very subtle creatures, especially not Coastal, apparently. They instinctively flinched when she jumped on Pounce, but he seemed fine. His soft grey fur was now stained with the juice of the berries, but he looked happy to have access to his new friend. He softly tapped his tail on the floor, leaving a little puff of pollen to float into the air. He was nearly ready and could hardly contain his excitement. Now if only he could lick the berry juice off his fur, he'd be all set!
Quin wanted to jump in on the fun, too! They looked so happy. He waved his tail around, imitating Pounce, and squeaked cutely. 'Play with me!' he was saying, though no doubt his cries were unheard by the busy couple.

Fiera stood back and leaned up against the wall, looking at the pachee expectantly. It sure would suck if these magic items were dangerous. "It would really suck if our pachee like... exploded into confetti after this, right?" Fiera laughed. "That probably won't happen though. Probably." She said, folding her arms behind her head. "All we can do now is watch though, eh?"
She was definitely pleased at that little puff of pollen that came up- hopefully that meant they'd be done soon. Sure enough, she could see Coastal opening the slit on her head- soon enough, some of that pollen would flow into it and they could go home. Coastal pushed him down again, letting the pair of them roll over and over across the breeding room floor. This guy was fun! She was definitely excited- though it probably wouldn't be for the best if Quin decided to join in right now.

Silver looked slightly alarmed when Fiera said that about the magic item. Was she in their head? Had they said that aloud and not realized it? They sure hoped not. They just laughed; the thought sounded absurd when she said it out loud. "Yea, magic is weird," they said, fully aware of how odd that sounded coming from a person who sparkled.
"Quin leave them alone," they said. Silver picked him up and tossed gently into the air. The whole thing seemed very practiced, as Quin floated in a loop then landed on their head. They had definitely done this before. "There we go."
Pounce felt weird. There was a girl here, she was real cute, and she all over him! He had met another girl before, but he wasn't terribly used to it yet. This was all going a bit fast for him to wrap his head around. There was a ton of pollen on his tail, though, and he could see that she was ready for it. He closed his eyes and thwapped his tail on the ground, sending pollen floating off in every direction. It was a ton more than they actually needed, but hopefully enough of it got to where it needed to go. It sure was a rather messy process, and Silver couldn't help but to think it could be more efficient if they did it by hand like with their flowers. Ah well, they were having fun at least.

The leery stone seems to have had an effect on these babies... What strange glowing markings!
