‘ Nothing seems to have changed since last time.’ She muses while looking around at the room that has cages upon cages with creatures stored inside, the room full of noise with all kind of different creatures calling out, she sees in one cage that actually has some Mussimanders put together and chittering softly with each other. It made her smile when seeing it. From what she can tell, not many creatures are put together, either from the conflicting nature of prey and predator type, or perhaps just that the personalities don’t mash well together. She nervously checks her pocket, feeling the paper against her fingertips, the form she received after entering the building in order to adopt, digging her hand deeper in her pocket makes her feel the shape of the plastic pen and reassuring her she got everything she needed for now. Sure, she did brought along her backpack that contain some more items for entertaining the creatures here, and some collars and leashes in different shapes.

But as she didn’t know what or who she wants to bring back with her, she feels like those two items are currently the most important ones, she can always make arrangements for transport if needed. ‘I think these ones already have a high chance of getting adopted.’ She couldn’t help but think as she passes the plant like creatures, blinking and frowning slightly in confusion as she even sees a couple of robots here. Activated, but watching passively, not caring one bit with what is going on around them. ‘Wouldn’t these belong more with Kapper’s area of expertise?’ The robots didn’t even pay her one bit of attention as she crouches down to peer in their cages, curious but in the end disappointed at the lack of reaction that they show to her presence. ‘What is in those big cages?’ She had seen at least one Equillion already of the more Wild variety, and that cages was in no way as big as this one, ands reminded her more of the size that the Thundergug she had adopted a couple of months ago was in.

Walking closer to the cage that seems to have something weird on the bars that only when she is close enough to see the shapes makes her think of runes perhaps? Or maybe a different variety from the ones she saw in one of the books she owns with this one neatly painted in white with precise strokes on the metal bars from top to bottom. With all that work done on only the bars of this cage made her interest double on what she might find. She didn’t notice anything on the bottom of the cage though, completely empty, and perhaps a tad too clean for something to be occupying in it. Disappointed, she was about to turn away from that cage to another if not for the movement she noticed above her. “Well, hello there.” She mutters as she watches what must be one of the older variations of Golossle occupying the cage by floating high above it, almost reaching the ceiling.

‘Its certainly not the newest ones, those have more spikes on the face.’ She thinks while eyeing its shape, that this being is as see-through as Envix is, but more lighter in coloration. Which actually makes it harder to see them. The Golossle didn’t seem to have noticed her presence yet from what she can tell. Either that, or she is being ignored when she first said something. The latter option she didn’t think much on, she hadn’t exactly said anything too loudly yet. ‘I wonder if these runes are painted on the bars in order to keep it contained in one spot? It would make sense to do that.’ The runes being made in such a visible color might be a warning in and of itself. Clearing her throat without bothering to cover it up made her see that the Golossle twitched at that noise, turning around only enough so that it could look down on her. Its face a mixture between resigned and curiosity.

She hesitated at that for a second, just staring at the face of the Golossle. How intelligent are they again? She wasn’t certain of it, but it felt like this one expected to be passed over as soon as people see it? Smiling with a slight bit of uncertainty as she squeezed her arm through the bar she held out her hand, it might not be a dog or cat who would sniff at the hand of a stranger to make up their mind on whether or not they would like the person, or ignore it in the end. But something inside her felt like she should do it, give it the same type of courtesy even if it is an ethereal being and such a gesture could be meaningless. “You seem pretty lonely here, huh?” For there was no one else occupying the cage together with this being, no food or water bowls either, and just a couple of strange toys that seem to glint with something. The clicking of mandibles could be heard, but barely, as the noise of all the other creatures occupying this room are so much louder in comparison. Slowly the Golossle glided down, coming more to ground level as its interest start to show more, clicking louder as it looks at her hand. “I wonder if you would come with me? I’ve got a few others who, just like you, are ethereal. It would certainly give you more playmates to have around then just being here.” She notes while looking again at the strangely almost empty room if not for the toys and the being in front of her. It surprised her actually when it tried nudging her hand and went through it, making her shiver at the ghost like touch of feeling a slightly cold breeze passing through her. Still looking so curious at her, but almost innocently in a way. With her lips stretching in a larger smile, she is certain now of who she wants to take home with her. “You’ll enjoy it, much more then here I am certain.” Twilight 0.5 – Logged
