Her last quest had been successful and Leafy found herself eager to complete another. Long had served her well and she had taken him to the quest board once more. They had a good thing going on and she didn’t want to change that up for the time being. Long led her to the board, having learned where it was from their previous trips. It appeared that he was just as eager to adventure as she was. “Hopefully there’s something that promises great riches!” She exclaimed loudly. Long meowed in response, happy to chime in with his excitement. Leafy took a few moments to scan the board, searching for a quest that stood out to her. “Glowmoths? I wonder if they could be more dangerous than they sound. Either way, it promised some kind of mysterious reward. Why don’t we try this one?” With the selection made, the two headed off into the direction of the park. (Long 4 1/5, 11 1/5) 1

Hunting moths certainly sounded safer than hunting down a giant Nyssa, but names could be deceiving. Long would be here as additional support if it did turn out dangerous. Leafy was very familiar with the public park. She had been there often, training the various pets that she owned.
“Maybe I’ll take you there in an official capacity soon.” She told Long.
The Mosca stepped lightly across the street as they crossed over towards the park. Hopefully the glowmoths would be easy to find, but even if they weren’t, Leafy was skilled enough that she was sure to find some eventually. She had made a quick stop to find some jars that she could use to capture the creatures. If they turned out to be larger than the jars, then she would need to think of something else. For now, the jars would suffice.
“Alright we’re almost there. We’ll pick a spot and then go from there.”

The park was pleasant during this time of the year. The leaves had completely grown in, resulting in luscious greenery that covered the entire area. Leafy felt herself relax. Long was intrigued with the new area. He took his time to scent a patch of flowers near the entrance. The girl squinted as she tried to spot any sign of moths. She wasn’t exactly certain what she was looking for. The picture had been rather unclear. The name glowmoth implied that there would be some indication of glowing. There couldn’t be many species of moths that could glow, right?
“We’ll go when you’re ready.” She told Long, not wanting to put a damper on his time in the park. The Mosca took a little bit more time before padding back over to Leafy. When he was ready, the girl started walking in the left. There were no outright signs of moths, but she had to start somewhere.

Long didn’t seem like he would be offering much in the way of help for the time being. He was too busy taking in the new sights and smells of the park. Leafy didn’t mind much. If she was still looking for moths in about five hours, she might feel different.
“Do you think they’ll be the kind of moths that can destroy plants? If they are, then we’ll be able to look for a trail to follow.” Long meowed in response, which the girl could not decipher. Perhaps he was suggesting that it was a possibility.
Leafy stepped closer to the trees, allowing Long to do his own thing for now. As she drew closer to the trees, she took notice of the various insects present in the park. If she could identify the mundane ones, perhaps she could eliminate them from her search.
“Glowing moths should leave a glowing trail.”

Long joined her now, his tail flicking back and forth in interest at the task at hand. Leafy narrowed her eyes as she examined the trees.
“These look like pretty typical bugs to me.” She complained.
Long trotted forward and pressed his nose against the bark of the tree. Her drew back quickly, sneezing as tree pollen hit his nose. Leafy laughed at the look of annoyance that spread across his face. She took the time now to search for signs of glowing. Maybe the glowmoths would be like snails and leave a slime trail everywhere they went. If she could follow a glowing trail that would certainly make things easier.
“I don’t think this tree has anything. Let’s try the next one.” She commented.
She and Long headed for a cluster of birch trees that were located a few meters to the left. She did a quick scan of all the places she suspected would attract moths, but she had a limited view of things.
